I only have one cdb file in the component.However, when I removed below comments-- [END IFS COMPLETE BLOCK] It worked fine. Not sure why the comment made a difference.
All begin..end block ends with “/” in the cdb file. It runs perfectly fine using development studio. But does not working during environment creation. Anything else you can think of?

I tried to refresh server cashes for dictionary and reference but it still does not work I’m afraid. Not sure what we are missing. Works fine in a different environment though.
Yes indeed the view and the table both have the new column. It is very strange I still get this error.I ordered a new build place DEV environment and deployed the same code there. It works all fine in that environment.
Permission was an issue.
I figured out my own question. The templates are part of profiles.
Hi @bhavesh, I am assuming emails in general work in the environment and you only have the problem with the Report Rule. If the Report Rule log says the rule was fired, then please check the OUT1 queue In “Application Messages” screen. Even though the email is fired from a Report Rule, the application message will NOT appear in the “Report Application Messages” screen. The subject of the application message should be the same as the subject you gave for the email in the Report Rule’s action. You should be able to see if there is any error in the application message that could be causing this. Hope this helps! As mentioned earlier, I have been checking Application Messages screen. There are no messages created.
I have used this document before I asked the question. Done exactly same thing, but I have the problem with report rules not executing the actions. Any idea how to troubleshoot this issue in cloud?
Is it possible to edit these template default values on the base profile?

Event Action is basically in the configuration layer of IFS Cloud, which is triggered when a custom event is triggered. The development of event action is done with IFS client itself as you have been doing.Projection Action on the other hand is developed and deployed in the customisation layer of IFS Cloud, for which you need IFS Developer Studio. The action becomes part of your API which can be used within or outside IFS during integration.Hope this helps!
In the below screenshot, are both downloads same? I.e. is the highlighted below a customer solution repository with any IFS base core development code plus any customisation code? Compare to the non-highlighted code being just the core code? When you develop customisation project in the development studio you are required to have Cust workspace where you clone customer solution repository ideally and specify a folder for the core code as below screenshot Should the core folder contain highlighted downloaded code or the non-highlighted (if both are same). Secondly when you customise any IFS component should that be copied / branched / checkout inside the Cust workspace from the downloaded highlighted code from above?
Hi @bhavesh, All the build place users with developer access (Technician, Customer Solution Dev & IFS Product Support Dev) are supposed to have either read or write access to the customer solution repository. If you have access to the repository, you should be able to see all the available components. Please refer to the following documentation: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/23r1/020_lifecycle/010_overview/#azure_devops_ado Might be a good idea to check if other users also have the same problem and report a case to IFS if necessary. Hope this helps! I have the access as Technician. Even if it is Read only access I should be still able to see all IFS components in ADO. The documentation link does not explain much. Can you think of what could be stopping me to get access to view or clone source code?
To start with I had MIU flag but that did not update Description field. Now changed to IU that still does not update Description field. Like I said Insert is not a problem. Even all custom fields are getting updated without any problem.
Description field is not lookup field. It is field in the table on custom_statistics_number_tab table. Insert works fine so update should work. Where are your thinking the lookup is taking place from ?
Manage grant already shows IFSAPP has permission to the quick report. We can even run the report and export to excel, but the application task scheduled job does not work still.
One more thing, can you try publishing your quick report? Just to make sure the specific quick report is granted. I am guessing you are referring to below for publishing.
Rusiru,FND_ENDUSER in our environment did not had above procedure permission. However I now provided this permission and did a security refresh. Still I get this error. The I am guessing IFAPP as an initiator should have all permissions and should have worked. Also IFSAPP has FND_ENDUSER permission set assigned.
Rusiru - we are using APPS9 UPD16. Does your solution apply to this version of IFS?
