I made a query for fetching the profile entries of interest. select cp.owner, cpv.* from fndrr_client_profile cp join fndrr_client_profile_value cpv on cpv.profile_id = cp.profile_idwhere ( cpv.profile_section like '%tbwPartSerial%' ordbms_lob.instr(cpv.profile_binary_value, 'find custom search by title or other values') >=1 o)
Hi,I solved this by scripting. It was not enough to just delete the profile entries in some cases, so I ended up copying profile entries from the base profile to all the personal profiles.
Hi, Thanks for answers! You will need to verify the tax control setup on company, customers, suppliers & parts. There is an option to round up or down and then to have the tax on the line level or the total level. Are you familiar with these settings? You are able to review the tax lines on each line of an order or invoice via RMB. I am not a tax expert but have run across similar situations that we had to work back to the setting changes. Best - Christy I am pretty sure that wrong tax amount has something to do with how IFS group the lines, not tax control setup. In Project Invoice it is not possbile to review tax on correction lines due to preliminary update allowed is set to false. I can of course take an extra look at the tax controll settings. Hi, I have seen one our customers complaining about similar type of scenarios regarding tax. But we could not recreate the same issue. In this customer there are project transactions up
Hi, I solved it by using IFS Connect and PL/SQL as you recommend. I also made a console application which automatically generate recursive PL/SQL code for reading XML files from clob For generation of XML I used the Plsqlap_Document_API package.
Hi, Thank you for your response. Some of the project might be created in Apps8 and then migrated, but we know for a fact that the problem occurs in projects created in Apps10 as we have a particular example. This is customer invoices.
Hi,Yes, I found it! It gives a very good overview, but I don’t find any information about the practical implementation. Do you have any examples? We run APP 10 UPD5. I want to implement the integration by using best practice, so I am interested to model through IFS Developer Studio. BizAPI utilize Java?
Hi,No, unfortunatly I can’t sign in. Is this standard documentation?
Thanks for quick response! In general, we experience that IFS10 is very slow compared to IFS8, often related to very heavy where clauses in the views.I think it will be best to not increase the statement execution time, but rather increase the performance somehow. We managed to send and release the invoice by executing the code from PLSQL (it took 1 hour).
