Set default focus on dynamic tab

Hi @Imalka Bandara,In Designer.cs file, you just have to change the SelectedIndex value to the tab which you want the application to open up when you open the form window. Let’s say you want to open up the 2nd tab in the form window, Then,this.picTab.SelectedIndex = 1; Note that the indexes start from 0.

IFS 10 Upgrade error java.lang.outofmemory Java heap space

Hi @paguin,You can run the installer and check the maximum heap memory allocated for the Servers and try to increase it.Before allocating more memory to fix an Out of Memory error, ideally, you should take heap dumps from the environment to analyze and identify if there are any memory leaks. If there is a memory leak, increasing the heap memory will not help.

Can we change the default Aurena search type from Starts With to Contains

Hi @jhooperyan, As far as i know, there’s no way of changing the default search type as of yet. However, you can create a saved search with the search type that you would like to set and set it as the default startup behavior.Hope this helps for the time being!

Run Default Saved Search on Open in Aurena

Hi @jhooperyan,The default startup behavior of an Aurena page is controlled using following settings. Or else from the development level using startupmode property. Click on the Settings button, This has only 2 main options - Show default data and Use Search. In search you can either use New search or use a saved search. Hope this helps!

Can't we Activate the Row Key of a standard Entity to create a custom object?

Hi @Chamaka Wimalarathne,There is a separate window called ‘Entity’ as shown belowFrom here, you can activate the Rowkey by simply clicking on the Activate Rowkey button.

Activate Rowky on supplier Invoice Analysis

Hi @TosohLBlum,I’m afraid the Logical Unit ‘IncomingInvoice’ which is associated with the window Supplier Invoices Analysis cannot be extended to support custom objects. If you query the Excluded Logical Units window, you can see that it is excluded and cannot be extended.

Hi @Chamaka Wimalarathne, You should be able to activate the Rowkey by going to the Entity window. If the Rowkey is not activated, there should be command button to activate it.

Hi @arebbeadle, Since you are getting the error ‘An item with the same key has already been added.’, the script will help you in identifying the duplicated source key names. Please ignore the action type stated there as this is something we reuse and the outcome is not filtered with the action type.

Hi @arebbeadle,I believe you are using a custom menu to order the report? Could you please attach a screenshot of how you are trying to print the report when you receive the error? Also, please let us know your application version and the update version as well.

No PDF report returned from Crystal Web Service - Apps 9

Hi @Kasia,Go to server where you have setup the crystal web service and enable high debug logs if you have not yet done so,Also, please check if following the below steps would fix the issue,Take the initpub backup. Uninstall the crystal services. Re install crystal service from new zip in IFS instance folder (install CWS from IFS Home) Restart the IIS. Retry generating the reports

Hi @Kasia,Thanks for the info!Are you trying to print the report using the IFS PDF Archiver? Since you have mentioned that this behavior is random, could you please try to print the report using the PDF archiver and see if you are getting the error message?

Hi @Kasia, Could you please check the log file to see if there are any error messages? Normally, there should be an error message explaining why you are getting the “No PDF report returned from Crystal Web Service” message.

Customer Statement of Account missing report layout

Hi @DavidWiafe,Could you please check the following,Check if the report is printing even when Print Dialog is not popped up Check the Report Rule log from ‘Report Rule Log’ window to see if any other report rules are getting fired when printing the report. Check if this issue is visible for one specific user or all the users
