How do i find mws-svr.cmd password to stop all the servers? i tried Internal and Internal1 passwords but it didn’t worked. is there a way to find that password?

Greetings, IFS community! Documents are saved in the database and not on an external FTP server. Will it be possible to search for a document using words that are contained within the document as parameters? I am capable of searching and creating simple queries and quick reports in DOCMAN that utilize custom fields and fields from the tables. However, I am trying to conduct a search within the attached document for keywords. Would this be possible? Could you please provide me with some instructions on how to accomplish this if it is possible? We are using IFS 10 Thank you.

Hello,I have created a crystal report for a customer order Pick list, but when I try to view the report in quick reports, I get this error I configured the selection formula to match the IFS result key on the Customer order pick list rep view’s result key as seen in an IFS Cloud tutorial, but still no luck viewing it on this page. Does anyone have experience with configuring crystal reports? Do I NEED to have crystal web services? because currently, I am not using itThanks and any response would be appreciated,Bryan

Hi IFS Community, I face an issue with the connection of Excel Add InIn the config, Excel is installed on a rebond machine hosted by the customer. Version of Excel is MS Excel LTSC Office Long Term Servicing Channel Microsoft® Excel® LTSC MSO (16.0.14332.20546) 64-bit I managed to set up everything manifest, permission set … but when i try to connect Excel Add In i have the following message.ADD-IN ERROR Content blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate. Hi Everyone, Context: 3 Azure VM’s (Management - Windows, Database & Middletier - Linux) all in one Virtual Network. Issue: When trying to Deploy Middle Tier, I get the following Error, 10.80.50.5 is my Database server’s private ip address. And I couldnt find a port 10250 in the Database Server either. And when I googled it seems the 10250 is a port of Kubernetes. Would someone be able to clarify:Should the dial tcp command actually be trying to reach <<db_host>>:10250?And if soShould the DB server have a port 10250? When does it get configured and opened? PS: I was able to do ‘prepare database’ and ‘deploy ifs application database code’ steps without any issues. Log files were okay as well. Any help in this regard is appreciated. Thanks.

Can anyone advise what my expectations should be in Cloud with regards to clicking a field name in order to sort results? The screenshot below is in Material/Services (Project Definition). I clicked Supply Option and it sorted by this field (confirmed by the up-pointing carat) but we were process testing in Receipts earlier today and clicking fields in the header didn’t appear to work. My colleague and I have encountered this in other screens too. I’m hoping it should be available view/application-wide …?? Thanks!Linda

Community,Trying to set up ZPL printer in IFS, and follow a poster to set up in Application Server Task, but I cannot see job type “PrintAgent” in Job type drop down list. question:why we cannot see this PrintAgent job type? if we need to install Print Agent, where to install? IFS application server or end user client? should PrintAgent is mandatory? our company seems like never install PrintAgent before, we still can print report via network printer.Thank you.

Hello, We have been using the IFS Enterprise Explorer (EE) windows client for many years and more recently in our Apps 10 set up with much success. However, a move towards to use any device means that the majority of our staff will be using Chromebooks and we have been making the transition to the IFS Aurena (non windows) user interface. In EE UI our config includes many custom fields that have been added to assist the business. Can someone please advise how to take the existing custom fields created in EE to the Aurena set up?This would help ensure all of the good work done with customisations can continue with limited issuesto system users.Thanks in advance.Des

Hello,We are in the beginning stages of planning our move for our on-prem VMs to Azure.It will be costly to carry over the same configuration for our DB and middleware server and keep them up 24/7. This instance of IFS is mainly used for reference by Finance or Operations and by only a couple users.Are there any issues with powering off the VMs, lowering their assigned resources and powering them back on?Are there any additional steps needed specifically around IFS?
