Hi all,An impact assessment has taken place on the IFS Maintenix tech stack to determine required mitigation actions to secure your on prem systems. Please note only versions 8.3 and 8.3-SP1 are affected by this issue. We will be releasing software updates on all supported streams to upgrade log4j2 to version 2.15.0.2021-12-14 Update: We anticipate software updates to be delivered by Friday 2021-12-17.2021-12-14 Update: Updates will upgrade to Apache’s log4j 2.16.0.2121-12-17 Update: Apache has released a new CVE-2021-45046 to indicate that the below recommended mitigation techniques are not sufficient to contain all possible vectors. The new recommendation is to install log4j 2.16.0 which completely removes the ability to perform a JndiLookup, there is an alternate mitigation technique to manually remove the class file from the jar if an upgrade to 2.16.0 is not possible. I am wondering if there is a way to add following pages as buttons to our Homepage- ToDo List: Database Rule Search Task Search Task Definition Search Fault Search Location Search Our To Do menu is brutally long so this would be a timesaver.
We have a requirement to trigger task details messages when task is marked as error. Can you please let us know if any core trigger already exists when task is marked as ERROR?

A new button called "start Historic Work Package" was available in Maintenix 8.2 SP5. Users can use this button to record the start of a work package that occurred in the past. The user's role has been assigned the permission ACTION_START_HISTORIC_CHECK, but the button is not visible on the start work package page for the latest version. Only "Start work package" and" Start Work Package and Enter Usage" buttons are visible. Are there more permissions that need assigning to the role to be able to see the "Start Historic Work Package" button?

I was trying to find the Release Schedule for IFS Maintenix but couldn’t find it.I found the master article for release schedule that is tagged as a related topic. However, this article didn’t contain any information regarding when SP6 and SP7 is planned to be released.
Dzień dobry.Jak w tytule.Klikam w Enterprise Explorer… i nic się nie dzieje. Także bezpośrednio odpalana “Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application” nie działa.Stało się tak się tak po zawieszeniu komputera w trakcie pracy IFS i zimnym restarcie . Do momentu zawieszenia wszystko było OK. Może trzeba coś wykasować albo w rejestrze coś się “zatrzasnęło”? Bo o ile wiem to instalki w tej wersji niema?Pozdrawiam;Leonard

Who is using Maintenix and has an on aircraft take along spares? Do you have a back shop build up the bag, kit, or case? Would appreciate any guidance on how to set up a back shop task to build a case of spare parts for installation on the aircraft. We are using 8.3 SP1 if the info helps.

Hello, We have the possibility to go to a Barcode with an hyperlink with the following format:http://mtx.afklmdomain.com/maintenix/servlet/ScanBarcode?aBarcodeScan=TRFX123456789&aReturnToPage=/Do you have similar hyperlink definition to go directly to a document in the baseline?like a Refdoc, a Requirement code…? by definition the baseline documents do not have Barcodes. Please kindly request experience of other airlines with regard to cycle count and Portable Device usage on actual stock taking i.e includes MANPOWER ,time to complete one cycle and cycle count plan is required for benchmarking and implementation.
With the upgrade to Maintenix 8.3 SP10, we need to upgrade JasperReports Server to version 9.0.0, this is fine, we’ve already installed it on our Dev box. We have a lot of custom reports and we have used Jasper Studio in the past to develop and publish reports. Unfortunately, it looks like Jasper Studio 9.0.0 now needs an internet connection to log into the Jaspersoft community before we can use it. Our Dev box (and all our servers) are not allowed to be on the internet due to ITAR constraints, we also aren’t allowed to install software on our local machines due to our company security policy. We have a lot of security restrictions that make this process difficult.We’re talking to our Infrastructure team to try and find a solution and are wondering if anyone else has run into this issue and how they have solved it.
