Hi,the quantity of the top item must be “1.”But of course you have the option to define the top item as "No material" and to enter the part with the quantity 2 as the first "component".
Hi Vasco Silva,Yes, this is standard behaviour. Otherwise IFS does not know which Cost-/Revenue Element should be used. IFS checks the posting control (in your case PRJI2) to find out the correct Revenue element. That is the same behavior for planned costs through demands, ressources etc. (Then posting controls for M1, M40, etc. must be defined.)Best RegardsPatrick
Hi,My Customer INIT faces the same problem. Case: Material gets installed via Workorder. It is not possible to use the same activity for this without changing the required date, because the material is logically available too late (at finish date, when installation should be finished...).At first we thought about 2 Activities. “A” as aquiring activity, “B” for installation via work orders. But our problem is that MWO can’t see (=use) the Material from activity “A”, which would mean we have to transfer the material to “B”.That’s not a good process. So we decided to use one activity and to set the “Offset” as soon as possible.RegardsPatrick
Yes, the field is not relevant for you ;)Resources can be planned in the project and work order. For example, if a resource group both performs a connected work order (and is thus scheduled in it) and performs activities as project time, the scheduling in IFS would be as follows:For example, if 20 hours are to be performed in the work order, and 10 hours of project time, the group will be scheduled with 20 hours in the work order and 30 hours in the project. The field ‘Remaining Planned Hours’ shows how many hours are planned as project time and should be assigned to an employee. 20 hours of the 30 planned hours are used by the work order. If only 10 hours were entered as planned in the project, then according to logic, no project time would be planned at all (and actually too little for the work order). This is because resource group can be used by both the project and the work order.
Hi Robert,It shows the amount of hours for the resource that is planned on the project activity and not planned on a connecting work order. The Calculation is: Planned Hours - WO Planned Hours. Your expectation is displayed in Tab “Resource Summary” in Field “Unallocated”.
Hi Erik,Is it to make sure if you need 5 named users also a file for 5 named users is send, and send only once => YesThe customer searched for an “official” variant to track it.RegardsPatrick
