Hi @BeaMarceA ,search the report name within percentage marks in text translate window . select the language “Cr”.an see if the translations are there

Can't we Activate the Row Key of a standard Entity to create a custom object?

Hi @Himasha Abeywickrama , What is “ENTITY WINDOW” per say ? is it entity details ? because I cannot see any edit option there as well .Can you send me a screenshot of the window that we can use to enable the row key . Because as you can see from the image I have provided it is not possible to do it using entity configuration. Regards,Chamaka

Is there a way to customize lobbies in IFS cloud

Hi @LakmaliRD ,As I remember ( correct me if I’m wrong 😊 )custom branding affects the whole application . Not only the lobby . Or is there a way to just isolate a particular lobby ? Regards,Chamaka

Hi Chamaka, This is possible in IFS Cloud as well Hi @Dinusha.Jayasekara ,Is there a specific setting we need to activate to do so . Or is it available after some edition . This is how we see in our application .Kindly check on both Cloud 21R1 and Cloud 21R2

Hi @Charith Epitawatta ,Customer is a Cloud customer . I would really appreciate if you can send me the relevant cloud “element” (page ,Projection, etc...) that needs to be included inside the permission set and the cloud related documentation . And I can only see one option in the relevant system parameter as a value .Can you assist me on this as well ? 🙂

Is it possible to connect all sites to a user in a single step ( sites per user - IFS cloud )

Hi @Shehan Almeida ,The connect all site in a company option is not feasible for my situation . Can you elaborate more in using the “Site cluster” option ? As in how to use it and It’s functionality ? Just to make it more clear “All Sites ” means All Sites despite of the company Thanks in advance ,Chamaka

Company Templates

Hi @ddecker , @MishaelAkleker Enterp_Comp_Connect_V190_API.crlf_ no longer exists from Apps9 onwards.We don’t support the scenario of importing templates from different versions because there could be many new fields/features that could have been added between the versions. We believe that is the reason that they have implemented the validation against the component versions. You could see similar comments (“No Data Found”) for other components and LUs as well. The reason for this is again the difference between the component version that has been imported from the template and the version that is installed in the database. The recommendation would be to not import the template from the older version to the new version. You can instead create a new template from the version 10 itself from the Create Company Template Assistant using an existing template or a company and then modify it as they want. This could be then used while creating new companies.

Due date not getting filtered when going from lobby to page

Hi @Chamaka Wimalarathne, In the Web Access URL, you have used ‘&’ as the AND operator. Replace that with ‘and’ and it will work. page/ManageSupplierInvoice/Form?$filter=Company eq $[COMPANY] and DueDate eq $[DUE_DATE] However, even after setting up like this, you will receive an error saying that the types 'Edm.Date' and 'Edm.String' are not compatible. If you open up the Search box, you can see that the Due Date and Company are correctly fetched but would not populate any data. This could be a bug! Hi Himasha,RND provided a solution (291368) about using one or more variables in a navigate URL and they suggested on using “ & .”When using more than one parameter for the same navigation in lobby, the parameters need to be separated using '&' Eg. page/PersonQualificationsCompetencies/List?$filter=CompetencyName eq $[COMPETENCY_NAME]&scope=MIFOLK And about this being a bug Yes you are correct .a date related inquiry has been reported from Solution 296772 .Thank y

@Adarsh The font that you have used is KurtiDev010 . and it has been used properly . if you have used the mapping properly , the issue seems to be a bit complex to investigate . To further investigate this , you need to report this as a case to IFS . the points that should be checked are ,the report layout , output excel and REPORT_FONT_DEFINITION_TAB clob Regards,Chamaka

Add Indian Language in IFS 10?

Boxes usually comes up when the fond has no reference or a mapping.If you are certain that you have done the mapping do these steps .Print the report → open the PDF and go to properties- > check the fontsThere you should se the mapped font .Next open the clob record inside REPORT_FONT_DEFINITION_TAB , and check whether theExact Font and Exact font style mentioned in the properties are also inside the CLOB. If not you can either report layout or install an appropriate font accordingly

Text translation issue in ifs10?

It can be either two things .1.A given font is not able print a characterIf IFS shipped fronts are unable to print the required characters all we can do is to find a font which is capable, purchase the font and install it to the customerAs a test you could create a simple layout and try to preview data without any layout formatting, then we can see if the font is capable of showing the characters.2.layout text position issueIf the layout container is not enough you will have to re format the layout to accommodate the customers data. Hi you can Try several things..Increasing the size of the text box in the report layout Selecting another font type Checking the REPORT_FONT_DEFINITION_TAB clob and checking the availability inside the database. EX - usually it becomes squares if the font is not properly taken. But there have been instances with the hashtag as wellIf you can attach a sample PDF I can provide more info

Add new language in application 10?

Hi @Dumeesha Wanigarathna Used language tab can be used to activate a language , or make a language translatable .But if the report related translation ( at least the report name ) is not available you will not be able to get the language to the drop down. That is why I used the language availability check method mentioned above. Answer to this question is in simple double check. I call it as the language availability check/ Check used language window and see whether the language is open for translations . get the report REP name . you can get it from report definitions. Search than name in the text translation window . It should be either not available or not translated for the desired language. Request the specific team Project team/partner/GSD to send the required translation file . We will be discussing more scenarios like such in a simulation perspective in the webinar.

@Yasas Kasthuriarachchi the given scenario has been already prepared under specials scenarios of report translations . @EnzoFerrari - Translations is a vast area and the presentation is covering both technical and functional aspects in a balance manner , I would be happy to add more content as per the audience needs, so if you want …you can mail me any question , and I might be able to create a simulation and add them to the presentation. so if the time becomes a boundary this can be eliminated.chamaka.wimalarathne@ifs.com
