Hello, I am hoping someone can assist or shed light on an issue I am struggling with: I created an FA Object then successfully set its acquisition value ($1,000) through a PO and subsequent PO receipt. I then activated the object. I then increased its value by $10 via a supplier invoice but with no PO. After posting the invoice, I activated this additional investment via the Add Investment - Progress window. Now I would like to increase its value by $100, but this time via a PO receipt. So I entered a PO, assigned it the same FA Object ID, then received, ran transfers and updated the GL. However, when looking at my Distribution and Manufacturing Postings Analysis, I get this error:  “You have specified an object with wrong status.”  This suggests that the object shouldn’t be in a non Active state for the postings to go through. So I tried to deactivate the object, but get an error message: “There are active transactions that needs to be roll

Trying to set up the automation and facility to directly e-mail any manual/instant invoice we create. We have an e-mail event set up, but cannot get customer e-mail to pull through, which field should this be entered on to populate? Another way I had tried was setting up e-invoice in supplier card, the IFS Help section advises I can change the address after saving to an internet e-mail address, but I get an error when trying to change/save this?

 I will get this dialog in apps10 update 16, does anyone knows the solution for this, the same works in production with update 11 ? the invoice should be seen in the Instant Authorization window, if i click on okay IFS crashes and closing down the application.The dialog say that the plugin for acrobat reader is missing.

There is trial balance difference of 238,845.60 as at 1st April 2022. But as per 31st march 2022 TB is tallying. Auditors found few vouchers which tallies to the difference amount from the bank accounts. Following scenarios were tested.The doubtful vouchers correctly posted to the ledger. Back end query executed for manual vouchers- It wont affect the difference No transactions in  hold table  Executed the preliminary year end and unable to complete it. Back end query executed for difference in the voucher date and payment date for the cash account balance report and the GL balance report.- No transactions could find which has gone to wrong GL account. Hello all,At our company we are interested in using RMB for E-mail invoice. We have realized that we have a “conflict of interest” with this function. We have found the F1 help helpful, and we understand how it works. The problem is following: Note; if entered here, value will be valid for all external communication, e.g. order confirmation and delivery note. IFS only allow for one Document address, i.e. no separate invoice address!The F1 help shows that below hierarchy is used:Customer contact will be retrieved according to the below hierarchy.1. We went live back in August and want to tidy our accounting periods up.   We have them going back to 1900.  For a number of years the periods are closed but the year is open.   How do we carry out  the RMB > Final Period Close on the Accounting Periods screen,   The periods are all closed and there are no outstanding transactions/errors etc., reported when running RMB > Validate Transactions in Progress,  but still the Final Period Close is greyed out.  Also, is there a way to carry out a number of year ends.Would it be a case of using Cursor and API calls to perform the same task as running through the process in IFS.

We use the approval process functionality, on the Manual Supplier Invoice screen, in IFS APP 10.  We have created a “Hold for Approval” payment term,  that is aged at 360 days.  When an invoice requires approval(s), before it can be paid, we manually change the supplier’s payment term to this “Hold for Approval” payment term.  This prevents the invoice from being selected to a payment proposal and  paid in a check run before the approval(s) are complete.  Periodically, we then have to query for those invoices with the “Hold for Approval” payment term, to see if the approvals have been completed.  Once they are, we manually unauthorize the invoice,  change the payment terms back to the supplier’s normal terms, and authorize it again.  While this process serves the purpose, it is very time consuming. Is there any way that this can be automated, so an invoice cannot be paid before all approval steps attached to it have been completed?  

Please provide the details steps on how to close accounting year end in IFSAPP9.

Hi,  In IFS10 we are error while matching invoice with PO Receipt. System is asking for creating of posting control M19 and M20 where as the the PO does not not contain any Inventory part and M20 and M19 should come in to pictures only in case of inventory part.   Regards, Mukesh

Hi, I’m trying to transfer my work tasks to the finance module.  The transactions are in a status ‘Overtaken’ and the transaction status is either ‘Not Applicable’ or ‘Valid’.  I’ve ran all the transfer work tasks jobs but I’m not seeing any transactions in Finance and the status is not update in the work task posting analysis.  Can anyone let me know what I need to do? I can’t close the month end as the ‘Validate transactions in progress’ are showing an error - transactions waiting to be transferred from Maintenance.  Which screen in IFS tells me which transactions are stopping the month end close? Thanks.

Raising this question in IFS Community based on a customer concern regarding PEPPOL. IFS standard Customer Invoice XMLs are rejected in PEPPOL e-invoicing whenever there is a Currency Rounding factor defined in IFS.(Rounding factor in Invoice Information per currency window)This happens because, currently rounding is handled in a separate invoice line in the XML which is not in conform with EHF format. According to our customer, this should be handled in a separate tag in the XML, not a separate line. Standard XML formatDue to this issue, our customer is either sending the invoices in mail or removes the rounding.I would like to know whether there are more IFS customers who face this challenge in their day-to-day operations.Thank you. 

We are running Apps10 UPD8 Our Finance department would like to start emailing Customer Statement Of Account reports directly from IFS.  We are testing the setup in our test environment.  We already use report rules to email other reports out of IFS, so I know IFS can send emails.Where we are atSetup the AR Customer Contact information under the Payment tab in Customer.  Output Media is E-Mail. When we run the report - I can see it in Report Archive with Notes = “Output Media: E-Mail, Language: en”  The Printed checkbox is not selected (correct) But - the email is not being sent.Based on the documentation, it sounds like it should just email, but I’m not sure if I need to setup something else.If this should work - any suggestions on where to look to figure out why the email is not being sent? Or do I need to setup a Report Rule to actually send the email? Thanks

We’re getting this error when trying invoice a customer order. It only occurs for this customer. We are able and have been invoicing in USD for all of our other customers and their orders from our company 01. We even cancelled the original customer order, input a new order and tried to invoice the new order. We got the same error.  Any idea what is triggering this or how to solve it?

Our Accounting periods has been set to follow 4/4/5 calendar, the depreciation calendar also follows the same. When we created a depreciation proposal, we could see that depreciation is calculated using calendar month rather than the 4/4/5 period. How can we get the system to calculate depreciation using 4/4/5 calendar. ?
