Message Code mapping from MT940 File is incorrect

Hi Thanushi,I have handled MT940 issues for certain customers. But need to confirm whether this is coming from MT940 Core solution or whether there’s any customization done on it.The best thing would be to request the External file from the customer and load the file using the given MT940 Template in customer environments and APP8 Core and technically confirm whether this is a customization related issue or coming from Core and whether there’s any fix currently available to fix the same.Hope this helps at least to a certain extent :-)Best Regards,Rasangi

Supplier invoice posting error

Hi Claudia, Go to your Company (101) → Then go to Voucher Series per Voucher Type screen and search for Voucher Type: J (with Function Group: J) and check whether there’s a record added with Year 2021 with a number series as follows; Then RMB the line and go to “User Group per Voucher Series” window → And check whether User Group: AC is connected to Function Group: J with Voucher Type: J as follows. Further add the required Authorization Level. Check whether the system allows you to post the invoice once this setup is added? Best regards,Rasangi

Could there be any other Aurena 10 UPD 10 versions with customizations where automatic code string completion functionality does not work?

Hi Peshala,Since customizations are created as per customer specific requirements, we cannot directly say whether the same customization would be available or not for another customer.Therefore the best option for your issue would be to report this issue to technical team by mentioning the flow in customer Aurena environment and APP10 Core Aurena environment, so that technical team can perform a code comparison and identify the exact customization which is impacting this code string completion functionality. M273 and M274 Posting type

Hi Hary, I too agree with Narmada and let me explain it through the following example and flow;Company has USD as accounting currency Create a PO with a foreign currency other than the accounting currency (SEK) -> Make sure Currency Rate is defined as follows; Create the PO using above Currency (SEK) and Release/ Reserve it Then change the Currency Rate as follows; Now create an Invoice connecting the above PO. Currency Rate fetched as follows; And Match PO receipt with invoice -> Verify that M273 posting has been fired to since the Currency Rate has increased. And if the Currency rate is decreased then M274 will be fired; So these 2 postings (M273 and M274) will be fetched whether there’s a currency rate between PO and invoice dates as long as you perform the transaction using a foreign currency.And you can only remove it if you can confirm that there won’t be any transactions performed or to be performed in any foreign currencies in future, since whenever you add a transact

Tax Code difference in line when posting transations.

Hi ConAlberM,Have you manually added the Tax Code IMP? Seems the default tax code connected to the Supplier has been auto added in the posting lines since the tax % is not fetched in the line (Since there’s no tax % shown in the IMP Tax Code that you have added in line information).Can you try using a different tax code and check whether you get the same issue? Hi Ronhu,You can add the setup as per your requirement, where you can use the inbuilt Time Clock if required (which is inside IFS Application as follows); Or else, you can use IFS Standalone Time Clock (which you can find as an “Add-on” to IFS Application as follows, which you should install separately if you want to use it ) And in order to use the Time Clock, you have to define Time Clock Types as follows; And then you can connect the relevant Time Clock Types with required users in Time Clock Terminals window as follows (where you can define other details as per your requirement); Then users can login and report Clock-IN and Clock-OUT using the Time Clock. And for Manufacturing Time reporting, you can either use Shop Floor Workbench as follows; Or else use Manufacturing Time Clock as follows; Hope this helps. Best Regards,Rasangi

If yes, then the Scheduled Capacity is based on selected Work Center Code, where the following help information is available. Hi,Considering your requirement, I wonder whether your required functionality is available in Core at all, or whether it requires a customization. So better to check this with Supply Chain Product Team first, by adding a post in Supply Chain Community Forum. And if they instruct you to create a case (to report to RnD) you can do that accordingly. And when it comes to Creating Cases; You can create a case through IFS Support Portal. So does your User ID have the required access to create cases through IFS Support Portal? If not, you have to seek a person in your Company who has this access to create cases via IFS Support Portal, and get the case created.Best Regards,Rasangi

Budgetary Control at the Time of Purchase or Expense?

Hi VsoMDjewP, I checked further and couldn’t find any where else to enable budgetary control for PO, Purchase Requisition and Expense Booking apart from using the account as the base and then enabling pre posting of code parts through Posting Controls (Eg: Enabling Pre Posting via M100, M101, M102). Anyway in order to get a better understanding of the options available to facilitate your requirement, you would better raise a case to Support (GSD) so that a SCM and HR Consultants can check further and then report to RnD to get the required explanation/ solution to fulfil your requirement. Hi,Well, you can try to enable the required functionality through the Account, since Account has the option “Budget/Planning Only” where the Help Text mentions the following; ----- Help Text for the check box “Budget/Planning Only -----Select this checkbox if the account or code part value only should be available when entering information in either one of the Budget Management or Business Planning components. If selected, the account or code part value cannot be used for normal postings, but it is still possible to use the value in selections for queries, reports etc. Note that this checkbox cannot be selected if the Currency Balance checkbox has been selected.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Refer the below screen shot to check the mentioned option; Then you can define Budget Code Part Demands as follows, which include the required code parts (this you can define as per company requirement); And help information on “Budge

Tax Inv Series ID and Tax invoice number at Mixed payment.

Hi Shehan,I too agree with Madusha.These 2 fields in Mixed Payment are editable and fetched only for Enter Supplier Payment, Direct Cash Payment or Bank Fee Payment as mentioned before.But if you talk about these 2 fields (“Tax Invoice Number” and “Tax Invoice Series) in Customer Payment Analysis relating to Customer Invoice Payments, then the setup Madusha mentioned above will be helpful. Anyway those 2 field will never be automatically filled in Mixed Payment window.I tried the following example in APP10 REGIONAL TEST CMB.Company SetupUsed a Tax Code with following criteria (Refer Tax Code: TI in Company RATILK Customer Setup Define Payment Document and Payment Document Number Series as follows; Defined Tax Invoice Series for Customer Payment as follows Then define Number Series for Tax InvoiceThen create an Instant/ Customer Invoice using the above Tax Code (TI) and Customer (1000) as follows; Make the payment for Customer/ Instant Invoice -> Verify: Tax Invoice Series and Number

The series should be entered if matched invoices have tax lines with Tax Method set to Payment. Tax Invoice NumberThe number of the tax invoice. This field is enabled only when the Use Tax Invoice check box is selected in the Company/Tax Control/Invoice tab window and Payment Transaction Type is set to Enter Supplier Payment, Direct Cash Payment or Bank Fee Payment.
