Hello everyone,I would appreciate some guidance on an assyst workflow / ETM use case.In our Change Request (CR) workflow, the assigned user can take an action called “Add Info”. When they select this action, they: add a comment, and attach a file (if needed) This triggers a notification to the requester (email) to provide the missing information.The requester then goes to assystNET and replies by: adding the requested details as a comment uploading an attachment (e.g. the completed form) However, because the requester cannot see the CR workflow tasks in assystNET, their reply is captured on the parent CR event, not on the active workflow task that is actually waiting for their response.What I am trying to achieve is: When the requester adds a

I am creating a workflow where based on the user request (which generates a parent event) I initiate an authorization task to the manager using contact users. Upon their answer (authorized/not authorized) as this is stamped on an action I have those details (whether it is authorized or not) on the task and not parent event.  Is there a way to populate authorization details (information on authorization, who authorized and when) from task to parent event? 

Apologies if I’m just missing it, but I don’t see anything in the Wiki about it either. In previous versions, we could select multiple events in an event monitor using Shift or Ctrl, then right click and take an action on all of the selected events. How do you do that in 24R2? I select multiple check boxes for the tickets I want to action, but as soon as I right click on one of the selected tickets to take an action, the rest of the selected tickets are unchecked. Is it not possible to action multiple tickets in the new version in the new event monitor view?

I’m wondering if anyone has a way to create Dynamic Decision Tasks?  I'd like to set up a Tiered-Approval process where a Decision task gets assigned to the affected users manager.  Then if that Decision task is approved, another Decision Task would be launched and assigned to the manager of the affected users manager and so on until it reaches an assigned user with no manager. I found this in the wiki (https://wiki.axiossystems.com/assyst25R1Wiki/index.php/Answers_Form#:~:text=will%20be%20ignored.-,Reassign%20Expression,-This%20field%20allows). I’ve created a Decision Task with the following Reassign expression.if(1=1,propertyset(assignedUserId=$new.assignedUser.manager.id, assignedServDeptId=$new.assignedUser.manager.serv

Hello,I’m evaluating a request from our users to have parts of an event form in the Self-Service Portal auto-populated based on a QR code or similar technology, and I need some help to determine if it’s currently possible.The users want quick access to log requests for certain equipment, such as printers, hospital equipment ect. We aim to support this, and were thinking of using QR codes for the equipment, allowing for easier event logging.My immediate idea is to use Deep Linking (Assyst Wiki) and prepare QR codes for use in labeling the equipment. Good morning/afternoon.I'm not very familiar with the Rest API and currently I’m developing a project that will automate some events in my workspace, and I'm having a hard time retrieving the full description of an event from a request. How can I include the Change and Incident menu options to my live system, just as I see within my test system, as shown below?  My live system only shows Problem as a menu option  

We recently updated to the version 25R1. Unfortunately, we are now experiencing an issue where all object searches display a maximum of 20 objects as results. We cannot figure out what is causing this. In the previous version, everything worked fine. It seems that a parameter is either new or incorrectly set. Does anyone have an idea what we can check? The IFS support has not been able to assist us so far (which is a bit frustrating). Many thanks for your help!

Hi,I am working on creation of a change management process in a Process Designer. I would like to have a Stage representing Document Preparation in which I do not need a task, as it is simple managed by the owner of the event on its own. However when I do not create a task under a Stage, while running the process it is completely skipped and it drives to the next available Stage.I tried using fulfilment flag at the stage, but it still does not work and also a process is limited to have only one fulfilment stage, therefore this does not work.Any ideas how to solve this? Does all of the Stages in the Process need to have a task underneath?I have the same person running the Event, therefore the key is only to indicate at the Event level on the progress of the Event.  

assyst v11.4Currently, when a Decision Task is received by an end user (via assystNet) they can go into the system and approve/decline the task.  For managerial authorizations (e.g. equipment or access requests) this is fine.  But when it comes to change requests that have a workflow the approver can’t see the attachments unless they are on the parent (“R”) ticket.  This is problematic because files such as test results can be buried in a UAT decision task.  So we are asking the approver to review a change request but they can’t see important documents such as test results or impact assessments.  We have trained our IT (assystWeb) users to attach documents to the parent ticket but often the UAT tasks are actually decision tasks completed by end users via assystNet.Can the assystNet portal be modified to expose all attachments in the workflow regardless of where they are?  Otherwise, I believe we are nullifying the credibility of the approval.If someone has a sol

Hello everyone,I would like to validate a behavior related to SLA and Escalation handling in assyst.Scenario: An event was created with an active SLA. The action “Waiting for User Input” was taken. As expected, the SLA clock was paused (clock status = stopped). The SLA has remained paused for several days and is still stopped until today. Despite the SLA being paused, the system triggered: Escalation Level 1 Escalation Level 2 Eventually, the ticket was marked as breached. Important notes: Escalations are handled through the Escalation Manager (internally designed in assyst). No SLA clock resumed during this period. Hello,Is it possible to filter the available options of a custom lookup field when the lookup list is custom-defined.Specifically, I would like to know whether custom lookup lists support any kind of filtering logic, or if filtering is only supported when the lookup source is a system table.If this is not supported, is there an officially recommended approach for handling conditional options in custom lookup fields?Thanks.

We have a service request that uses a process to generate tasks as the event progresses.  These tasks (non-decision or authorisation ones) are raised using the original affected user details and I want these tasks to be visible in the Self Service portal for them.  I’ve amended our Current Event monitor to include tasks but they don’t show; only the parent service request does.What is needed to allow non-decision or authorisation task events to be shown, please?

Hello,I need to assign multiple Contact Users (for example, 10 users) to the same Item.I have checked assystETM, but I could not find a direct or standard way to bulk-assign users to an Item through ETM.Is there a supported approach in assystETM to handle this use case, or is it recommended to use another method (API, import, or integration) for assigning multiple users to an Item?Thanks in advance.  

Hello team,I'm building a workflow and while doing so, I was testing the process partially, meaning I built part of it and without providing the ending to the process I ran the test to see how the event and its details are created and populated. Unfortunately, as I did so without end of process, currently I am unable to close those event as action "Close" is not available in my actions list.   Could you help how to solve this and close those events? What is the Close action dependent on to allow user to close the event? What are the conditions for Closing the Event? And what are general conditions on the system actions whether they are available or not?T
