Community login problems

Hello @Irene Røn My name is Grzegorz and I am a new Customer Community Manager. Could you please send an email to community@ifs.com and provide more details so we can investigate further. Thank you I have tried using the username in IFS Portal, but in IFS Community it is the e-mail address that should be used. When login with e-mail instead of the userID from IFS Portal, I can log in successfully.

We upgraded from IFS10 Update15 to Update16 and it is now running slower in IEE of IFS.

Update 15 - IEE - Supplier invoice workflow - Adobe error messages

@cbrekke We haven’t got any fix from IFS, and it is still a problem. We have made a workaround for users that experience this to deactivate the Adobe plugin - meaning the document will always load as separate window - not within the posting proposal page. How to deactivate plugin: In Acrobat choose Edit/Preferences, then Internet and button Internet settings. Then the program tab Administer Add on. Find Adobe PDF Reader and press Deactivate button.

Quickreport Aurena navegation with parameters from Lobby

Hi Lopes, I am trying to find the correct syntax in how to navigate from lobby element into starting a quick report populated with parameters from the lobby. Did you manage to find the proper syntax for such action?

Update 15 and error message in Aurena - N/A - when you try to save data

IFS claim they have fixed the issue in UPD19, and as this is a framework change they cannot supply a single patch. So until we install the next update we have made a workaround by changing the order of elements in posting proposal window (as listed above). Now only a few N/A messages rise - not for all users and not all the time - and we hope this is gone after installing update 19 sometimes later this year. In our experience the quality of IFS updates haven’t been excellent - we have found show stoppers both in Update 13 and Update 16. Hopefully the next update we go for (most probably Update 20) will be of better quality as these errors introduced after updates give us a lot of extra work and not so happy end users.

No supplier agreement present

Hi @Udanee I believe that by start date of the Supplier agreement you men the valid from date. According to the definition given by IFS this is the date from which the agreement will be valid. It is not possible to enter a date earlier than today's date. Hence I suggest you to try the same by changing the valid from date to todays date and let me know the outcome. Instant Authorization

Before update 16 we did not experience this error in the extent as we do after update 16. Also I have got information that IFS uses Internet Explorer when displaying the invoice image within IEE client. We have now standardized on Edge and Internet Explorer is not longer in use. Could there be any issues related to settings in Edge/IE? And after we installed Update16 we have more reports from users that they experience this problem than before when we had Update13 installed. Have there been any framework changes that expose this error?

We have the same problem, not for all but some users. This is the error message they receive and the invoice doesn’t show in IEE:We have found that deactivating the Adobe PDF Reader Add-in in Internet Settings in Edge remove the error message, and the invoice is loaded as an attachement (not within IEE).We are very interested in a solution to this problem - so are there any progress in case G2356297?We are on Update16 - Apps10Best regardsIrene

Latest updates from Statnett:We have now started from scratch and added the Page Designer changes but unfortunately we still experience the error messages. In general there is incorrect message handling in Aurena; We get a lot of N/A messages and sometimes Illegal operation on perfectly valid changes.The actual Page Designer change we have identified will lead to this error is when you re-arrange groups in a window. For instance the Posting Proposal window we have moved the Posting lines group before the Invoice Lines group. Doing so we get the incorrect error messages and cannot save the changes. If we just remove buttons or other minor changes, there are no errors in the window.A step-by-step description is reported to IFS and hopefully they will respond quickly and give us a solution to this problem.

If this is the standard for future Updates, we will struggle with local adjustments of Aurena.Just to let you know another strange behaviour we have reported to IFS after Update 16: We have added an event that throws an error message if a user book less than one full hour at wage code for holidays. After update 16, the error message is thrown, but the Save button is not working even if the user correct the absence. This is an effect we have seen after Update 16 - leading us to think there are more unhandled stuff regards to message handling in Aurena. Also note that this is in an Aurena page NOT changed in Page Designer.

For us to fix the issue we have unpublished the changes. We plan to add the same Page Designer changes from scratch to see if that works. If you have done local changes in your Aurena page you can try to do Unpublish to see if the N/A messages disappears. We also found that some general messages that were given in IEE client showed up with a valid message.

We have recently installed Update 16 and for some users and environments (not all users/environments) the preview of invoice is not shown in Aurena (Edge) PostingProposalHandling. We still investigate what causes this issue and haven’t found cause/fix.

We have the same issues in one Aurena page where we have done changes in Page Designer (PostingProposalHandling). Suspect framework changes that does not handle messaging in combination with local page changes.

Would be nice if RnD could fix this so error messages are shown until x-ed out. Big large red X in the error message window - seems it could be used to stay until user click the X.

Difference between 'show invoice' options in posting proposal screen

My challenge is to show all the invoices where I am the next authorizer no matter what the status is because I will do the postings and handle matching towards PO’s or manually post myself. I could of course choose “My Only” but here I also get all the invoices where I already have authorized but still waiting for others to be finally approved and those I do not want to see.

I have a follow up question - why does the “I’m Next Authorizer” not show Unbalanced invoices?I would like to see all invoices I am the next autorhizer for no matter what the status says.

Report time in Aurena after UPD13 give blank account date and no error messages when saving

So, still the Account date is blank - you have to manually select date?If that is the patch - it is very inconvenient for users booking more than one project on same day, need to add account date for every posting. Before update 13 the account date was kept from register in/out time, not blanked when choosing “Save and report again” - very helpful!

Routines for handling permissions sets after an update

We have not touched the IFS out of the box permission sets, we have created our own. It is our own permission sets that have changed after Update13. It looks like the REVOKE statement in XML for a lot of methods is missing.
