No takers? Is no one out there using this functionality?
@Rukmal Fernando - just when we thought we had a solution, we’ve encountered another issue wherein the Windows app works fine in allowing you to select only the specified Enumeration Value, however the IOS apps (customer’s tablet sand my phone) give an error, “The given key ‘ReportProblem’ was not present in the dictionary” and does not allow you to select any option
I tried having only the one Enumeration Filter selection, Create work that I will perform, then hiding the first step Step1 (Option) - which takes me to Step2 and I’m allowed to finish creation of the task and work order, However task status comes back as New and has no assignment. Prior to going down this path, native functionality when using New Work option “Create work that I will perform”, results in the new task assigned to me with status of Accepted. It seems limiting the options to only 1, does not actually select the radial button to follow the path for create work that I will perform.
Thank you @Rukmal Fernando !. That worked in limiting the option to only the one I selected. Now how about taking it even a step further and having it default the option, and skipping the user having to select it at all. (Move right into the next step in the wizard, General Info). Can you guide me through that?
Thank you - the link you provided did not work but I was able to find it here: https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/23r1/WorkTaskManagement/AboutManualResourceAllocation.htm
I believe I have discovered an issue with this “easy-to-use capability”. If there is a resource demand, and assignment is made from the demand, subsequent work completed in mWO results in Work Done status on the work task(s) as expected. If I use the option to "Assign Multiple Tasks" from Prepare Work Order screen, work completed in mWO returns “Work Started” status on the work task(s), even though assignment(s) are in Completed status. I've tested this with single task WO, multiple task WO and get the same result. Seems that option is broken somehow
I think I have isolated the problem. If there is a resource demand, and assignment is made from the demand, work completed in mWO results in Work Done status on the work task(s) as expected. If I use the option to "Assign Multiple Tasks" from Prepare Work Order screen, work completed in mWO results in Work Started status on the work task(s). I've tested this with single task WO, multiple task WO and get the same result. Seems that option is broken somehow.
I re-initialized the app, checked Deleted Failed Transactions, nothing in there since last Friday, and this WO & tasks were just created this morning (MST), I sent you a message on Teams
No failed transactions for that User
Working with a customer now that needs this functionality
It can't currently happen without contracts. That's slated for either 24R1 or 24R2
@Mayura Wasantha , thank you for the response. I think it would be best if we (Jerry Browning and I) could have an online walk-through of the process in cloud with you. I see we're 11-12 hours behind your time zone, so perhaps very early or late in your work day. I’m willing to start my day early or end it late to accommodate your availability.
Any updates on if we have this capability in Apps10,R16?
