hi @Timmermans Roel yes the behaviour is correctIf the supply code is Purchase Direct or Internal Purchase Direct and it is not a rental then the only allowed ownerships are Company Owned or Supplier Rented. Is there a workaround? Probably, i haven’t encountered this scenario before though.
hi Mathias, thank you for the assistance as alwaysI have a customer that, i guess, likes the way the preview feels (quick and intuitive) and that it doesn’t lead to a gradual buildup of files in the checkout/temp path that will need to be cleaned up periodically.Maybe they have another specific concern, I can check with them.Anyway, the question i received was basically “can we get the preview feature/behaviour on the document revision page so that it acts the same way as the attachments pane”.Seems like a reasonable request … since, as you wrote, we have created Aurena with the capability, why not make it accessible from other places? 😉
hi @hansend Thanks for adding those detailsYou are not missing any steps. My guess is you need a refresh of some sortYou can try running this metadata refreshhttps://<server>:<port>/main/ifsapplications/web/server/clearmetadatacache?VALUE=<client_model>You should run this script at some point, but i don’t think this is the problem because you’ve already got past the problem that this resolves: DEFINE GRANTEE = IFSSYSPROMPT Granting to &GRANTEE BEGIN Installation_SYS.Grant_Ifssys(TRUE);END;/PROMPT Refreshing Dictionary_SYSEXEC Dictionary_SYS.Rebuild_Dictionary_Storage_(1, 'COMPUTE');PROMPT Refreshing Reference_SYSEXEC Reference_SYS.Refresh_Active_List__(2);PROMPT Reinitialize packages-- This command disables Installation_Mode in Dictionary_SYSEXEC Dbms_Session.Modify_Package_State(Dbms_Session.Reinitialize);/PROMPT Refreshing Security_SYSEXEC Security_SYS.Refresh_Active_List__(3);/COMMIT;/
a couple of things for starters:Objversion is not a great column to use as your date. Better to use a created_date, due_date or whatever the system has.You will need Columns representing your aging buckets. These do not belong in your Condition (where clause). The condition should return all dates;Your first column will be likeCase when <date> between sysdate-60 and sysdate-30 then 1 else 0 end “60days”Your second column will be likeCase when <date> between sysdate-30 and sysdate then 1 else 0 end “30days”and so on.
hi Tom,You cannot configure this as far as i know, but:You have “Go to Next” optionIf you click Upcoming activities it will filter out those that are set to Complete (i think). so if they are seeing a lot from 2018 it sounds like they should set a load of old activities to completed
No good answer for you there I’m afraid. The FND_RUNTIME permission set is required/allows you to log into both MWO and IEE.Best option is to deny the users any presentation objects so that even if they log in, there’s nothing for them in the navigator.
Hi Michael,to your first question, if you look at the CO line you should be able to see where it came from - e.g. work order transaction or service contract invoice item.Service articles vs. inventory sales parts? Try looking at the part number field in customer order line/sales part, which is null for non-inventory sales parts.
hi @bnzKarin that’s beyond my abilities, but as far as i know you have 2 options - either make changes to the specific report’s RPI, that is, the package of code that generates the data for this report; or modify the underlying translations in IFS, in which case I think the change would affect multiple reports. But maybe a developer on here can advise better.
Hi @svrmhuebner It sounds difficult.Supposing we could creatively find a way to create a customer order header, check in the PDF as a document and attach it; for that to work, we would need to know the customer ID as a minimum.Perhaps you could list the steps that you are looking to happen, and which ones would be (ideally) automated.
Apps 9 - Whats the best way to pass a purchase order that was created from a customer invoice onto the sales invoice print?
Hi @BLLBrucemo You could do it with an IAL in the report, or a custom field in IFS (enabled for reports). The main thing is to make sure adding it does not cause a performance hit. This requirement will typically be achieved using a SQL fetch, whether you use an IAL or a Read-only custom field, you’re doing a fetch when you run the report. As data grows over time the performance of that can deteriorate, and users will have forgotten about this being the reason why.Important to make sure the business understands how this is done and the potential downside.
This is usually easiest just by hardcoding the new label you want into the report (although if you have multiple language requirements that is an extra challenge) So you’re getting rid of the dynamic label field and replacing it with a text field. It’s considerably more effort to try to change the translation within the report logic.
Hi @Adarsh It is a little tricky to migrate header and lines, but it is possible. Here are some screenshots of a job i set up recently or Apps 10. This next bit tells the lines to use the order number that has just been created in Method 10:
Hi @cjohnson If the requirement is to add 20% to the price, then why don’t they just add 20% to the price? maybe go into the price field and type *1.2 (would be the fewest keystrokes)? The tool of being able to manage the CM is there in case there are defined minimums on margin.
