We want to provide a document with an Approval Template for the Sales Quotation and Customer Order. We have investigated that at the Document Revisions screen there is the possibility to assign a copy Approval template to the relevant document.
Is it possible to have this function directly on the screen below? If so, in what way?
You don’t want or need the Copy Approval Template RMB function - that will only create a new template - it doesn’t get you any further to performing the approval on a particular document. What you want to select is New - to create a new document and in the Document Revision, assign the previously created Approval Template to that Document Revision. Then you will be able to Start the Approval Routing according to the Approval Template.

Yes, there is a good bit of information in the help - just go to Document Revision > Development tab and go to the system help.
