Does anyone currently utilize PowerBI for their reporting? Would the assyst community find it beneficial to potentially share some of the different templates you've created or structure you’ve put together to present useful and efficient reports?Thought it could be beneficial to center some of that in a community conversation thread as opposed to having to schedule calls with other IFS assyst customers through our account managers etc! Full disclosure we are in the exploratory stages of PowerBI as we transition from on-prem to SaaS with our assyst instance. Very interested in seeing what people have done and built, and of course if anyone is willing to collaborate and share all the better!
we'd like that a knowledge procedure is shown in assystnet while an incident is being logged. In the wiki we read that it is possible but we didn't find how to configure it. Can you help to find the related wiki page or give us some instructions?
We’ve got some Service Request S records stuck open. The Tasks are complete but it looks like the complete stage was missing when they were created. There is no resolution open available on the S record in order to resolve them manually either. Any ideas on what we could do? Cancelling would send a confusing email to the user which we are keen to avoid.
We’re new to the use of the Service Catalogue so are still finding our feet with it all so apologies for the newbie question.When creating an offering you have to specify a default item and category value, even though the actual values can be part of a list. We’re finding that, in a few instances, staff are just accepting the default values when filling in the form and not actively selecting the required value.Is there a way to have the offering form display a blank value in those fields so that it prompts (forces?) a value to be selected?Thanks
Assyst v11.5.2SmartMail v1.12.5 We are developing a new process in assyst that all starts with a new custom logging form within assystNet. The users completes the questions and then has to attach a document before being able to submit the request. After the request has been logged, the attachment(s) that the user has attached to the request needs to be attached to an email that is sent externally. How can I automate this please by using AP rules and SmartMail without someone having to manually trigger this by taking a specific action and select the attachment? The aim is to automate as much of this manual process as possible

Hello,I’m working on Styling self-service portal, I have some questions below and would appreciate a solution.Need to change the "Favorites" sub-title to "My Favourites" just like how it is displayed in the menu, refer image-1 attached. Refer image-2 attached, (a) we need the boxes present on the below side in the image, to have outlines with color: My Open Events - #3B86C7 My Decisions and Authorizations - #18A88A My Reported Events - #F26B51 Major Incidents - #D91670Just like the boxes present in the above in the image. (b) And the images associated with the boxes should be changed to the images present in the above. (c) Also, the text inside the boxes should be wrapped. i.e. My Open Events, My Decisions and Authorizations, My Reported Events, Major Incidents - should be wrapped. We are not able to make these modifications as we do not have access to the HTML and these styles are applied in HT
Hi there, I was wondering if it was possible to include the link of the event in question in an Action Template? I’ve tried many things but it does not seem to work for different reasons. Here are some things that I have tried:Pasting the link in the template’s description and modifying the link’s event id with the current [EVENT_ID] value. Using the Action Template’s built-in text formatting URL. For the link here I used the same formatting as in #1. Is there a way to do this?
Hello I have been trying to create a relation between all Items to build the CMDB, although it is available in the Item form I haven’t found a way to do it in bulk what I need to update Relations I generated DWM file but there was no file for the relation I have tried to do it through AssystETM with different channels but couldn’t find the fields for relation to link an item to another item I see the relation through “Item Relation” but there is no source and destination on the assyst Resource “Item Relation”AssystETMany idea on how to link it,Thank you in advance for your support
I’m working on the install of the Assyst Web Server and our first setup with the External Message System. I believe I have everything up an going, but posting this to the community in hopes someone might have an answer. Once the log settles down, at the bottom are these errors. I know that there is a feature in Assyst 11.6 to add additional affected user but we are running 11.4.3 version which does not support this feature. We have a use case where end user will be creating a request in AssystNet and will input a additional affected user in a custom lookup field and we need to add that user as a additional affected user using custom script. Did anyone achieve this using custom script using restAPI or through ETM. Would appreciate help on this.
It would be useful for “OR “ and “IN” functions could be used in expressions. For example within customiser forms, a visibility expression of: $W("Lookup Field 1")="Value1" OR $W("Lookup Field 2")="Value2" Thus negating the need for the creation of multiple fields to perform the same function.Anyone else think so? Please upvote :)
Is there a list of known problems that we could look at before submitting a ticket to IFS support? It would be great to evaluate whether it’s a known issue before opening up a ticket.
