Hi,I urgently need to know how to grant our HR Manager, full HR Rights in IFS so she can do her role. She cannot see what she needs to see to create employees, to manage the employee files etc. what do I need to grant her so she can access the full HR element of the system?
Within IFS10, I am trying to add new reasons for leaving which do not exists but each time I try to add a reason I get the following error message: The Leaving Cause already existsDetails:!>Leaving Reason Id=5 Has anyone experienced this before and know how to resolve this?Many thanks
Hi all, we are looking at using Absence Request on Aurena but have come across an issue: colleagues working 4 nights get marked as being off for 5 days in My Absence Calendar. This is a bit confusing for the guy requesting holidays as it looks like the system will take 5 days off him. Granted the last shift ends 7am ‘the next day’ but still… The system only takes 48 hours off in the end so that’s all good. However, in the request overview for the line manager who comes in to approve the holiday - s/he gets 2 records: one with the correct 48 hours that can be approved, but also one showing 0 hours and that cannot be approved as ‘the employee has no schedule for the period’. This will mean a lot of redundant records lingering. Am I missing something in my set up or is this an issue with a fix or something we just need to live with?Many thanks in advance. HelloWe have a following scenario.Some manufacturing employees would like to have an option to work additional hours after their regular scheduled hours. This work would be in different Position.For example:8 hours of work in Position A then another 4 hours in Position BWe are facing few challenges:According to local law regular hours and additional hours have to be imported to payroll under separate employee accounts, this means we need to clearly identify hours that employee worked in Position A and Position B. We tried to create a employee schedule which would contain day type made of two “Normal” “Wage Type” codes, but it is only allowed to have one “Normal Wage Type” code. Is there an option to have two? Not a huge issue, but ideally we would like to have setup where employee’s 8 (regular) hours would need authorization from his primary manager and additional hours to be authorized by the manager where employee is working extra hours. When Employee register absence , application adjusted absence and saved the record. But as system registered the absence with the hours changed , Employee then cancelled the absence which turned it to cancelled state. When the Time card record is examined it is identified that there is an record exists with an error . it is impossible to remove or edit or do any correction on this line . it is giving a message that the absence is cancelled state. If user needs to register correct amount of absence on the same date , it is not possible reenter as below error comes. It is not possible delete the record in Time card , same error comes I tried to disable Rtt Error message (by deactivating ) but once it is activated then it can not be deactivated. I’m having an issue where we’ve reactivated an employee after leaving. When they go into work bench and type their employee number in returns that the Employee is expired.I have all of the dates with his new hire set that I can find and the expire all the way out to 12/31/9999.Where does this get changed so this employee can log into work bench?
Hello,We need to separate the absences from the other wage types during the transfer. While searching for a solution, we came across the transfer group.Where is this stored? Can this be stored in the wage codes? If so, this would help us a lot.Any other ideas are more then welcome
While processing the payment in full post approval of employee expense, we are getting error as “Access denied. You cannot register data to the employee AOLIVIER within employee payment Trans logical unit” We have tried assigning full authorization to user for in training environment to solve this error, but unable to solve it.What is Trans logical unit here?Also, employee which is showing here “AOLIVIER” is not also in our payment list.If someone can help us to understand this ticket further it would be great. I have a quote with the customer type being a prospect that has 80 lines with notes and document texts and each line item has it’s own individual discount. I’m told that I have to recreate the quote under the appropriate customer number, since they are now a customer and purchased something after this quote was created. Is it possible to convert a quote that is a prospect into an existing customer that has an account number? If so, can you please guide me as to how to do this so that I don’t have to recreate the quote? We are using IFS 7.5L Thank you!!Beth
Hi,There is a requirement from our client to mask/anonymize the Customer Email ID only at the Application/client level so that the Users are not able to view the Customer’s personal data. However, we still need the data to be present in the database so that any other functionality such as mailing Invoices to the Customer etc. are not impacted.Personal data Management setup is masking the data both at Application as well as database level..Any assistance in the above regard would be appreciated.RegardsParag Goyal
When entering Address on Person and tagging it as ‘Work’ it will end up on Employee as ‘Private Contact Information’, despite having marked the address as ‘Work’.
In Cloud 22R1, when entering Address on Person and tagging it as ‘Work’, it will still end up on the Employee file under ‘Private Contact Information’, despite having marked the address as ‘Work’ on Person.PD team acknowledged that the current behaviour is not the best way of handling Private Contact Information. They have already started new developments to redesign this functionality to represent contact information in a better way, but these changes will be only available in 23R1 onwards.Since this requirement is important to handle employee private information effectively, it would be better if the new design changes could be applied to older Cloud versions as well.
Hi, As everyone has to deal with employees which are leaving the company, I was wondering how other IFS users are updating the other data fields e.g. “Validity” of the Purchase Authorization Basic Data and “the valid to date” in the Invoice Posting Authorizers. At this moment we don’t update these fields.

Hi, Some of the timeclock functions can only be used when set to manual (not carddriven).We would still like to be able to swipe the card and get the employee no fetched in those function.Is thit possible even when employee card parameters is set up with card data contains employee card?Right now when we swipe the card from the employee no field we get the card no in there.Card parameter is setup properly since it works in the card driven function. I have been wondering about this for a long time: If I work 7 hours one day, the value of “Remaining Wage Hours” is 0.4 hours, which is perfectly reasonable.If, however, I work 9.4 hours, the value is 2 hours - which would seem to indicate that I am missing two hours of work.Why?
Hi,I have added a receipt photo to trip tracker in IOS but when i select the photo to view it. It just opens a blank screen saying Photos. I can view it in App10 but not in Trip tracker. Hello everyone, is there anyway we can set up the employee properties, employee payment methods to transfer the ABA-Number that is needed in the US by the Bank of America to properly process the payments? Here is the reference to NACHA that is also stating the ABA-fields: Nacha_ISO20022_Guide_pain.001_credit.pdf Currently when I have a look at the used transformer: IFS_EMP_ISO20022_TO_CORE_ISO20022.xls the referred fields from NACHA are not even defined. Could someone please confirm my current analysis/understanding, that the needed fields where the ABA-Values are expected are not considered in the standard transformer or please correct me, if I’m wrong.If I’m right: Easiest way would be to modify the .xls-Transformer and parallely requesting an enhancement via LCS-Case for the customer -right?
