Business Activity - Supplier Request

I was granted the proper projection and am currently testing the Supplier Request. Is there a way to add approval steps? For instance, for each supplier, I would like it to be reviewed and approved in the following order: Procurement Quality Accounts Payable I dont think that is feasible within the current supplier request capabilities.

Cannot connect as quantity attached to the source line S200 , 8, 1 is not packed to Shipment Inventory

Hi @Hurremoglu it seems the source line (customer order line) you are trying to connect to a shipment is already Picked, but not Picked in to a location of type Shipment. Can you try to reverse the source line to reserved or released state and then connect to the shipment and reserve and pick it?

Supplier Correction Invoice for delivered Purchase Order

Hi @Karolina Wowak Process the return for credit as you already know and suggested yourself. To get it reflected in your invoicing, you can create Manual Supplier Invoice with negative values and then match it with the returns. Negative qty will be shown in the match PO dialogue box, which you can match with the created invoice.

@IniNaadiJ See if you have added INVOIC message class in the customer Message Defaults. Also to complete the fully flow, make sure you have SUPEXT message class in Supplier > Invoice > Message Defaults as well.

@MelTanyaS I ran a similar flow in APP10 and it worked correctly for inter-company. If not for what Ieva had suggested, why the second error is raised is a problem.Focusing on the second error in your screenshots, isn’t your part in the internal CO a non-inv sales part?

Price mapping from PO to CO - Intercompany workflow

@MelTanyaS Given the setting of Send Order Price is available in Supplier for Purchase Part, I cannot think why it is not working for non-inv parts. The availability of the Send Order Price suggests the consideration of similar requirements by IFS, so I guess it should work for non-inv parts unless an explanation is provided. I suggest to raise this in a Support ticker for RnD to look at or create Community Idea.

@MelTanyaS I would like to know why you expect the same prices as the demand site PO in the supply site CO. I dont think it is common to have the same price in both sites all times. Qty expectations, yes. But the price I dont wish to be transferred like the qty. Supply site will be deciding their price in the CO. Not the price in the PO. However, I just tested the Price Freeze functionality, and it can keep the CO line price unchanged when the qty is updated. That is the right expectation as I believe price shouldnt be replaced, but to keep it unchanged.

Hi @MelTanyaS , That is the standard behavior. Even if you change the qty manually in the CO line, price will be replaced to the default price. Please use the price freeze option in the CO line,

ASL approval in PO line

@pramodka46 Now I understand. And yes, that is the system behavior we find. It has to do with ASL check being done for each PO line as the Purchase Group is fetched through the PO line. If for instance you have a PO line with different Purch Group, you wont get a auth corresponding to that line. If you try to approve every auth line, I understand it will not be convenient. However, ASL is in fact introduced to approve from a supplier level. So I suggest you to Approve the Supplier and fetch the auth rule to the PO again to get authorize conveniently. If your requirement is to authorize a specific line/PO out of the ASL list, then it will be an exception to the general expectation of ASL hence I guess the user will have to the high road of authorizing each line, or considering other authorization methods in IFS. However, if you have a specific business scenario, I suggest to raise this as an Idea. Thank you.

What you will have to do is to disable ability Perform inventory transactions in warehouse access as your concern is with picking. Also are your warehouse users use wadaco?Part Availability Control on the other hand will restrict the use of locations based on Inventory Locations. Selection of users would not be an option.
