remove company from database

Assuming this is a new company which has not been connected to any transactions or any functional activities, instead of directly deleting from the database, could you please go into the company detailed level and delete any information there first ? Ex: localization information, address information etc. After clearing out the detailed information, try to delete the company record again.

As far as I know, we can only filter the 1st main level since we’ll be using the page URL to communicate filtering values.

Report on Access to Database Task and Scheduled Task

This is not a straightforward SQL method, but more like a workaround I used for a similar instance. We can use the ‘new permission sets’ window, to search users who have access to those mentioned windows There are actually 3 windows in the navigator for ‘Database Tasks’ & ‘Scheduled Database Tasks’ together. For them I believe permissions are granted under activities ManageTasks, TaskScheduling and TaskScheduling2. So, populate any permission set in the ‘New permission set’ window -> go to ‘Activities’ tab -> search ManageTasks under ‘Find Activity’ and click Find.Then click on the ‘ManageTasks’ result, it will direct to the activity name ‘ManageTasks’ with a checkbox.Click ‘right mouse button’ on it -> ‘Show Grantees’ – this will list down all the permission sets which have access to this activity. Then Search one of the permission set in the ‘New Permission Set’ window, click the ‘Show Users granted this’ link in top right corner - this will list down users who have acce

Lobby Shortcut

If the requirement is to add a lobby shortcut, you can simply load the lobby, then RMB in the shortcut panel and lick Add → Current Page - ok.

Background job error

Hi @Nagarjuna , as per the error, one possible reason could be that process is trying to insert/update a record which is a duplicate to existing record. So if you have database access, try to add 2 insert & update triggers to the table INTFACE_JOB_DETAIL_TAB table to capture the primary key columns (intface_name, line_no) and also to print the call stack (dbms_utility.format_call_stack) of the execution path.Afterwards re-execute the background job, then you should get the trigger output. Based on that it should be possible to technically track down the root cause which is causing this issue.

Some tabs in the "Client" screen are not displayed

Hi @TheoB, for one of those users, try disabling personal profile and base profile separately from the create user window (Attached an example). If disabling a particular profile worked, then the issue is with a corrupted profiler node - which you will need to clear out afterwards. Please check.

Hi @DaveNorman, haven't encountered with such a functionality under Query builder. But you can do so via ‘SQL Query tool’ and ‘Quick report’, please check and confirm.

Time Clock Error

Hi @ekavang , Employee status could also be one of the reasons for this error. For the 2 employees, in the employee window please check the employee status code - it should be active status code.

How can I make only the selected text bold in Report Designer?

Hi @ertan.ari , This might not be the ideal solution, but more like a workaround. In report designer, if you insert a label text, then you can select it and make it bold as shown in the screenshot. So we could break your text into 3 sections (3 labels) and then bold only the relevant section in the middle of the sentence...

Efficient way to terminated multiple employees

Hi @KKSloane, I would not recommend you to do it via a backend direct data modification. Because employment termination is not just a state change, it could be updating multiple tables with multiple records. Therefore if you missed to update a single location then it might trigger future additional issues - data integrity could be harmed. So if there is no standard mechanism for Apps9 version, best option would be to go for a customized modification by your development organization, so that you can do it from the application itself.

Hi @KKSloane , you can navigate to ‘Employees’ window and search the selection of the employee list. Then RMB and click ‘Terminate Employment’. Then proceed with the dialog box which is opening afterwards.

Blank pages on customer order lines

Hi @eqbstal , To rule out any profile related issues, please navigate to the ‘create user’ window, search your user and disable any personal and base profiles allocated. Then refresh server cache and re-log in to the application and see the result. If it is related to the profiles, afterwards you can enable the profiles, and go in-depth to the corresponding profile and clear any existing corrupted profiler nodes. Will add more information on how to do it if needed.

Hi @mbarnes, This error usually occurs when we have identical names in the ‘Alias’ section under the columns - but seems like your alias values are unique to each other. Please try changing the ‘Type’ section of the count records as Text - just to monitor the behavior.
