Hi everyone,
Is there a way to setup IFS to update update an Outlook calendar with Absence Requests? For example a supervisor could see all absence requests from his team/supervised employees directly on his Outlook Calendar vs having to go to IFS and view each employee’s Absence calendar for a month.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not an easy request. All the more logical from the managers perspective however.
There is a 3rd party tool (RIVA) that you have to look into. IFS has a connection called CCTI () that seems to allow, in combination with RIVA, what you want. See:

We introduced a similar functionality in Apps 10 Update 8 to facilitate indicating absence requests in Outlook. You can find more details in the news presentation at:
The description and the example is about how to do this for the employee herself, but you can tweak the event a bit to get it working with the supervisor as well.
Also, we added a new page called ‘My Team Absence Calendar’ where you can have an overview of the absence requests of all employees in a team (which you can define) for a given period, without going in to each and every employee in the Absence Calendar. This is mainly intended for other members in the team, which means it only shows the unavailability with the duration. More details are available in the same presentation.
