Phantom part in shop order material lines created from project deliverable

Hi Ushan, Handling of phantom parts in a Shop Order which is originated from project deliverables is different to its handling in a manufacturing Shop Order. Even though the Phantom Part No is displayed on the manufacturing shop order material line for parts which have both planning methods K and P, in project deliverables originated shop order the Phantom part No is displayed for structures with Phantom parts which are planning method K (blow through) and are Std Planned Items. That is a designed behaviour which have been developed considering the usage of project deliverables and it has functional differences contrast to manufacturing. Hope this clarify your question. Regards,Peshala.

Serial number reservation lost when cancelling the supply request

Hi Dasuni,Serial reservation can be done for a deliverable item after creating the material plan and the reservation will be transferred to the supply as well. The design intention of reserving the serial number in material plan is to use the serial number in the material supply. Therefore, when cancelling the material supply the serial number is also get cancelled as there is no material supply for the part and at the same time this serial number cancellation enables the reserving of that serial number for another item in the structure. Regards,Peshala.

Manufacturing clocking's is calculated on the wrong date

Hi Elath, I too agreed with bjorn. If you looked into the labor class of employee, you will be able to observe the Use HR Schedule and also a Calendar ID might have been added. If you removed the Calendar ID and recreated the manufacturing clocking it will booked on the correct date! Regards,Peshala

Resource Group – Details not in sync (O&G Extension)

Hi Bhakthi, As per the user guide regarding replication I found that Resource cost elements should be replicated from onshore to offshore. But when it comes to project Cost it is not a replication entity currently. Hence for future developments you can add an idea with regard of project cost  Regards,Peshala.

Delete project estimate

also when you delete the estimate in copied activity below will be remaining which can be a bug in the system.

Delete project estimate

Hi Gayan, Please find the Outcome of from our latest UPD. Copy a project activity where you have some transactions. make sure to define a estimate for a cost element.  The newly created activity will have a value in the cost with the estimate value. ORA-20111: SubProject.FND_RECORD_NOT_EXIST: The Sub Project does not exist.

Hi Elath, Reason behind this error can be due to in satellite environment Project Access On check box is checked. To avoid this error as a workaround we can untick the Project Access check box in satellite environment before replicating the project roles. Regards,Peshala.

Hi Bhakthi,As per your question in MCPR flow normally when we create a credit Invoice from customer company correction and recreated transactions needs to be set to No, do not update project cost. Hence it would be good if you review technically why Do not update project cost has not been set in correction and recreated transactions. Also, as your considering revenue side even you credit the invoice it does not have any link to cost side. Hence it should not let you to transfer project cost accounting. Hope this clarify your question. Regards,Peshala.

Team member can give himself write permissions

Hi Bhanuka, It is the designed functionality and I have seen may customers do have this concern. Hence this will be a good functional enhancement in future releases.Below will be the results as per your question.1.            As mentioned in the test plan Project Manager will only be permit to enter this combination message appeared when following conditions are matched:                   Check if the access record is for all sub projects %                   Check if the logged in user is NOT APPOWNER                   Check if the logged in user (and the connected person) is NOT the project manager 2.            And also "You cannot perform this function because your user does not have access to the project or all the subprojects belonging to the project. The ‘Resource ID’ column in ‘Project Employee Allocation’ cannot be updated after saving a record

Hi Tharindu, Please find the Insight. When an employee allocation line is created it is linked to an existing resource planning line or, if a corresponding planning line does not exist, it creates one - either way it is linked to a resource planning line, the main reason for this is to always have the ability to track and have follow up at the Resource Group level within both Project Resource Planning and Resource Analysis. Trying to change the resource on the allocation changes the planning line and there are lots of scenarios where sometimes it might need to be attached to the same planning line (depending on the resource structure) whereas others it might need to be attached to a different planning line or create a completely new planning line. As these different scenarios are dependent on the individual requirements at the time there is no simple solution to this when editing, what is in effect, the identifier to the corresponding planning line, i.e. the Resource ID, that is why it

Shop order release issue

Hi Andryis, Issue here is that there will not auto fetch the structure revision in the SO detail tab if there are no buildable structure were created! Workaround would be adding structure revision ID manually in SO detail tab. Regards,Peshala.

How to use "Sub-Lot"

Hi Shou, Reserved lot/batch numbers can be split into sub lots if, for example, you need to split an order into multiple new orders. (Whenever you split an order for a lot-tracked part, you also must split the lot into sub lots.) Sub lots are simply further divisions of a lot or batch. The parent of a sub lot is called a master lot. A lot/batch may be a master to many sub lots, but a sub lot can have only one master lot/batch.Before you can split lots into sub lots, you must first set the part's sub lot rule to allow sub lots. You also can specify whether the part allows only one lot per production order or multiple lots per production order. (You define both of these rules in the Part record.)When you allow the system to create the lot/batch numbers for sub lots (such as when you use the Split Lot wizard), each sub lot's lot/batch number will contain the master lot's lot/batch number and a unique ID for the sub lot, separated by a colon. For example, let's say you have a part called B
