When try to change a Delivery Address on a Project Invoice which is in Preliminary status , receive an error" Field(Tax Currency Rate Base) is mandatory for Project Invoice and requires a value".

Create supplier invoice automatically including charge amount on purchase order

When the Automated Invoicing functionality (Self- Billing) was implemented, Charges have been excluded on purpose, and only purchase order lines are considered in the self-billing invoices. This is due to the reason that it is not mandatory to include the charges with the order lines when invoicing.This has not been implemented due to the complexity of how the charges are handled in various scenarios such as invoicing for a different supplier, how the charges have been distributed etc.Further, If you check the help text given for the “Self-Billing” check box in purchase order line, it is as follows,“If this check box is selected, it indicates that self-billing is activated for this order line. It will be selected by default if self-billing has been activated for the supplier. Note: Self-billing can only be used with the ownership type Company Owned, except in the case of external service orders. When self-billing is enabled, the invoice is automatically created and matched in connectio

How to inactivate Customer records?

You can set a expire date in Customer->Order-> Misc Customer Info tab.However, we do not really have one way to expire a customer in the application, so even if you enter an expired date in the Order tab, you can still create manual or instant invoices against the customer.For the invoicing scenario, we have a separate Inactive Date in the Customer->Invoice->General Tab, the date after which it will not be possible to enter or create new invoices for the customer.But for Business Opportunities, we have no way of expiring or making a customer inactive. When creating opportunities, system allows to create without considering Expiry date set in Customer\Order tab. It will only restrict it getting processed further. That is creating customer order or sales quotation from it.In Projects, you can create a project for a customer that is expired and inactive in both Order and Invoice tabs, so we basically do not have a way to completely inactivating a customer.You can also refer th

A similar behavior as mentioned below was reported by another customer and Bug ID: 152144 was introduced in Apps 10 UPD 8 to mitigate the issue.“Huge performance issue in the migration of Customer Comm Method. The investigation shows that COMM_METHOD_API.insert method calls $IF Component_Rmcom_SYS.INSTALLED $THEN Rm_Dup_Insert___(newrec_); Rm_Dup_Check_For_Duplicate___(attr_, newrec_); $ELSE NULL;$ENDcreates huge no records in RM_DUP_SEARCH_COMM_METHOD_TAB for each record in Customer Comm Method data in the migration container.”

Inventory Couting - report "added" parts (existing in physcial stock, but not in DB)

Count Per Inventory Part enables you to Count Parts without using a Count Report (enter the results of your physical counting of inventory parts without using a count report). Make ad-hoc corrections of inaccurate On Hand quantities.Any divergence between the quantity stated in the system and the quantity physically counted will be shown in the created inventory postings, in the Acc Count Difference field in the Count Per Inventory Part window and in the Cum Count Diff field on the Inventory Part/Misc Part Info tab.

Receive Inventory Part at zero cost - where Cost Per part in set

The FIFO method assumes that the first-acquired inventories (first in) is the first to be used/issued (first out) and later-acquired inventories are being held for future use.Each new receipt transaction is stored in a FIFO pile and when issues are registered, quantities from the oldest record in the pile will be consumed.The cost for a specific record in the FIFO pile is set at receipt. If the part is purchased, the purchase order price will be set as cost, if the part is manufactured, the WIP built up on the shop order will be used to calculate a cost and if the part is directly received into stock without an order connection(receive inventory part), you must manually define the cost.Every new Receipt is saved in a special FIFO table (same for FIFO and LIFO). Quantity, cost, part, site, and receipt date of all available Receipts are stored in this table. The Quantity of the affected Receipt line is subtracted with the Issued Quantity. Restrict Sales to certain Customers

Found below information from a previously logged case on “Flag Sales Part from being sold to other vendors”,You are able to limit the sales by defining which parts the customer can buy with the use of Assortment functionality. But not the opposite, which parts the customers cannot buy.So it would mean that for all other customers you would have to connect all other parts than the specific ones you do not want them to buy, to some Assortment.If not your requirement needs to be handled as a customization.

APPS9 - Customer invoice output in XML - Custom field needed

Found below information from a previously logged case for Apps 8,The report that we need to include the custom fields is ‘CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP. In order to access the custom field on different LUs, it should be register the logical unit in therelevant report definition package. Here, it’s ‘CustomerOrderIvc.rdf’.Currently it’s only enable for below LUs. 'CustomerOrderLine' 'CustOrderLineAddress' 'SalesChargeType' 'CustomerOrderLine' 'OrderLineStagedBilling' 'CustomerOrder' 'ReturnMaterial' and ‘CustomerOrderCharge’.

CRM Access filter and Groups

As per the design, as long as you are not a member of any group, the CRM access will not be applied for the user. If you search for the user in Representative Access Info page you will notice that this user is not included in the CRM access. If you add the user to any CRM access group he will be given access according to the filters and groups.The reason for this is that the CRM access should not have an impact on users working with other parts of the application since these users need to have access to all customers etc.

You can add the discount in the Discount column in the Part Order Line and connect a charge line to the part order line. Hope this helps.

Creator of Transport Task

Found below information from a previously logged case,It is not valid just to enter the user ID for identification of the creator of transport task. This is because once a transport task has been created, there is nothing that prevents other users, or automatic processing, to add a lot more “goods to be moved” onto the same task. This might not at all have been the intention of the original creator of the transport task, still his/her name would be stamped on the transport task even he is not accountable for the changes made after. So it is not sufficient.But can provide a different solution here, to track whatever the changes made on transport tasks. For that user need to have super user access. Follow below path.1. Solution Manager > Monitoring > History > History Log Configuration2. Open 'History Log Configuration' window. There you can see different folders under 'Setup History Log' column.3. Purchase Requisition authorization using positions

The Auth rule is set up for “Include steps based on limits”. My PREQ has 2 lines. one for ~19,000 USD and second for ~662500. Since this is Include steps based on limits, I am getting all 5 steps of my template but the first and last authorizers are the actual authorizers, everyone else will acknowledge. I am able to do this by clikcing line by line of the right side of the auth window. left side is giving me te error. Can you check whether the authorization limit of the 5th step(last step) is less than the PR value.

Can you check the Authorization Rule fetched on the PR(PR->Authorization Tab-> Authorization Rule column)Does this Rule has Authorization Routing Option set to “Include All Steps and Consider Limits” - Then the system will copy all the steps in the Authorization routing template and validate the authorization limit of the last step while authorizing the purchase order or purchase requisition.For example the last step has a limit less than the PR value then the above error can be given ( Ex: last step 200,000 USD PR value 700,000USD)

Customs Value Currency in Shipment

As per Help Text given,If no currency is defined for this field either in Customer Order->Delivery Information tab, or Shipment->General tab, the base currency will be used to reflect the values on a pro forma invoice created as a customer order pro forma invoice or a shipment pro forma invoice.Also, there is a field called “Customs Value” in the customer order line. This refers to the declared price of a sales item used at customs in trade for deliveries made between countries/states. This value is entered manually and can be changed when required. The value is displayed for one unit in the customer’s unit of measure, and reflects the base currency, if no customs value currency is defined in the customer order header (Delivery Information tab). The customs value gets printed on a pro forma invoice created as a customer order pro forma invoice or a shipment pro forma invoice.
