I’ve connected to the IFS Oracle db through Power BI before, but I just came across the video below showing Power BI connecting to IFS prepackaged analysis models. Has anyone done that before or know how to make that connection? The video skips passed that part.

Is this only for IFS in the cloud?

Hi @hcskisaak !

From what I can remember you’d have to look into setting up IFS Cubes. Think this is what they have used.

Thanks,

Hi,

To connect to analysis models through power BI, first you need to have a an environment where analysis models are installed. These are related to Sql server,  not to Oralce database. Then you can connect to the analysis models using below option.

Then provide the server name where the analysis models are installed. Optionally, you can provide the cube database name too. If not, all the cube databases will be displayed for you to select the one you need.

You can find more information in here.
