Hi,Anyone else patched their servers recently and had KB5035855 installed?It’s been installed on our Test and Live Mobile servers, and after installation, the device fails to fully completed an initialisation. Get stuck on the image below. As you can see it says the process has ended, but the device just spins.I uninstall the KB and restart the server. The moment that happens the process completes fully. Therefore, just wondering if this is known at IFS and if others have had a similar issue too? Cheers Ady
Hi,We have a request from a customer to enable traditional Chinese in IFS Cloud for for both Aurena and MWO. I know this is not listed as a supported language by IFS in IFS Cloud but we looking in to all possible options and solutions to the issues we have seen atm after enabling. After enabling Transitional Chines(through BP) and handling relevant translations, we could see translations properly in Aurena client with 23R2. But With the WMO, we see some discrepancies. Translations works fine using Android phone but not using iPhone(13). How we handle this? Since this is not a translation supported by IFS in IFS Cloud, will it be possible to get a solution (at least a workaround) to cater customer requirement for iPhone(13).Any advise or information is much appreciated! But the problem is, during initialization of the PLSQLAP Document, I have to give a name. Hello everyone,Does anyone know how to write the URL to properly apply the filter “Cost Invoice” for invoices in the posting proposals window? When I press my lobby element I want to list only invoices with this specific status message. This is the filter I want applied to the lobby element. Current setup:The lobby data source is very basic and only lists invoices in with the above status and their invoice no. The lobby data element url counts the different invoices and lists them as a counter - also very basic. Currently the Web Access URL looks like this:‘page/PostingProposals/List?searchcontext=MessageId:$MESSAGE_ID$’but it dosen’t filter out the cost invoices, it shows everything in the posting proposals window - its like the filter parameter is not properly triggered. Initially we tried with the “filter” parameter instead of the “searchcontext” one but we had no luck with that one either and now we’ve run out of ideas.Can any of you smart guys help with this?
Hi! So let me explain my problem. I want to be able to register a gender on person. Normally I would do this by configuring a Entity field on the PersonInfo view. However, in IFS Cloud this view is blocked for custom entities so I've thought the following work around:I've made a complete new Custom Entity called CPersonGender with 2 fields Person_ID - Persistent - String(100) Gender - Persistent - Enumeration I created a custom projection on Personhandling and linked this Entity to the Person Added the Entity on the page as a group Once I configure the binding however, the drop down list for Gender is unusable since no record is linked to the person_ID yet. How can I make the group Create a record if no record is present yet?

When we save a business reporter generated file to a shared location it initially runs fine then users begin to get to see a message that looks like this: “The process cannot access the file:’Z:\Test Reports\business_reporter_example.xlsx’ bause it is being used by another process.” We have checked the file is not open and ensured the locations used are listed in the Trust center locations. Has anyone else encountered this issue and/or have fix?
Hi Everyone,I was wondering if anyone has been able to display the Section-Unit Manager as a default value in a customizer form. We want to have certain forms, not only be assigned to certain managers, but have those manager’s names be displayed on the form itself.So for example, if a form needs Director approval, we use:$new.affectedUser.department.section.branch.division.manager.shortCodeif a form needs Divisional Manager approval:$new.affectedUser.department.section.branch.manager.shortCode if a form needs Middle Manager:$new.affectedUser.department.section.manager.shortCodeBut for Section Unit, we have a problem...(Branch Unit and Section Unit are the same thing… not sure why a “label” was used)The section unit is that weird concatenation of section_sc and branch_sc, so we are not sure on how to get the correct “Default Value Expression” to populate the field with the Section Unit Manager, or if it’s even possible.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Kris
I have been working for several months to upgrade our databases from 12c to 19c, but I am stuck on a particular issue that I cannot seem to resolve. I chose the manual method (expdp/impdp) as this is what is endorsed by IFS and recommended by the consultants. Hi, When we are opening a window in IEE for the first time, it often hangs for some time when checking for deployment location (See picture below). I found a similar post regarding the same issue, but I dont fully understand the given solution.Our build_home consists of only Core IFS without our customizations. In order to add our customizations, we build a delivery using the build.cmd script and then install the delivery on our IFS instances. The solution says that we should run a clean build through msbuild.cmd, but the msbuild.cmd is part of the build.cmd script. Should we run the complete build.cmd script by using the clean property when we are building the delivery? Or could we run build.cmd without running msbuild.cmd, and then run msbuild.cmd afterwards using the same delivery location? Should the generated delivery fix the problem once we install it?We are currently running IFS10 update11.

We are receiving an unhandled security checkpoint error. This is on attached approval processes when using an approval template. So in the example below, it is on an Inventory part. It also happens on a Supplier for Purchase part as another example. However, it does not happen for any of our document approvals within the document revision screen. I did see another post that recommended going to system parameters and turning the Security checkpoint framework available off and then on again….but this did not correct our issue.

When scheduling an IFS Operational report like the MC Customer Ledger Detailed Age Analysis which has a date parameter that’s typically set to today’s date (Date of Analysis), is it possible to increment the date with each run in Aurena 22R Cloud environments? In IEE, the use of #TODAY# in the parameter is allowed. This allows the parameter to increment with each scheduled run. In Aurena 22R Cloud, when choosing “Today” on the calendar, the current date is populated and continues to be the date that the scheduled report uses when it runs. Is there a workaround for this when scheduling Out-of-the-Box IFS Operational reports?
