Hi @CAPALK If you read the Docman Macros documentation, it mentions belowIf these attributes (or the values they contain) are not enough for your needs there are a couple of ways to fix this:Customize the Get_Document_Data function in Doc_Issue_API Make a macro that calls the IFS Foundation Gateway and do the necessary database calls yourself. This is unsupported, but might work. Retrieve the values from some other place such as files or windows registry, using available functions in VBScript.I guess the option 1 would be the safest since you can define the attribute you want and set the value for it inside Get_Document_Data function.Option 2 should be possible with basic authentication, but with IFS cloud I am not sure it will work

ifs document name

File No - Which field is this? I have checked in 2 customer databases and found only records with value “1” My thought was that File No is number of files attached to the doc revision, meaning if you have a VIEW file checked in to the same revision, then the VIEW copy will get File No = 2. But both ORIGINAL and VIEW gets File No = 1 🤔

@hrdilshan when the Aurena Agent is enabled and when you navigate to “User Settings” page, do you get an error or does it say agent is enabled? Using Macro Functionality in Docman

Hi @Dharshankumaar Mahendran You can use a macro to convert the user check in file to a PDF and then check in both files (Converted PDF as VIEW copy). This is rather easy if the original file is a type of MS Office package (Word, Excel etc). If it something like JPG or PNG, then you might need to use a third party library like PDFCreator. However, using a macro, you cannot replace the file user is checking in, you can only check in both files. BR,

How to download a file from a URL file type document

Hi @Supeshala If you need a one click solution, then writing a macro for the Copy file to command is the way to go. I have tried writing a simple script but however there were few problems.COPY_TO_PATH client script value did not work for some reason. This could be a bug. Therefor I had to hardcode the folder location. This is not ideal for your scenario. But it is a good starting point to think of alternatives. There seems to be a timing issue in the macro where script runs before the file is actually downloaded, making the script useless. Again, this could be a bug. As a workaround I select all the files and copy to a folder 1st time, and then select one file and copy again. Then macro ran again and since now the files exists in the folder, it downloaded the files. Again, not an ideal one click solution. Macros are not supposed to be running when there are multiple records selected. But in my case it ran probably because all of my documents were in the same class. You can test with

Is It safe to delete files from Document Temporary Path?

BTW you do not have to delete files in DOCUMENT_TICKET_TEMP_PATH manually. You can schedule a database task with method "delete_old_tickets" in the "batch_transfer_handler_api" and provide the parameter SCHEDULED_HOURS [SCHEDULED_HOURS is a parameter to distinguish the tickets to be deleted. So all the tickets older than the scheduled hours will get deleted]

Select file not working

Hi @Udanee Do the other file operations work fine like view/ edit etc.? It could be that the registry values that are in use in Aurena agent is not correctly registered in Windows. Please try below workaround and see if it resolves the issue.Go to user settings page and then do a small change there, press save, undo the change and press save again. For example, user can toggle the radio buttons in “Preferred Document Type for View and Print” and press save in between. BR,
