Hi, an alterative method you can utilize is the Premium MES integration APIs in Production Schedule Connector to receive Production Schedule Lines. Image from API explorer The Report Quantity API can be used to receive a qty. There are also APIs to fetch Production Schedule Line information if you want to validate or get the data. Hooking up a local middleware solution like NodeRed between your scanner and IFS cloud could give you a lot of options here. Hi Lukas, thank you for your time and sharing valid information!I would like to allow the customer to receive quantities without the need to access the terminal, so the configuration of the new WADACO process, or the method you have described, is for more detailed consideration.Appreciate your insights (and quick responses), colleagues! 😊
Hi @Björn Hultgren , thank you for your answer! Is there any pre-prepared WADACO process to receive Kanban, or does it need to be configured? I only found the “KANBAN_REPLENISHMENT_REQUEST”. Is it always necessary to receive only the predefined amount of Kanban, or am I able to change it during the receipt? Thanks!
Hi, very good question, we are currently dealing with the same thing, do you have any feedback on the solution? Any observation will help, thank you, David.
Hi @Nick Whiting When you create an inventory part type with any part type except Purchased (Raw), a routing head and structure head are automatically created in the background. Once created, the routing head and structure head cannot be deleted. So, you can change part types between Manufactured and Purchased or you can change from Purchased (Raw) to either Manufactured or Purchased, but you cannot change from Manufactured or Purchased to Purchased (Raw). A new part number will need to be created. Hope this helps! Hi, in IFSAPP10 is possible also delete structure and routing head, until heads are = Buildable state, so if you find that the part type is incorrectly set, and still in state = Tentative, it is possible to delete heads and afterwards change part type from Manufactured → Purchased (Raw).
Hi Cameron, thank you for your answer, unfortunately the link is not working for me, saying “The content may have been removed.”Could you please try to share that video again, or could you explain (in short) those three settings? Not sure if my question has been understood, because I have of course serial tracking activated (down in the realized structure), and I understand that this is the main prerequisite to creating and storing the serial object structure, as an identification of "what was made of".Anyway, after further testing, I probably understand the first part of my question why the system can not offer an automatically produced serial number when parent item is set = PMRP, but what I still do not understand is why I can not retrieve a list of values (of serial numbers) in the Tags table, and why I need to use also Tags for identification, even if I have whole structure serial tracked.Best Regards, David
Hi @davidnovikov, If I understood your issue correctly, reserved quantity is not being transferred as expected isn't it? If so, can you please check the description of the RnD bug id 143944? Hi @Nalaka Samarasinghe , I have read the mentioned bug with ID 143944 and it is not the same situation as described above. Please, see the more detailed test procedure:Prerequisites: Purchase parts PUR1 and PUR2 have available QTY in the Project Inventory.1) Go to Project Deliverables Definitions window > Create a new Project Deliverable and connect to Project and Default Site.2) RMB on header > Project Deliverables Navigator3) Create a component structure like below (e.g.):3.1) Part No = MAN1, QPA = 13.1.1) Part No = PUR2, QPA = 13.1.2) Part No = PUR3, QPA = 14) Add an activity sequence for MAN1 in the Default tab.5) Select MAN1 from the Navigator > General tab > RMB/Status > Approve.6) Select the Part “MAN1” from Navigator > Materials tab > RMB/Generate Material Plans >
