State machine – lock (?) problem

Hi,I’ve got strange problem with state machine. I’m using standard message to change state for selected row (this is master-detail form, state machine defined for master LU): Sal.SendMsg(Sys.hWndForm, Ifs.Fnd.ApplicationForms.Const.PM_DataRecordStateEvent, Ifs.Fnd.ApplicationForms.Const.METHOD_Execute, ((SalString)"Confirm").ToHandle()); This calls single function from LU: Confirm__. There is no ‘magic’ inside, in Finit_State_Machine___ procedure there is only check if all necessary fields are filled with value. However after calling function application hangs for 15+ minutes (usually, sometimes hangs for longer period of time). I’ve noticed (in Pl/SQL Developer) that there is possible locking problem: As I mentioned ‘Confirm’ event is really simple – it does not affect any other rows or tables, works on single row in L_CUST_ORD_LINE_PROT_TAB.Any help, please?Regards,/PC

Parallel developments in IFS Cloud

For customer in Australia, we are planning to do the first release – R1 (go-live with partial functionality) on 2022-06-30 and the second release – R2 (go-live with full functionality) on 2022-10-31.  We are planning to finish developments of R1 by end of April (2022—04-30) and start the developments of R2 in May (2022-05-01). So during the first 2 months of R2 developments (in May and June) and after go-live we will have to do corrections in R1 functionality. If we use the same code base for both R1 and R12, we will have both R2 implementation changes and R1 corrections in the same code base (After April). However we don’t want to deliver R2 code changes to R1 production (or Test) environment.I understand that we should be able to use Corrective deliveries to cherry pick the corrections which we want to deliver. My question is can we use corrective deliveries in the above scenario? Sending the first corrective delivery looks straight forward to me but if there are multiple correction

IAL Failed but Backgroundjob is OK

Hello, my customer has an IAL that was scheduled for the 19. October 7 PM and has a runtime of about 7h.The Problem ist, that the IAL now has Failed Executions = 1, but the Backgroundjob is OK.Hence the IAL won’t run anymore.My guess is that there is an timout in the IAL managment after certain execution time and then the IAL is marked as failed but the backgroundjob is still running and after 7 h finished. Does anyone know whether there is a timeout implemented? Environment is APP9I have now increased the system parameter for erroneouse IALs from 0 to 5, but I don’t think this will solve the general problem. Thanks

IFS Apps 9 / Mendix

Hi, We are looking at using Mendix as a low code/no code platform for building web and mobile apps that would utilise the IFS PL/SQL API’s for interacting with the database. I have seen MS Power Apps mentioned in other threads, Mendix would be an alternative to this. Has anybody had any experience with Mendix that could recommend it as a platform?Regards, Kevin

Report Rule - stop from resending Customer Invoice email when reprinting

Hi, Hope someone can assist me.I have setup a Report Rule to send Customer Invoices when they are first “Printed”.The Report Rule works fine when printing, however when the user Reprints “original from archive” the Customer Invoice to a physical printer, it resends the email again to the Customer.I do not want the Invoice to be resent to the Customer when it is reprinted. (it should only print to the selected printer) Also, when selecting the “Email” checkbox option from the print menu, I want the email to be sent only to the email that I have entered in manually.It currently sends the email the the manual email address and also to the report rule configured customer email address. Thanks for any help.Note, if I use the PDF_REPORT_CREATED event, it works accordingly.I am using Report Rules as I need to use a different field for the email address.  (hence the sql in the Report Rule)

Creating this question on behalf of a Customer (LCS - G2296393-A)It would be really great if you could answer below questions1.    In Time Registration Rest API’s, SessionID is a required value to pass. What’s the exact projection and its object to retrieve the current SessionID from IFS? 21R1: Is there any ability for tabs to be visible/invisible based on the value of another field?

here I need to invisible the ‘OPERATIONAL PARAMETERS’ tab for ‘IFSAPP’ user for ‘Created By’ field.The screen shots contain IFS page and the xml of the page. What should I add to the xml body for that?

Duplicating translation lines

Hi,I have created some custom fields in IFS for Sales Quote reporting.  I then ran Scan Translatable Code for the Order Component and the Layer was Cust.  And everything seems to be working so I can get the translations in for German on the new fields.  However the Scan Tranlatable created duplicates for every previous field.  Is there a way to stop that?  And if not, how do you know which one the report is using to add other translations in Text Translations?

issue with automatic emailing of collective customer invoice via report rule and route to connect

Hello,We have IFS v 8.0 SP1. We encountered an issue following the modification of the check password from an AD to another where ids are differents.We saw, in the help, that we can use a table to map old ID to new one and that what we’ve done before modifying the “Active Directory user integration configuration”.We can now connect with the check on the new active directory. the issue is not on this subject but on automatic emailing of collective customer invoice by report rules via “route to connect”.We can’t find where the issue is so no possibility to fix it.I would like to go another way to email via “PDF_REPORT_CREATED”. It would work but the parameters are not correctly fullfilled and so I don’t have the recipient to whom send the email.I search in documentation and find that I can fix this issue by modifying CustomerOrderCollIvc.rdf and using Pdf_Report_Event_Param_API.New_Parameter ('&VIEW', 'PDF_EVENT_PARAM_1', 'STRING', recipient_); but when I execute the rdf to install t

Is there any option to change the batch size when printing large volumes of invoices?

 The customer is printing large number of invoices at once by selecting around 100 invoices in the Print Invoice window. The invoices are printed slowly, and when you refresh, you can see only a small number of invoices are being printed. When you again refresh, you can see the number of printed invoices are increased.My questions are,Is there any option in IFS APP10 where we can change the number of invoices printed for a given time? Are there any ways to speed up the printing?

Missing features in Aurena - Conditional Formatting, New From Templates, Attachments' view

We are running IFS Cloud 21R2 and our users are still missing some features from EE in Aurena client, like  conditional formatting attachments' view - not possible to switch between Details/Icons/List in the Attachments (Documents, Approvals, ...). Users cannot see all details like approval groups, ... . new from templates - not possible to prepare templates for new objects attaching multiple documents to an attachment window (e.g. Inventory Part) via drag-and-drop. This functionality in IFS10 gives the user the possibility to upload many documents and select different document classes for them.We know some of the features above are known gaps between EE and Aurena, but is there any plan to make these features available in Aurena as well or not at all? If so, can you pls. indicate year/release the functionality could be available with?

Payment Advice emails stopping everyone else from printing

Hi Community,I have a problem that has completely confused me - any help would be really appreciated!We are (still) running IFS8, and are having a problem when we complete our supplier payment run.The issue is that when we create our payment order, the payment advice documents (UNIFORM_PAYMENT_ADVICE_REP) that are created (to be emailed to suppliers) block everything else from printing. The PDF of the payment advice is emailed to each individual supplier via an event action.  Our payment runs typically include ~200 separate suppliers and the whole process takes up to 30 mins to complete. During this time no other print job is able to complete. In the past this was not too much of a problem for us, but we now need to do much more operational printing in our Depots in the afternoon, and the payment run stops them from printing.Our printing is setup so that we have several different report formatters setup to manage printing at different sites:Each of these is mapped to one or more logica

Query about CUSTOM_MENU field 'enabled_when'

In the custom_menu view there is a field called enabled_when when viewing this using PL/SQL the field contents are CLOB, on clicking on the .. next to the CLOB field I can view the contents which return a very long string.  Is there a way to view what this represents through PL/SQL? Thanking you in advance. John

Sub Contract - New Valuation dialog page Aurena

Hi All,I have added some mandatory custom fields in the ‘New Valuation’ dialog page in Aurena UPD 12.  The issue I am experiencing is that we fill in the details when we create a new valuation in the dialog page, but the ‘Sub Contract Valuation’ screen doesn’t seem to get the data (see below)I have added the field ‘Valuation Date’ in this testing as it is not a custom field and wanted to check if the issue was only on custom fields. I have amended many dialog pages in Aurena, this is the first time I have found this issue. Anyone able to help?

Automating Purchase Order Arrivals, Picking etc.

Hello, I am working on integrating Purchase Order Processing with one of our vendors electronically, thru an integration tool (BizTalk).I have queried out the PO data that I need to transmit, and for invoices I intend to use the ReceiveEInvoice Web Service/BizAPI.But I would also like to automate the Register Purchase Order Arrivals and the Reporting Reserved Quantities as picked thought the Quick Order Flow Handling, as the vendor will be providing a ‘shipments’ payload. Before I open up the Debug Console and manually do those steps capturing the PL/SQL to replicate in my own PL/SQL package called from my integration tool, is anyone aware of any webservice or BizAPI call that I could utilise for this?Or any other advice or suggestions on this task?Thank-youRegardsPaul

Error Adding LOV Field in Company ID in Aurena

When a developer attempts to add a LOV (in Aurena) to the company id field using entity “Company” or entity set “Company Set” the developer gets an error as follows (when deploying the client file)   CompanyLovList is redeclared, without @Override or @Overtake annotation. Type: ListDefinition, Name: CompanyLovList, Source: PERSON/LovCompanySelector.fragment, Used in: Client PERSON/LovCompanySelector.fragment   [SourceFile]: C:\Users\amiglk\AppData\Local\DeveloperStudio\Cache\10.82\build_home_cache\__cmbvmpe4158_DEVAPP10_build_home\files\model\person\LovCompanySelector.fragment   [Line]: 35 Below is the screenshotWhen further investigated, it is found that the code generation for any LOV related to the entity “Company” will generate a “CompanyLovList”. But as stated in the error, this name is already used in the core layer in the PERSON/LovCompanySelector.fragment file. Query regarding mismatch between actual OHQ and estimated on hand as per Inv Trans Hist

Hello All, We have an issue in Apps 9.0 where OHQ in Inventory Part is 13 and the Inv Transactions for the same part is coming to be 29 there are 16 qts which are missing.OHQ should be 29 as per my investigation.PO was received and inspected at 3 different locations and later returned for rework.Attaching the relevant screenshots for the same, let me know in case I missed any further info.
