I am trying to add an image to Report Designer Layout (Client Version Apps 8 SP1 ) . As per the F1 document image path has set . But getting this message while trying to save the image ?How can I fix this ?
I’m wondering if anyone has a technical explanation of the factors that can affect the output speed when using an output channel from an overview screen? We (me or users) can see a wide variation in the output speed based on time of day, system load, user connection speed, user terminal load, etc. All of which typically make sense and are mostly correlative. However, very often I notice that the same output one time will run at hundreds or even dozens of rows per second, while at other times seem to progress at thousands of rows per second. Sometimes the output is steady and continues until done with no pauses, other times, the output seems to hold for pauses of minutes to dozens of minutes.I’m aware that creating Quick Reports to reduce the relative number of columns has a significant effect on reducing speed, but for all users, I should be able to give them some expectation of the threshold or limitation with number of rows that are too many.I’ve been doing tests with anywhere fr
I’d like to format a column heading with all caps as it is an acronym COGS, but haven’t figured out how to do it; it seems IFS always translates it to camel case. The closest I got was with a space between each char, but I’d like it to be w/o spaces.
We’ve created a new context/scope in Aurena and want to roll it out to users. The only way I can find to do that is by default company. We have several business units and would like some users to see one style screen, and other users to see a different one. They are all users with the same default company. Is there any other way to do this other than company?
Hi, I have issue about customization deployment in Linux. in windows, i can deploy customization successfully with run re-configure. but, when i try in linux, the runtime is not deployed (client.war is not generated), and also there is no the figure below when run re-configure advice please. Hi. Does anyone have anything that might help me with custom tabs in Aurena? I need to add a custom tab, based on a custom logical unit, into a CRM screen. The LU has been created with a Projection in the EE client, and I’ve created the Projection in Aurena, but I’m not sure what the next step should be or how to get the custom LU to appear as an entity to connect it to the new page. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Ian.

Hi all, We have been working with IFS on this issue for several days but without success, and I am losing faith. I have asked for escalation but in the meantime, I wonder if anyone has ideas on what is going on here. Issues: If we try to Download All Packages, we see the first error We see errors 2 and 3 shown below with any Employee/Person form This issue occurs on our Live, Test and Dev instances (Live and Test/Dev are on different physical servers) We do not know exactly when the issue occurred as we do not add new employees often Attempted Fixes: Used F1Mage.exe to recreate signed application Reconfigured server Restored to backup of “instance” Uninstalled .NET update and restarted servers Deleted “C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0” folder Run “rundll32 dfshim CleanOnlineAppCache” on client PC Nothing works! Does anyone know if there is a way to create an outline around fields on a page? There is an existing outline on the page but we want to create a new one for some custom fields that have been added. This is an example of the out-of-the box outline. We’d like to add one or more new ones.
In IFS Apps 9, how does IFS runtime client store “caching” the username and password that is used on the IFS login screen? Our client is running into an issue where no matter if they tell it to save the password it keeps changing what user is logging in. Only exception is IFS is launched through a shared ClickOnce (ifs.fnd.runtime) application using RDS, not via URL. Other option is to figure out a way to suppress or grey out the Extended logon options: Please advise.

Hi, I’m trying to figure out how to install IFS EE Extension for all users via ConfigMgr. From my testing I can’t get it to work then doing it in SYSTEM context. Has anyone found a solution for this? When I do it manually (starting the ifseeextensioninstall.msi) with a user account that have admin rights on a machine, it works correctly. But there must be a solution where the user doesn't need to be local admin, right? Best regards/ Tobias Sandberg
I have a Quick Report (Crystal Report) that has the parameter WO_NO (work order number). The report works fine. Created a custom menu on the work order header and in the custom menu set the Quick Report Parameter as: Source Key Name = WO_NO Dest Key Name = WO_NO This again works fine but the user has to press enter when the parameter screen displays the Work Order No. Can this be set to AUTO accept the value being passed?
Currently, when adding a new button (within command groups in the page designer) it seems that the ExternalNavigationLink is being restricted to prefix with either http:// or https:// - is there any way of calling a custom scheme / protocol (class) registered on the PC? I have a local class that has been associated with a software in where I want to invoke it from Aurena. Is this even possible?
I have a user that is trying to export query data from IFS, a large amount of query data, and he just needs the flat file (.csv). His Output channel is exporting the .csv file to Excel and trying to auto-open, and the export is taking a very long time - due to the many rows of data being downloaded to Excel. The user does not need to view this info in Excel, so is there a way to create an Output channel where it will just allow you to save the flat file to a local file folder without having to open in an application first?
I have created a Read Only custom field on the GL Voucher Row Analysis and when I go back to the screen and Reload the Configuration it does not show up in the Column Chooser. I have logged out and back in and still no luck. Any ideas on why this is not showing up? Apps 10 UPD5

I tried to set a newly created Lobby as a homepage for a base profile. I thought i got it to work, however when the end users log in, they get the following error message. I think it is because the Lobby is set to my personal data rather than generic for all. The steps i took to do this:Go to Options and chose the User Profile. Then clicked edit base profile and chose our Quality base profile. Then with that base profile active in my screen, i searched for the Quality Lobby and opened the page. Clicked on Options>General and clicked Use current to make that Lobby the home pageWhat am i doing wrong/missing?
Somewhere in IFS 10, each window knows which table or view it’s based on. And, the navigator knows what to display in it’s list and which window to display when the user clicks an item. How do I get a list of all the windows named in the navigator, the tables or views they’re based on, and their Object relations?For instance, someone created a custom menu in window “frmPriceInquiryAnswer” and I need to verify it works (for migration to IFS 10). Searching the navigator for something like that gets me to “Price Query” and it doesn’t have a custom menu. Multiply this by a list of 300 custom menus, and you see my problem.In advance, thanks so very much!
