This will be somewhat scatter brained because I’m unsure where to start. We’re using Apps9. Currently, our system is driving purchasing and shop order reqs with start dates in the past. this makes sense to me if we’re trying to meet a certain date for production due to sales orders etc based on the (poor) information we’re feeding the system, but obviously I cannot or produce order something to arrive in March if it’s already April. Moreover, it doesn’t appear that MRP or Master Scheduling is cleaning up these back dated reqs. Clearly step one is fix the bad data, but which besides lead times? I know I need to clean this information up, but it’s unclear where - these reqs are sitting in either a proposalcreated or planned status. Any guidance on how to eat this elephant would be appreciated - it seems wholesale deleting them is an option, but given the amount of clean up utilities and other functions within IFS, that seems in-congruent with the way the rest of the system works.

If we add new posting control in IP3 with code part as currency, control type as country code. Still it does not work.Have any one seen such issues earlier?
Hi all,IFS Cloud/PSOI was wondering what are the configurations/basic data to Schedule automatically with PSO in IFS CLOUD.Are there any committ rules on IFS CLOUD as well? Currently the flow I am running is as follows:1. Creation of Request creation and subsequent task2. Task allocation thanks to PSO3. Dispatch clicking button "assign" to validate/modify PSO scheduling on DC Console4. Dispatch clicking "Transfer to Mobile" to send it to the resource on the mobile 5. The flow continues in the standard way thanks to the MWO Service. Is there any way to automatically validate the scheduling done by the PSO without the Dispatcher clicking Assign on every task (ex: the night before/after every hour)? I was thinking Commit rules or a Job?From my tests, Assign is important to generate the Work Assigment and to allow the "Complete" status on the MWO to update the status from Work Start to Work Done. Am I doing something wrong?

The External Voucher Assistant requires a Company to be entered. and the External File Template does not contain Company There was some chat that this was possible, but not sure if this was correct or before IFS CLoud.Cheers,Graham
Hello. I am trying to set up SMTP for the first time in ifs. Here is my configuration Port 587 Host: smtp.office365.comSSL/Start TLS: both set to onFrom Display name: MynameFrom: my own company email address (just to test)Reply to Display name: MynameReply To: my company email addressEnvelope Form: my company email address I have auth on and typed in my company email address and password. After configuring this i go to an account i created within IFS and expire and reset the password to try and generate and email but nothing ever comes through. I am not sure how to fix this or even to make sure that the actual app is generating an email to send. I have tried a combination of different things such as turning off auth and ssl/tls in every different way. I even put in my personal gmail account to try and make it just send me an email. None have resulted in any kind of communication. Thanks,Blake

Hi Community,One of our customer has a requirement for document sign where they need to get the quotes signed by the customer online.I am aware that in document management we have the functionality to get the approver signature on the document but here the customer doesn’t have access to IFS.So, we are thinking of integrating with document sign software like DocuSign, Adobe etc.Could anyone share their experience with this regard and suggest which document sign application will be best suited to integrate with IFS.Looking forward for the suggestions & feedbackRegards,Mithun K V
How do you handle responses to/from users on Tasks? We don’t have the Advanced Event Monitoring license for our users, but we have many processes that involve sub tasks, such as a user termination workflow. When our workers process those tasks, they may try sending a message to the affected user for more info, etc. Of course, the affected user cannot respond to the ticket via AssystNet. How does your team handle this for those that do not have Advanced Event Monitoring enabled?
We are using IFS Cloud 23R2 SU4.When we use Repository ‘File Storage’, we have noticed that the file name uploaded to the Windows share repository appears to have been encrypted and differs from what was uploaded by the user.If we check through the application and look at the database tables, there is no mention of this file name.Previously using FTP repository in Apps 10, it would store the file with a name like 3001-2279139-1-REV00-1See below snip shows 1st record uploaded from Cloud (File Storage) vs others from Apps 10 (FTP): Do we know what is causing this and if this is a security feature that could be turned off?
I get the error “The shipment order line object has been removed by another user” when I try to connect these below lines from Available order lines to the shipment lines.. There are lot of other lines from the same customer order and with the same status and they got attached to this shipment. But the above lines gives me this error. Any idea what could be wrong ? P.S. I already tried adding a separate shipment and connecting these lines, still the same error

There is a really useful menu item on the mobile in the screen designer - to do a refresh of the scripts from the server to the mobile client.Is there anyway to access this in any other way (without the users being studio license holders). At the moment we have to re-initialize their devices which is rather more intrusive than we’d like. Is there any other way of doing this?
Hi,I use IFS Cloud (Application service update: 23.2.1).I create a new file type in the EDM basic data. This is for the .stp Extension (3D Files from CAD)Then I use this new file type when creating a new document revision. When I try to approve the revision, I have this message :“The number of PDF files and/or the combination of view and original files on this document is invalid for PDF signature and certification. If you are an end-user, talk to your system administrator. If you are calling this API from code, check your data or consider using the more specific method to sign your PDF file.”This file type is not PDF so I don’t want (and I can’t) use e-sign for this file.I use several document class to test and the result is the same.If I use a already created file type, this OK, I can validate it without any problems. We need to keep track on when someone access our system with IFSAPP or IFSADMIN user.We created event on FND_CLIENT_LOGON_TAB and and it works fine when logging in as IFSAPP but for some reason there is no entry in this table when logging in with user IFSADMIN so event does not trigger on IFSADMIN user.Does anybody know what the reason for this could be??
Good day community.We have a client that is implementing Cloud and need to migrate 10 000 plus documents from legacy, along with their existing document numbers.In Apps 10 it was possible to upload multiple files at once using the File Import screen. On here it was possible to change the document number to a legacy number when uploading new files In Cloud I believe the same can be done using Create Documents.However, it allows me to create documents and to enter Legacy Numbers but once I save, it returns this error: If I leave the number column blank, it generates the documents without issue, using the automatic numbers, which we don’t want. This is not Document Class related as the Create Document Assistant and creating Documents via Revisions allows me to change the number. The other option, Document Upload screen does not have an option to change the Document number. Is there something We’re missing or alternatively, how would we migrate the documents into Cloud using the legacy n
