IFS assyst

Hi everyone, is there I way (without external reporting) to report on Assyst elements that are not Events, such as SVDs, Services, groups, etc. This would be useful for housekeeping, update and/or migrations. Thank you.

I want to be able to hide this ITEM/ELEMENT “Item.product.shortCode = PIMS” in my look up via my look up filter expression box in my look up field on my form . Every expression I've tried had broken the look up search completely and wont return any results. Hello All, Is it possible to create a Custom Lookup on an assystNET form using Contact User as the single-select-lookup but have the Default Value Expression as the user who is currently logged in?

We are just starting to test the IFS assyst Self Service App (version 1.5.0.51).I’ve been advised by the IFS Service Desk that FAQ categories are not visible in the app. That being the case I am wondering why FAQs is a menu item on the map.You can’t see anything to select on the FAQ page and the search button takes you back to the home page.Is anyone else using the app who can explain what the FAQ page is used for? Have we missed some configuration steps? 

HeyCan someone please help me with understanding the javadocs expressions . In one of my Processes a task is created after a decision. I want to get the description text of the decision which is filled by the user ( makes an answer ) and put it into the following task description with javadocs expressions. I thought this could be right :$new.lastAction.decision.answerRemarks.content Thanks in regards

Hello all.We have encountered an issue where a lookup filter expression on one of our custom forms is failing after adding some additional custom fields to the form. We know that the expression is valid as it is in use on numerous other forms, and was working up until we added the additional fields.In assystNet, when clicking on the magnifying glass to bring up the contact user search, there is an error that the lookup failed.  The expression is:select usr.id from usr as usr where usr.csg.shortCode = 'HEALTH' and usr.usr_flag1 = 'APPROVER' According to IFS, there is no limit to the number of custom fields that can be on a form, however this issue occurrs after increasing the number of fields from 236 (expression works) to 239 (expression fails). If we remove the filter expression fr

Hi, as part of access request workflow we are currently assigning a task to level 2 team to assigning security group for user. We would like to automate this process so did anybody achieve this through ETM? We will pass the users samAccountName and Security group name to a ETM channel and it will integrate with Active Directory to provision security group for that user.

We currently have a form on assystNET so that users can make software requests. Once approved they are added as an item in our product structure. We want to show a list of approved software's, which we can do using a lookup filter. We also want to tell the users about the software in the hope that in the case of their software not being on the approved list, a software that does something similar is. Can you add columns to the lookup table below? Or does anyone have any suggestions for this? 

I’ve created two custom fields in assyst, one allows you to select a Branch, and the other should provide a selection list of the Section Departments in that Branch. The Branch system lookup field has a shortcode of ORG BRANCH Here’s my Lookup Filter Expression:from sectn_dept as SectnDept where SectnDept.section.branch.shortCode = @*@$new.W("ORG BRANCH").shortCode@*@ and SectnDept.csg.shortCode = 'SHARED' This works in assystNET (Self-Service Portal). If I attempt to alter the value via assystWEB, I get an application error.  So, I’m guessing my filter expression is incorrect. Has anyone any advice? Thanks

Does anyone know if the Labels dropdown in assystWeb are defaulted to multiple translations or is this shipped with 11.5?

Hi,My organisation is looking to implement some features using the Contact User form’s User Flags. I am aware that we can modify those according to our needs. However, we have a very specific scenario where we would like to be able to create event queries based on the value of those flags. I haven’t seen those fields in the query form. Is there a way to create event queries using the User Flag values? My organisation is using assyst 11.2.3.Thanks!

Hi All,We’re considering moving forward with implementing a CMDB and prior to presenting to our leadership for approval of a SOW etc was wondering if anyone would be willing to host a brief demo of their CMDB instance?We are a healthcare organization with both owned and managed facilities and are working out the discovery side of things given all of the tools and applications we are utilizing in our environment currently.Even if it was a brief video vs a full on demo I think anything would be helpful to show or have on hand for reference if at all possible.Let me know if this works and

Hi, I am trying to build a new Workflow Process with the Process Designer in assyst v11.5I am not fully familiar with the Workflow expressions, and ho it can help me in aceiving this, but I have a vague idea how they work. Anyways, in that workflow process, at some point, a Decision Task would be assigned to a specific SVD (support team) and the decision they will need to do has 2 more “sub-levels”So, to summarize, that could be something like that:1st Decision Task  = Select the “Level of approval” , let’s say between “Rejected, Level1, Level2 or Level3”then the 2nd decision they neeed to make would be, if Level1 to 3 is selected, then decide if affected user can use “BYOD” or “Company Devices”and last, 3rd decision would be, for each of the above choices, Decide if user can use “any type” of device, or “Phone Only” or “Computer Only”…I know I could build so

Is there a way to pull Event Info into an auto generated email when you submit a ticket in assystNET and assystWEB?Currently, our “Thank you” email provides the ticket number etc. and then the Event Description (EVENT_DESC).  The issue with that is that it shows ALL questions in the form even if they were hidden and/or not filled out. The data we want to show in the email are ONLY the questions that were answered (what shows in assystNET once submitted)We just want to hide any unanswered questions in the notification email. Currently, it shows like this:[[INCIDENT DESCRIPTION\DESCRIPTION DE L'INCIDENT]]No description entered. Hello,I’m evaluating a request from our users to have parts of an event form in the Self-Service Portal auto-populated based on a QR code or similar technology, and I need some help to determine if it’s currently possible.The users want quick access to log requests for certain equipment, such as printers, hospital equipment ect. We aim to support this, and were thinking of using QR codes for the equipment, allowing for easier event logging.My immediate idea is to use Deep Linking (Assyst Wiki) and prepare QR codes for use in labeling the equipment. These QR codes would point to a specific service or service offering, along with the specific item ID for the labeled equipment.However, the wiki only mentions deep linking

Even with the use of SLA Expressions, Assyst currently does not correctly measure SLA’s in some situations. For example, if an Incident’s Priority is changed but the assigned Service Department (SVD) stays the same it does not trigger. In our company we have different SLA’s for Priority 1 vs 2 vs 3. It’s very common for an Incident to get assigned to the correct SVD but after initial triage the incident priority is changed.  

I wanted to know if IFS Assyst can integrate with Microsoft Sentinel or any other SIEM solutions to be able to create tickets automatically for security alerts or incidents? If yes, then what all methods are available for the integration.

Hi all,I have a question regarding assystWEB, do you guys maybe know if there is an option to highlight updated tickets? Not by a notification bell, but by making the title bold or maybe some column with an icon when a ticket is updated?

Within the Knowledge Procedures, we have noticed that the font size is variable in 11.5, whereas now, it’s all uniform in other previous versions. Is there a way to format the font size and style to be consistent within a knowledge procedure in 11.5?  See attachment for example.
