Hello, Is there an easy way in the Human Capital Management module to restrict managers from being able to approve their own expense sheets? Currently, their own expense sheets show in: Human Capital Management>Manager Services>Expenses>Expenses to Manage And they have the ability to approve the expense from there (even though we have asked them not to). I am not extremely familiar with this module, so I may be missing an obvious solution here. We are using IFS Cloud 24R1U4 Thank you!

Hi,The database task “Generate Timrep Intervals and Hours” should also automatically generate the results for deviation absences, as described in the community post below: I could not figure out why, the results for the deviation absence im my case is not getting created.The system shows, that the day has a deviation absence active. However, the background job has not generated anything for this case (Public holiday compensation and other functionalities work fine) .Any hint to the right direction is highly appreciated :)KR,Anny

Good day. We are still experiencing issues to Edit a Travel Request. I am able to edit a TR created for a subordinate but when trying to edit a TR for my Supervisor/another team member, I get this error::Please can you confirm what the setup should look like for an Access Role that will allow editing/modifying of a TR? No problems are experienced to register the TR.Thank you.Anya
Hello all,Trick question !Is it possible to define a contractor (service provider) employment agreement in HR, so that this employee can clock in their hours on IFS, but only their managers can see this information ? HR employees would not be able to see these clock-ins, even though they have the role of HR Manager.

Hi HCM experts,Does IFS provide an integration API to terminate an employee via a REST API?We have a third party HR system and when they terminate an employee , we need to call IFS REST API and then terminate corresponding employee in IFS.I know IFS has an assistant called ‘Terminate Employment’ to do this process by a user and an associated REST API for the assistant specific operations however utilizing assistant specific APIs are in most cases not possible or complicated for integations.

The client has the following time reporting setup:Employee: Reports and confirms time. Line Manager: Authorizes time. Project Manager: Approves time.In cases where a correction is required for project transactions, the current process involves the following steps:The Project Manager rejects the time entry. The Line Manager unauthorizes the time. The Employee unconfirms the time entry and makes the necessary corrections.Currently, employees are able to edit their time reporting without the time being unauthorized. The client is seeking to restrict this functionality so that employees cannot make edits to confirmed time unless the time has first been unauthorized by the Line Manager.Is there a way to restrict this functionality?
