@ awe. Thankyou! As much as I don’t actually like that answer it does seem to make a difference. Do we know if maybe this started because of Aurena? I found all sorts of crazy spacing when I moved my screen down to 100% - even on things that are not customizable. I have not been able to figure out how to fix it for my people yet since we have all different layouts for different computers, but it is an extremely interesting find. Did IFS have anything to say or offer on it?
We brought this one along with our move to IFS 10 and it is still stuck and cannot be resolved. Any suggestions?
Uthpala, Thank you for your response. We are in update 11 with quite a few patches already. Do you know which update that is in? What does the update do? Allow more than one Maintenance org per company or allow them to work by company and not by site specific? Of course going live on Monday and just ran across this in our latest version for testing since our third site is pretty new.
Thank you Eresha! Why did they change that from 9? We cannot find a way to see that the original lines were credited on the first order now. The secondary order gets document text on the lines referencing the original order, but nothing changes on the lines of the original order to show they were credited at all. Any suggestions for that tie off?
Yasanthi, I have tried your link above and it is not working. Can you screen shot the information or anything? I was going to ask a question about this but hoping that this documentation may help me solve on my own. I know that once all of the assignments are completed it marks the task work done and then if you only have one task that will update the work order to work done, but our question was specifically why can you add more assignments once the task is work done but you cannot add more tasks to a work done work order?

I think my last question with this then is can the template be used to auto create a No Part requisition for the external costs since you should not be able to edit a purchase part cost? I cannot get a Purchase Requisition header to create for the no-part external costs with anything that I have tried yet.
Yes, that is what I did that I am seeing on this template. Just like you, I used a non-inventory purchase part at $0.00 and updated the price to $400 in the site tab. The budget screen only shows the $300 external planning line that is not attached to the “part”. The Planning tab, does show both external costs though. And when the template is used on a work order, I only show the budget of $300.00and have three lines of planning, but the line associated with the $0.00 “part” is at $0.00 still.
