Deprecation of the FTP and Shared repository types in Docman in 24R1 - a heads-up This is a heads-up on IFS deprecating support for the FTP and Shared repository types in Docman in IFS Cloud 23R2, for complete removal in 24R1.If you have customers using these two repository types today, you should plan for migrating to Database or File Storage.If you are planning to implement this in Remote Deployment in IFS Cloud right now, you should reconsider, and use File Storage or Database.In Remote deployment, File Storage will still have support for local/external storage (outside the database) by supporting SMB/network shares. Hello,in IFS Cloud 22R2, we have a property called ‘Editable Function’ in the Page Designer. I believe using this property, we can include conditions/parameters based on which the field will be marked either as Editable or Read-Only. But currently, it doesn’t allow us to add any conditions. Hello,For one of our Remote IFS Cloud 23R2 Customers, we are trying to setup SMB storage. The SMB share was created by the Customer’s IT team and we are trying to configure the parameters in the ifscloud-values.yaml file by following the guide. ( https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/23r2/070_remote_deploy/400_installation_options/120_file_storage_for_remote/122_installation_guide/#activating_file_storage_service) The MTinstaller is successful but the ifs-file-storage pod is stuck at Init State. I thought its from Company details > Offices, but the work mobile isn’t a part of it. Dear Team!Based on the user creation process in IFS Cloud.Using the standard screen, it is possible to deactive the Create Person option. For a customer, the users will be created via SCIM.Thus, it is not possible to somehow untick this during creation. Persons should not be created. By default this is set to enabled There is no System parameter to define this setting. In former IFS Releases, you may skip the Person Details and this resultet in no person being created.Can this be achieved with SCIM as well? If yes, please state how. Hi, Can anyone help with below queries ? User is trying to connect an equipment object to a document revision, whether object ID has period sign.Error raised and cannot connect the object.“Invalid use of data delimiter in object type EquipmentObject.If one of the values contains a period, you can use a comma, semicolon, or colon as a delimiter instead.” Question 1: Is there any specific reason as to why period sign needs to be avoided ? Question 2: Then as a workaround, if you connect the object using objects tab in the document revision form, object description is not displayed until you save the record. (However the object can be connected without getting the delimiter error).Is this something that should be corrected, so that user can see the description, before saving the record ? Hi Team Greetings We have 2 MCPR transactions on which we are unable to transfer cost to customer company. When we create new transactions and transfer the cost on that projects everthing works fine.Only 2 transactions are stuck. We compared with other transactions which are working fine, everything looks fine with transactions in error. Still it gives error in background job as “Notice the background job has ended with an Error “No transactions to create cost accounting for ORA-20110: PrelInvoicePosting.NOACCTRANS” What can be the reason for it? Is it a bug?
Hi,We are using IFS10 update 15.Basic setup is so, that we have warehouse in different site than manufacturing is. Customer orders are entered to warehouse site and MS level 1 part is active in warehouse site. If there is a need to manufacture more to warehouse, system creates Distribution order to manufacturing site. Also purchase order and customer order between the sites are created automatically. In manufacturing site, they create Shop Order and then they do ’backwards pegging’. Sometimes, there is that situation that DO receipt date is two weeks ahead but production has possibility to produce earlier (SO need date is earlier than DO receipt date) → when they do ‘backward pegging’ correctly to SO, Why DO date is not changing ? If manufacturing is later than original DO receipt date, then DO date is updated correctly..

Hi, When I try to build transformer model file, I’m getting this below mentioned MAVEN dependency error. 21r2, using Chrome and with Aurena Agent installed, I find that the “eye” preview icon on a document attachment opens a PDF in the browser, whereas if i go to the document and click “View” i get the standard docman download to local checkout path.What’s the reason for the difference?Is there a way to get the eye/in-browser preview elsewhere?Preview in browser:

Hi, We are facing an issue with final year end process:When we proceed the final year end process, there is some transactions with amounts in GL in the accounting currency (EUR), the currencies amounts (in original currencies) and the parallel currency (EUR too).When we generate the final voucher YE - for closure and opening of the new period, it doesn’t take into account the amounts in currencies (original currencies) for some accounts only.For example: Accountability in EURO Currency amount Parallel Curr (Euro) GL sum amounts 0 61 K 0 Gral Bal sum amounts 0 0 0 YE sum amounts 0 53 K 0 We analysed and saw that some accounts they are not fecthed in the YE voucher so there is no amounts in currency amount for them.In BG -> there is no discrepancies, because the accounts not fetched in the YE process have zero amounts in currencies. It sum up zero.in GL analysis, we can see the gap between the all period (sum of all currencies amounts : 61K ) and the YE v
Background:We at Electrolux implementing IFS FSM as our Field Service Management platform including FSM Mobile App for Field Service Technicians. Currently using FSM6u10. Requirement: I, as a service technician, want to be able to record spare parts I consumed/used on a consumer/customer site by simply scanning the barcode on the spare part packet, instead of manually typing the long 14 digits part id.Questions: Is the FSM Mobile App only supporting the Barcode Scanning functionality with a 3rd party free open source app for Android? Since the 3rd party app is no longer supported by original developers, how in future IFS would provide warranty support for the 3rd party open-source app since FSM product documentation doesn't specify if the 3rd-party software is supported i.e., maintenance support covered by IFS in case of product upgrades, android upgrades, etc. so to ensure the barcode scanning functionality continue to work. Hi, We are assessing the compatibility of IFS Applications 10 (Update 11) with Windows 11.It was observed that when the IFS EE Link Handler extension is enabled in MS Edge, the ClickOnce link is not functioning, i.e., the application is not getting downloaded upon clicking on the ClickOnce link. Our users get this error message when using lobbies that are connected to forms/tbws . This appears every day, sometimes several times a day for some users. We tried to look in to this and the answer we got from the end users is that it could have something to do when many work on the same lobby simultaneously OR that the lobby wasn´t updated which means that the information somewhere in the lobby is old. We also got from our users that it appeared at the same time during the day (for example around 10 a clock).
Hi everybody, I would like to import an external customer payment and match the information with an invoice by creating a mixed payment. Basic data : Create a template Create a Payment Format ID ; Create Payment Method and set payment method per institute and external payment parameters When we do that we can import correctly the CSV file and this file will be generated in the path menu External Payments : When i check the detail i don't have a matching with the invoice and i miss the information If someone know the setting to do? Every time I log into IFS Community my password is not accepted.. I am able to reset it, by following the reset password link. The problem is when i come back later (short or long period of time), the password is ‘wrong’ again. This happens EVERY time, and I am positively sure that I enter it correctly. :-(
