IP13, IP14, AP10, AP11 where do they get triggered

additional infoas soon as you enter the voucher company…the system creates a IP13 on the base company... and a voucher type D which goes to the affilited company

additional info:for AP10 and AP11There is a mutli company voucher entry. In the below example AP11 will get triggered for the first line. AP11 is a liability account. AP10 is a asset account.

Hello @bytsophan I am suspecting 3 possible issues. Can you please check If you have GL automatic posting rule for 433005 account. GL update routine may return the error You have project on the line. See If you have GP3 posting control using capitalization account as 151401 I don’t see if you have period allocation or not. If you do, check GP2 posting control. Voucher gets not posted into Internal ledger

Long shot, but have you assigned users the IL MAX authority class? Hi CynthiaYes i did enter SOME users to this window and also the MAX authority class but not all finance users are entered here. neverthless if a user creates a general ledger and the user is not here defined, then the voucher should go into some kind of approval status but not disapearing into the nirvana correct? or does ifs just not create the internal ledger ?

external supplier invoice document gets not transferred

Hi Experts I am using the ifs cloud 23R2. i try to import an external supplier invoice including the attachment (PDF file) into IFS. Either the external supplier invoice nor the posting proposal has an attached document. does anyone have an idea where else to look or have a hint what else to try? When i check the application message i see that both files were imported correctly: this is the routing adress setup for the document and for the xml file the routing roule for pdf file the routing rule for xml file in the external supplier invoice document files gets imported but stays in status loaded when i check the corresponding external supplier invoice and i click on attachement… ...i see that the invoice attachment gets recognized if i compare to a system which works (22R2) i dont have an attachment but I have different button “View Local File” and the imag file status has a status of “document not CheckedIN. and I also have a Imag File Name. in Both system th

PDF is not opening: Upload a PDF in External Supplier Invoice Document Files Using a reader.

We are using a shared databased. Thanks for you re answer. Ivi Hi had the same issue. So i setted up an FTP and all of a sudden it worked. That means the reader had to access an FTP server instead of a File server

@bytsophan we did not get a solution for this therefore built our own work around. Using the “paymentTermsFreeText” field we are populating our alternate remit address and payment method to be entered in position one and two. Then we’ve built a custom event to update this in the installment plan once it’s in the posting proposal form. It’s working well. We are a CAD company that deals with non deductible tax codes which is also not handled in the XML file so added that in this field as well using position 3 and 4 (therefore in sample below the amounts you see are taxes separate by semicolon). Not ideal to have these “hacks” but on this version for now anyhow, we are stuck. At least it automates it for us. Hi Rcoubrou Perfect thanks for the detailed workarround solution. Supplier external invoice upload in xml format

Hi, with the xml an account information can be transferred. BUT the account is “only” validated against the default account setup on the supplier. If I recall correctly it would not be able to pass another payment information even if it is available in supplier payment method basic data and is not default. OK, then you should check the settings of the supplier. In the xml file these tags are not available. hi Link Thanks for the answer. Yes afterwards i came across the same conclusion, that there is no TAG available for this.Unfortunately there is no solution in the supplier settings. You can create several payment adress for a supplier but need to choose the payment Method and Adress manually in the supplier invoice. Best RegardsSophal

For txt file types this works fine using the N type fields Payment Method and Payment Address. external supplier invoice cannot find the pdf file

Hi AllWe have now found an other solution. Our IT created a script where we first fetch the PDF file from the folder and move it to the in folder of IFS, in order to created the external supplier document first. then as a second step we move the XML file to the same folder. Before we move the xml, the script validates the PDF file name in the archive folder if its exists. Valdiation can only be performed if the PDF file and the XML File have the same name.

External Supplier Invoice Document Files - Blank PDF?

Hi all, I am importing the external supplier invoice’s image from .pdf -document, but this image seems to be empty/blank. I created a new Reader below: And I created a new Routing Rule aswell, which is connected to this Reader. (This is connected to a Example_Document_File_Import Routing Address): In Application Messages I can see .pdf successfully imported: When I open this “Input Message Data”, this pdf seems to be empty/blank. Original .pdf which were imported were not empty/blank. I can see this same empty/blank pdf-file in External Supplier Invoice Document Files -page also. When I use “Load File” -button in External Supplier Invoice Document Files -page, this .pdf is not imported as blank. This IFS Connect for some reason imports this .pdf as blank. I have tested also file formats .jpg and .tiff, but they did not seem to work at all. Do you have any idea why this pdf is imported as blank in IFS ? I am using 22R2 SU3 -version. Estimated Life format definition

Hello Say that your fixed asset has 5 years and 6 month lifetime. Then YYy MMm means 05y 06m and NNp means 66p. Basically, you type directly number of periods for lifetime. Hi, In IFS using weighted average cost - we have a concept often referred to as cascading cost or simply cascading. - Assume a shop order where the issued material was values at 100, and the shop order receipt is 200. Now assume the cost of the raw material from the shop order changed due to a supplier invoice. The true cost of that raw material is 110. The cascading will cause the issued part cost to change to 110 - causing the shop order cost to change and the resulting received part from the shop order will now be 210. Now assume that part was consumed on another part, that revised cost, then flows to that item. The system essentially is able to determine where the raw material was used and update the related cost due to the supplier invoice (10 increased) value. That process will open / close shop orders. Group Consolidation, Elimination of Interim results

Hi, I have come across this matter in most of the consolidation implementations and I seems that we have to enter an adjustment journal entry at the consolidation level to eliminate the ‘unrealized profit’. The reason why it is quite complicated to develop a automatic solution, is because the ‘unrealized profit elimination’ logic and the journal entry differs based on the entity relationship and ownership (e.g. parent-subsidiary) and also based on which entity ( parent/ subsidiary) will made the sale. Hi Typically, external file assistant supports common files like text and CSV. Before IFS Cloud, the XML was dropped into an inbox. and a different IFS process would pick that up and rout the message into the external invoice process. It does not use the external file assistance. Coud is different but similar. Sorry, I checked and don’t have a sample XML with code string information. My samples were for testing line level matching to PO lines with parts. I have external invoice samples with posting lines that are CSV / Text type examples that would be loaded via the external file / external supplier invoice assistant, just not the XML. Hi @bytsophan , Our shop orders are opened and closed by the system as well. We notice it because we see this background job “Close Open Shop Order from Transaction Revaluation” entry. IFS does this because a change in cost has occurred and IFS kicks off the job to recalculate the new costs. I’m betting your inventory part valuation method is set to “Weighted Average”. As long as you do not interrupt the background job the system should complete and any shop orders that were closed will be closed again. We’ve had discussions with IFS in the past and they assure us its behaving as intended.
