Do you know how to combine two branches and make one topic environment?I have a situation where an attempt to create an topic environment for Branch1 (CRIM1) ends with an installation error, due to a missing column in one of the tables.This column is added in Branch2 (CRIM2), but an attempt to create an topic environment for Branch2 (CRIM2) results in a DB generation error, because it does not find a file that is in Branch1 (CRIM1).So we have a deadlock.From what I have already learned, I can combine two branches into additional one (third branch) and only then create a topic environment.Unfortunately, I don't know how to do this.Could someone describe step by step how to do? Should this extra (third) branch later be merged to Master?Thank you in advance 8-)

Hi Community, Normally If we open a web page in My Start Page in App10, its trying to open the web page inside the IEE client. (It ask to install the plugin for different browser). But is there any way that we can able to open the web page link in a external web borwser (eg: Google Chrome)when we click the link ? Best Regards, Kapilan
Hi ,Application version : App 10 UPD : 16Customer has re-created App 75 custom Crystal reports from crystal client 2013 with correct columns and RP .But when they trying to generate the report from application it only preview the layout.Below things has been tested 1) Try previewing the crystal ifs standard sample report and it working as expected . Report name : modules_CR9_QuickReport.rpt2) There are no errors appeared in intepub logs.3) Data are visible when customer used their custom reports without crystal.4)Tried suggestion in below post and didn't got any result for the customer report.5) Tried with few custom reports and results are same.So the issue is with customer created reports.question :1) Is Application 10 support reports generated from crystal client 2013?2) Any possibility verify the customer generated report ?3) what is ifs standard way of generating customer custom reports ?Appreciate any feedback on this , Go live is on hold due to this.
Posting this in Framework forum since it’s more technical than functionality.Do we have a comprehensive list of File Types supported by “Preview” option in Aurena ? This is for a customer on App 10 Aurena client. Managed to use Preview for PDF, TXT,JPG and MP4 file types. Did not work for MS OFFICE files, HTM, MSG etc.Can we get the Preview to work with 3D PDF ? for me it opened 3D PDF without support for 3D features.Also is there a way to disable the download option in “Preview” window ?Customer is looking for an inbuilt viewer for all file types. Also they don't want the users (with only View access) to download the files to local machines and also print. So at least need to provide a list of supported file types for preview and a way to stop downloading.
IFS asking to create a change order when we try to update delivery control code in PO line and IFS is asking only for below PO. Whereas when we try with order order it’s allow to update delviery control code without creating change order.Also, we checked there is not existing change order exist for this PO.Could you please some help with this topic.
Hi Community,We have a Aurena customer facing below issue when trying to view My Time Registration window but a message saying “Could not load metadata for TimeRegistrationEmployee” appears.Here is the problem summary: Re-creatable only in Test and re-creatable in pre-prod as informed by the customer. Managed to re-create for both My Time Registration and Time Registration.There are two user who is facing the issue and the other is viewing it without any issue.Current findings summary:* No issues appeared to be there with data related to Time Registration in “fnd_model_design_data_tab”* No issues appear to be existing in dba_context view * Page Configurations: Unpublished and re-published page configurations relating to time registration. Caches / Meta caches refreshed. Didn't resolve the issue.* Disabled base profile and person profile and cache refreshed. Still not resolved.* No issues with permission sets. For that, we ideally would connect through an API to fetch the data - but have not been able to find which API is able to provide such. As it happens quite often, I am wondering how the data is sorted initially in IFS Cloud.Why? Just an idea. From my point of view, as a systems engineer, I am working quite a lot in the permission section and the users.And when choosing a specific sorting (e.g. by identity) this is lost the next time I login. From what I can see is that there is some kind of sorting, but it is not clear to me what kind of…Alphabetical? Maybe, but not with values I can see.Numerical? Does not make sense when I only got alphanumeric values. Can anyone explain the logic behind this?Kind regards,Tobias

Server backups. snapshots and replication software have been turned off. What have we missed?There have been no recent changes to the print server or print agent.

Hi all, I have a customer order that has two charge lines. Only one the top charge type is appearing on the Invoice operational report. I am using the stock IFS fields for the Charge_type and Charge_Description on my report. Is there a way for me to show both on the customer invoice report? Thanks, Eli Williams
Hello,Requirement: Add a new buton to Shop Floor Workbench which pop-up a new dialog that user can perform serial mapping.This new dialog is developed and currently triggered via a RMB menu.But the customer requesting for a new Button as they have touch screen at the production.I tried to add a pushButton from the Command Manager to frmDispatchListLabel_Custbut the tool does not allowing to add new Buttons. Could you please help on a way we can add new button on this screen.Thank you!
Hello All, We have an issue in Apps 9.0 where OHQ in Inventory Part is 13 and the Inv Transactions for the same part is coming to be 29 there are 16 qts which are missing.OHQ should be 29 as per my investigation.PO was received and inspected at 3 different locations and later returned for rework.Attaching the relevant screenshots for the same, let me know in case I missed any further info.
