Hi Everyone,I was wondering if anyone has been able to display the Section-Unit Manager as a default value in a customizer form. Does anybody have a method for telling if an authorization task was flagged as not authorized so that we can generate the following tasks dynamically? Currently, we use a decision task following the authorization that uses the function below (called in AP) to evaluate the answer and take a decision. Hello, Recently we’ve updated a custom form to include a new field which was made required in a form  referenced by some of our service requests.However, some of our contact users started complaining that they could not log an event anymore, because it was just shown “An error ocurred.”Almost every time we checked, it was a cache problem, but for two of those users, who use Firefox, even after clearing all the browser data, the new mandatory field never appeared.We ended up reverting the mandatory substituion of that field in Customizer, but I was wondering: given the nature of this issue, which mostly is dependend on end-user browser configuration, do you have any tips or advice on how to smoothly introduce this kind of changes? I was wondering if configuring JBoss cache control to avoid cache would be a good idea, but not sure it would work and even how to test it.Regards,Otmar 

Enhance the Change Calendar to look like an Outlook calendar with the ability to color code types of changes and populate the calendar information with the change request information or a link to the change request within the calendar entry. Currently, the change calendar layout is hard to read and takes a long time to load in production.

Looking for assistance with an assyst task - assyst user expression.We have a custom field doing an assyst user single select lookup. The expression I would need is to call the selected assyst users contact user manager as the assyst user for the task to go to. Example: custom field lookup; assyst userdecision task goes to assyst user of the manager value of the selected assyst users contact user valueMitch OC contact user manager definition of Jason BCustom Lookup: assyst user selected is Mitch OC; decision task assyst user expression to be Jason BI cannot find a way to make this work on current available expression examples in wiki or otherwise

Hi, My colleagues and I noticed some time ago that some system forms, such as the Building form, cannot be edited (at least from the customizer). Is there a workaround to this, or a way to modify it? Similarly, is there a way to create custom lookups on tables that aren’t the Item, Cost Center, or Contact User tables? We haven’t found a way to do this yet, but it would prove very useful. Our environment uses assyst 11.2.3. Thanks!

Hi, I am currently setting up the first sets of service bundles at my organization and I am running into an odd error. Everything is working fine in our development environment, but not in production. When I try submitting a service request from a bundle, I get the following error message in the console:2023-07-17 08:05:50,898 WARN  [com.axiossystems.assyst.domain.events.EventSlaClock] (default task-44) Priority was not matched for and event against the sla =>  [ SlaDto ] ID: 3 ShortCode: CHANGE SLA. No sla response or resolve times can be set for event.assystNet simply states: The requested resource cannot be processed by the underlying application services. I have checked multiple settings related to our SLAs and I can’t seem to figure out what is going wrong. Would anyone be able to help?

Just upgraded from 11.3 to 11.4 (and now to 11.5), and it looks like the built in images are not working in the portal. It looks like all images are still loading from the assystimages folder on the server, which we are trying to move away from. Have tried many things, including what looks to be a related KB article, but I have not had any luck. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hello, We’ve just built a tabular version of impact explorer that we’d like to be linked from events’ forms. Therefore, I created a custom field of type title that I intended to update with an hyperlink to that external report that receives item’s id as an input parameter via its URL.However, assystETM does not seem to allow me to update those title fields directly, even giving me a warning when I try to do so:  Is there any way around this via ETM ? Or any other alternative which would enable me to create a dynamic hyperlink from inside my event forms to external URLs based on the form’s item id ? Regards,Otmar

Hi Everyone, Most of file transfers from external sources for employee data is done via SFTP currently. We download the source file from an SFTP folder to the integration server and then perform a remote upload command. A bit archaic I know but didn’t have much time during our on-prem to SaaS migration to change this so we kept with it. A external system that generates one of our source files is going though a revamp and we are looking to get rid of the SFTP servers to transfer the file. We are thinking of having them directly upload their file to our ETM channel. Has anyone done this before? If so, a couple of questions:Do you have an example of the remote POST command? I do know the examples provided within ETM (powershell and bash) but would like other examples.  What tools/programming language to you use to automate the upload? Did you create a new ETM user for that specific interface?

Hi all, We have a requirement to allow some users to log tickets on behalf of others however, this is something we would only like to offer to a certain group of customers.For some background, we support Libraries and also a Fire Service which contains many fire stations. We have worked a solution but it seems quite ‘clunky’ and the work required to perform this work around is substantial.The final goal is to allow manager to be able to log tickets for multiple sites.Current Solution:Created a new Licence Role and added relevant users and assigned rights to log on behalf of another user. Modified the affected user lookup expression to only show other contact users that share the same section as the reporting user (This doesn’t work very well as not all the users have the same section as others) This will also need to be replicated on hundreds of offerings.Is there any known adequate work aro

Hello all. We are beginning to look at implementing assystChat to our IFS assyst implementation, and I am looking for information on whether the feature includes a console that shows real-time data relating to Chat. What we are looking for is a console which will show number of assyst users logged in to chat, status of each assyst user, number of chats being responded to, number of chats waiting in the queue, etc.From what I can see after installing the Chat integration in our DEV environment and in the wiki documentation, no such console exists. Does anyone have any experience with getting such data from assystChat that they can share? Thanks.

You used to be able to browse online the javadocs found here https://wiki.axiossystems.com/assyst11-6Wiki/index.php/assyst_Javadocs but they have taken the download and browse online off the site. They say you can find it in your assystweb 11 directory but I can’t seem to find it.  What directory should I be looking in because I can’t find them anywhere. 

Hi everyone, I’m implementing Assyst 11.5 in my companyI’m trying to find a way to automatically send reminders to my users and I was thinking about using action processor in assyst. For example, I’d like to implement a 3 strike rules that would send reminders  every x days when a user doesn’t answer to questions in order to help or ask to do something tand be able to solve “dead” incidents / cases after a whileIs there a simple way to set this?  Thanks by advance

We have a lot of change forms which are using substitution keywords $LOGGED_ON_SVD and $LOGGED_ON_ASSYST_USER in custom fields. We did an update from 11.5.1 to 11.6 and I would have expected that the legacy keywords would be automatically replaced with the javabean-like notation, but it still shows the old notation in the forms. When trying to copy an existing form with legacy keywords in the Layout Designer it throws an error: The default value of this expression is invalid.Same error shows up when re-saving a custom field with such a default value expression. Seems like a bug or am I missing something? Best regards,Chris
