@Frank WeberHi Frank,Did you get a solution/workaround for this issue? In the meantime, I raised an IFS Support Case for the exact same situation. Appearently it’s not a bug. In short, the Flex Break Rule is within the second half day and causes the differences. Hi @Anny Pianta ,We have checked the issue with the product experts and below is the explanation for the reported behaviour. When registering a half day of absence for the second half of the day, the time, when the absence starts needs to be calculated. If a flexible break is defined, which will be within the absence period (assuming the definition of the day type), then this flexible break will be considered when calculating the absence start time. The difference between Time Card and Absence exists because the Time Card will consider the flexible break based on the registered intervals. If we only have a half day of absence registered, there will be no flexible break deducted (as the absence duration is not within the break peri
Hi Maria,Thanks, I forgot about this… 😀The issues I had with another customer with this solution were, that this option split the absence period into days in the view Absence and disconnected the Absence Request. I understand the thought behind the unlinked Absence Request. However, if the employee took 2 weeks of vacation, the system will split the absence into 14 entries in the view Absence - which can be confusing for the end user…Well, in the end it works. So, thank you!KR,Anny
Hi @Magnus Johansson, Thanks for your reply and thoughts. This is very helpful!I suggested the same, just starting with the job titles and minimal information. Or start with the job on company level and do the global harmonization as a second step. However, it seems to be a more “political” thing…The future development and integration possibilties are very strong arguments to do the homework with the Jobs before building something up with the Profiles. Furthermore, they are already planning the upgrade to Cloud, so it just makes sense.Again, thank you very much!Kind regards,Anny
Hi, Do you still have this issue? Have you tried to change the Flexible Work Time to ‘According to Day Type’?KR, Anny
Hi @Thomas Peterson I was just wondering, what happens if the person who created the IL left the company. How would you handle such a situation? Thanks for your advice. KR,AnnyYou actually ansered it already, IFSAPP…. :) Thanks anyway!
Dear @EntLihinP and @Eranda ,Many thanks for your feedback! It worked 🤓 with the ‘Structured Payment’ Checkbox and the payment reference validation setup in the company. Very happy now 😆!! Have a great start into the week!KR, Anny
Hi all, Short update on this case:There is a bug the assistant “New Employment” when an onboarding template is assigned to the new employee. The Emails just do not get triggered. There is a fix coming in Apps10 UPD17. The Event NOTIFY_ONBOARD_TASK_COMMENT gets triggered when entering a comment in the Follow-Up step. KR, Anny
@Rcoubrou @Trine @Adam Mazurczak Hi all, Thanks for your input! It worked now and I’m very happy 😁!Have a wonderful day Anny
Hi @MariaN, Would it be possible to share the Case or Solution ID so I can forward this to our TPC? A client is facing the same issue… This would be great!Kind regards, Anny
Hi all, A quick update about my ongoing investigations: As in 90% of the cases, the problem was a missing setup: the communication method for the employee must be set as default After activating the check box for the communication method email, I could generate the email via event&action (described above) - very happy at this point :) Now, a new issue appeared: I could trigger all required event&actions except for one: I fear this might be a bug. The event ID and description refer to a task comment. However, on Aurena there is no column or functionality called “Comment” as far as I know. Instead there is a column called “Remarks”. Has anyone achieved to trigger an action with this event? Or does anyone know about another comment functionality for the onboarding tasks than the column remarks? Thanks for any help :) KR, Anny
Hi Karolina, Many thanks for your feedback! This view already helps me - I found the events with status failed. At least this is the next step where I can investigate. Thank you !Kind Regards, Anny
