Hi, Has anybody used IFS to create a bacs file for Euro payments? I need to generate a supplier bacs file with all the fields that are needed for Euro payments to Ireland - doesn’t have to be 100% accurate as we can use other software to generate it in the correct format as per bank requirements. 

We upgraded to App10 in December. After he upgrade we found that some of our reports did not work properly. We have a problem with information extracted from Customer Order lines - Business Reporting seems unable to extract the correct quantity and base price from the Customer Order line.   Has anyone else had these type of issues? 

Hi Folks,   There is an error in Maintenance Posting analysis. Error: Value is missing or has an invalid time interval for posting type TP1 control type C55 code part B in company 1001.   I have checked the prepostings added to Work order and all are added correctly and also they are in Posting control Navigator.   Can you please help here Thank you !!

When trying to post a supplier invoice, an error occurs saying the invoice recipient linked to the supplier is not a valid user ID. Changed the invoice recipient in the Supplier window and tried again but still the same error pops up.

Hello, Does anyone know of set up for Payment Institute / Cash Accounts to restrict it’s use if supplier invoice currency doesn’t match the cash account currency?    It seems in Apps9 it allows me to select a different currency cash account with no warnings / hard stops that it doesn’t match the currency of the invoice in the payment proposal.   I’ve had a payable user not select from a list of values all fields in payment order pop up form, therefore they didn’t notice they picked the wrong one until after the checks were printed.    I know I could create a custom event to perhaps stop this but just wondered if I’m missing something in set up?   Thank you

We found out that since we are working with IFS10 our project costs show a difference between “Actual” and “Used” at the moment it should not. It took us a while but we now dicovered that since the update we get the “invoice to be paid” (belgian, 444000 / 444005 accounts) double in the project costs because in the business event APINVOICE there is a “include project connection” on the M18 and M10 .. where we did not have this before. I can correct this in the database and then we have the costs correct, but i’m wondering if someone experienced the same issue ? And what could be the reason that this got updated like this in IFS10?

Hello, We are looking to use the Bank Reconciliation process where we upload from our bank the cashed checks so we can mass “cash” them.   Our daily files could be quite large.    When we test this process and let’s say want to remove the bank statement due to an error, it’s telling us we need to unmatch each check first one at a time!   This would be very time consuming!   I remember testing this in version 7.5 and pretty positive I could just remove the whole thing without performing this function.  Does anyone know of a way to remove the bank statement in version 9 without having to go to each line to unmatch?   I may just be missing something in set up.   Thank you in advance! 

Hello! Need help in creating corrective invoice for orders with Order Type “SEO”. System doesn’t allow creation of RMA for Service Orders. Is there any way to change the lines/ prices for customer invoices with status “Invoiced/Closed”?

Do you have any experience with using consolidation - component GROCON ? We are using app 9 and in January we are about to consider doing consolidation. There are four companies in different countries, different chart of accounts, different accounting currencies and no third currency defined in some companies.

Hi All,  Is there any solution in standard IFS9 apps for handling import funcitonality as per Indian Custom scenario. Like we have to add Basic custom duty plus social welfare charge and CHA charges on material. And we need IGST tax on Basic material value plus Basic custom duty + social welfare cahrge. I tried to handle it through charge type but some issues are there. Is there any standard solution for this? Please suggest   Regards Sandeep Kumar

Hi Have a problem that we haven't find a proper solution; I guess there is other with similar issues, maybe someone has solved it? We have enabled “Finally Posted Supplier Invoices Analysis” to the end users, this window is working very well. Currently, they can only see what they have approved. Now the problem; we have a group of users that would like to see each other invoices, as they work in the same department and same authorization. Currently, this is not possible, with above window. We have tried with some other ways, but then the end-user will see all invoices within that company, and that is not the right solution (and not allowed according to our process.)   /Karl Linder

Does anyone know if its possible to export a company template from IFS8 and import the same template into IFS10?

Hi - i would like to be able to query all CUPOA’s entered in Biz10 that have been entered in Mixed Payments.  Is there a way to return a search for all of these types of prepayments?

Hello, With a global Installation of IFS and many different payment Institutes it is very cumbersome to handle the output file directories for payment files. is there a way to use context subsitution variables to dynamically define the Output file directories per company, database, payment method … How can this be handled in testing Environments to avoid creating Testfiles in the same Directory as productive System?   Johannes

I am trying to post a customer invoice for return order, but getting following error. Invoice.ACCERROR1: Error (invoice XXXXX currency account is not balanced.) While posting invoice CD XXXX. I have checked the amounts they are same and it does not seem to be related to Currency type. Next thing what I think is could be invoice date issue but not sure. Can you guys please me here.

I am trying to close 2018 in Apps 9 for a company with the main currency of GBP, but the parallel currency is USD.  I’m off $1.50 - which I believe is just a rounding issue.  I cannot close the year, because I’m not in balance.  Does anyone know how to correct it?

On Apps 8 has anyone experienced a sporadic problem when deleting Customer Offsets on the Financials> Accounts Receivable> Manual Payment> Customer Offset screen ? From time to time we get the message ‘The field [Cash Amount] must have a value’  95% of the time it’s fine ! Any ideas would be gratefully received :-) 

Does anyone know how to genereate a file with SAF-T format in IFS apps 9? Does anyone have an instruction for set up to share?  (SAF-T Financial is a standard format used in the exchange of accounting data. SAF-T, or Standard Audit File-Tax, is the result of a joint development collaboration between the business community, the accounting sector and the Norwegian Tax Administration, based on a recommendation by the OECD) Thanks in advance, KR Christina

Hi All,    Has anyone have any issues with EFT payment types on the Remittances sent out to the suppliers?  We currently do not have any bank details in the electronic payment addresses .  My assumptions are that  this is causing the issues as IFS assumes all suppliers are related to one bank account (none?).  What is the minimum data required within the EFT payment type to get the remittance split by supplier? 

Hi,  In IFS10 we are error while matching invoice with PO Receipt. System is asking for creating of posting control M19 and M20 where as the the PO does not not contain any Inventory part and M20 and M19 should come in to pictures only in case of inventory part.   Regards, Mukesh

A printed correction invoice document shows all invoice lines before and after the change. Issue: We have invoices with sometimes more then 50 lines. When 1 line is changed, for example for the price,  50 ‘before correction’ lines are printed an 50 ‘after correction’ lines. Our users and customers complain that it is very hard to find the 1 line, which is corrected. Work around available now Use e correction reason code on the line and print the description on the Correction Invoice document. This helps a bit in the quest to find the corrected linePreferred solution: Only print the lines, which are actually changed. So from the example: Only print the original line and the Corrected line are printed Any ideas how we can achieve this ?

Does anyone know what it is that determines whether or not you see a document preview in top right of Instant Authorization screen?   Many thanks!

In the online help for Correction invoice it shows that it’s possible to hide lines with negative value by clearing the check box Show credit lines for correction invoice in the invoice line properties View Credit Lines tab. But where is this tab? We can’t find this check box.
