@KevinM We’ve been trying this but the action processor is really unhappy with some part of it. I’ll keep trying
Thanks @KevinM I’ll have a play around with this
I agree that would be very useful
Yes the promotion tool is looking great to reduce human error - I’m looking forward to that. I’m intrigued by the search tags but concerned about the time involved in getting them to a level where they are useful if that makes sense. We trying to work on the timelines for upgrade but it’s a shifting landscape at the moment
Hi @Steve Miller what are your thoughts now 11.6 release notes are out?
it’s ok that part was taken care of quite some time ago - these after effects have just needed mopping up
once it hits the complete stage it automatically resolves
It appears if I go to Actions, Other I can find and run the Complete stage.
@Robert Wood I can follow it all the way up to taking a state action of complete. It does not appear under state actions. Only cancel appears there.
This is an interesting idea. I’d go so far as to say it would be better to be able to choose which to expose or be able to vary by event type as sometimes I have technical attachments on a request that are not appropriate viewing for the end user.
Thank you @moconnor1 that is the key piece of information I was missing. Much appreciated.
ok, that would work for our purposes I believe - however the syntax you’ve given doesn’t match the style used in Action Templates which is more of the [EVENT_AFFECTED_USER_NAME] style syntax
Could we pulled Assigned User from the parent event for the action instead?
That’s really helpful to know. I’d be curious to know what you mean about legacy email protocols but appreciate that it may not be something you are able to share.
I’ve hit the same issue myself but unfortunately haven’t found an alternative
I’d love an OR option for sure
