Shop Floor Workbench - 'The Date Applied of the transaction can not be a future date' error when entering time

I logged a support ticket but somehow the issue resolved itself before IFS Support did anything in our environment.

IFS Apps 10 Enterprise Explorer - Shutting down randomly on our users

Hi @jamie.malangyaon , Batch_Sys.Fnd_Heavy_Cleanup_ - Heavy Cleanup is a scheduled cleanup job which must run once a night. (Usually scheduled to run at 12 Midnight). The job will remove data from Print Jobs, Archived Print Jobs, History log data, Scheduled Tasks and Event messages. This job shouldn’t be scheduled to run during the peak hours. Could you please check the time it has been scheduled. Aurena - Expand columns to shows multi line records in tables

Hi @bdoucette, Hmm, we haven’t encountered the issue where 1 user is unable to use the button. Is the user able to see the button? If so, do they get an error or does nothing happen? Thanks,Jamie M.

Projection for Custom LU created by IFS

@SaraCrank Go to the Custom Logical Unit screen, not the Custom Fields screen and see if the Create Projection box is there. Solution Manager>User Interface>Custom Objects>Custom Logical Unit. If it’s also not there, right click on the page and navigate to Properties/Layout and see if the Create Projection box is ticked. If it’s there but not ticked, check the Use customized screen layout box at the top left and then tick the Create Projection box. Hi Tracy, No luck - This LU is not in the Custom Logical Unit screen because it is an LU that is part of a MOD from IFS. However, I found it in the Logical Unit screen but there is no checkbox on the screen to ‘Create Projection’ and the checkbox is not in the Properties/Layout window. Thanks,Jamie M.

Aurena - Using a custom RMB from IEE to open a filtered Aurena Page

Hi Charith, Thank you for your reply and the reference to the documentation! The ?$filter=Cf_Person_Id eq {$PERSON_ID} and ?$filter=Cf_Person_Id%20eq%20{$PERSON_ID} did not work but through trial and error I figured out that Aurena has a different way of passing parameters through their URL so I tweaked it a bit. I had to use this at the end of my Aurena URL: ;$filter=Cf_Person_Id eq '{&PERSON_ID}' I wouldn’t have been able to figure this out without your reply. Thanks again!

Aurena - Setting up a lobby as a homepage and specific navigation tree links

Found out the answers to my questions through IFS Support:There is no way to set up the homepage as a lobby AND have the navigation tree show specific sub links rather than the lobby overview. There is no way to set up a group of users homepage to a lobby, it needs to be done individually. Our work around was to set up the start up page as the lobby link for each individual user through their user profile in IEE (copy and paste the homepage value in each user’s profile)

Aurena - Top Navigation forward and back arrows disappeared

Found out that the arrows toggle depending on the size of the screen. When the user uses full screen on the desktop, the arrows will appear.

Aurena - Some fields do not stay in the Search Header after signing in and out

Hello Jamie, I believe this is the expected functionality, whenever you sign out from IFS and log back in, if you visit any page previously visited (on another day), it will display no added filters from the More drop down than the original ones. I had checked with IFS and they also confirmed that the added fields from the More drop down aren’t supposed to stay after you have logged out and back in. I did find a work around to create a saved search with specific fields at the header and made it a start-up behavior.

Aurena - Lobby element working in IEE but does not work in Aurena

Not 100% sure why this worked but I simplified my data source SQL to use my custom lu table once and now the element works as intended in Aurena:STATE = 'Confirmed'AND &AO.CUST_ORD_CUSTOMER_API.GET_SALESMAN_CODE(CUSTOMER_ID) IN ((NVL(UPPER('$Sales_0$'),(SELECT clu.CF$_SALESMAN_CODE FROM &AO.AURENA_SALESPERSON_RECORD_CLV clu WHERE clu.CF$_PERSON_ID = '#PERSON_ID#'))),(NVL(UPPER('$Sales_1$'),'')),(NVL(UPPER('$Sales_2$'),'')))

Aurena - Lobby element working in IEE but does not work in Aurena

@ShawnBerk Thank you for your answer but I can confirm that we granted the Aurena Permission sets access to the lobby element, data source and custom lu view that I call in my data source. I’m starting to wonder if it is reading my dollar sign from my custom field name as a parameter rather than a name of the column - even though I did not include it within single quotations.

Aurena Attachment Panel Permissions - No access

The issue was caused by specific missing projections. I was able to find the projections that were throwing the error by using the Debug Log Window and creating the error again. I checked the Requests that caused the error and found the projections in the URL. I added the projections that were in the requests and I no longer get this permissions error.

Custom Field Default value stopped populating for new records

@Charith Epitawatta the LUs are synced and I recently created another custom field check box with a FALSE default but when I get users to test, it still defaults to NULL. I had to create an event that triggers when a new BO has been created and if the custom check box is null, set it to FALSE. The event works but I would imagine it will be a hassle to keep creating these events.

@Anna Hmm, ya I’m stuck on this one. I’ve logged a Ticket with IFS but they have not confirmed if this is a bug or if I’m missing something. Hopefully I’ll get an answer soon and be able to post an answer here.

@Dilini Arandara Thank you for your reply! hmm, I can’t seem to find the projection DocReferenceObjectAttachmentHandling. This could be because we don’t have IFS Cloud and I had mistakenly added the tagged ‘IFS Cloud’ label for this post. Is there an alternative option for users using Apps10?

Customer order credit card activity reoccurring transactions

@mpmhoco Thanks for the reply! This issue was resolved because we found that the credit card settings for our production environment copied over into one of our test environments, so we turned it off and we are no longer having this issue.

Is there documentation or a list of Entry's anywhere for User Profiles in IEE?

I see what you are saying, I spoke with my System Support Specialist right before I saw your reply and she definitely feels the same way. Aurena - Expand columns to shows multi line records in tables

It doesn’t seem that there is a way to get the pop up to show up similar to a regular field but I was advised to enable the multiline option when editing the field in Page Designer. This creates a button beside the record that will trigger a pop up to show the whole text field:The icon that is added after enabling the Multiline. Once clicked, there will be a pop up that displays the full text.
