Is there an easy way to cleanup the voucher series user groups for all years or do you have to go in one by one and remove them for all voucher series for all years for all companies?

Hi, we are currently using the default IFS report (Apps 8) for creating Pro Forma invoices but the bank details, invoice address and phone etc are missing on the Footer. Where in IFS do I add this information  any help would be greatly appreciated    thanks  Nick     footer

When I configure that i get the following error when i look at external File load ID So i've removed one of the account numbers and the processing of the bank file worked. Bad Debt cash written off pre implementation of our IFS has been received by the administrators and allocated to the customer account, this now needs to be journal to the bad debt account in the P&L. We are not aware of the process for doing this? Is there a way to washout open AR to a specified account?   Thanks

Currency revaluation process allows user to revalue AP balances with specific currency rate defined in the currency rate type. Our customer needs to revalue supplier invoices with different currency rates where in the same GL AC since they engaged in to forward contracts with banks for those invoices and need to revalue with that rate. Is there any work around to facilitate this requirement? Ex: Exclude selected invoice from revaluation process or modify currency rate before create voucher in currency revaluation process.

I am creating a BR where I have a requirement to display the output from an advanced Function Parameter in the report. I am aware that with Simple Parameters, you are able to drag and drop those items onto the report in Design Mode. However, the same is not possible for Function Parameters. How can I display the output from these on the report?

At the moment, when I create customer invoices it creates with TODAY date. Is it possible to create them with the WANTED date as the invoice date? The idea being that the invoice is created as and when the goods are delivered. Is there a setting for this?

We would like to be able to assign shop order labor to expense and not to the balance sheet.   Example. Shop order has two components – a part and 2 hr of labor: Material $100 Labor $20 The goal is to have $100 in Finished Goods (balance sheet) when the shop order is complete and $20 on a P&L account. With the current setup, the labor cost rolls into inventory cost, which results in the total of $120 going into inventory. Since we are not sure what makes up the current set up - we don’t know what needs to be changed in IFS. Any ideas on set up/configuration that needs to be done to accomplish our example?

Does anyone have any tips on how they handle standing orders (Fixed monthly payments leaving the bank) within IFS. We have quite a few, and currently are uploading the bank statement, then creating single mixed payments for each item. Its a long winded process. Is there a way I could pre-load these items? Am thinking external file load into the mixed payments screen but not entirely sure how to achieve. Thanks  

We are trying to deploy e-invoice to generate supplier invoices for the French  Chorus-Pro service and have come across limitations of the e-invoice format. Does anyone have experience of extending the output XML file format to include additional information?

Good day All, Is it possible to recreate / resend a reminder proposal? A reminder proposal is created and the output media is Printout. The proposal is fully  accepted. The proposals must not be printed out but must be mailed to the customers. How can these proposals be send to the customer via e-mail?   Do these have to be cancelled and created agian or is there an other way?   Kind regards, Raymond

Hello All, I have an issue with a CAMT53 bankfile. It give me the error Shortname not found for institute ABNAMRO. First  It could not be processed due to the fact the it had a IBAN Bankaccount in the file and not a nine nummeric bank account. Can someone let me know how IFS is calculating   disc_days_cnt  in payment_term_disc table. payment terms 1/15 Net 30 have 22 days calculated. we have ‘Tolerance Days for Discount’ set as 5 in customer master.  Thanks

Hi Guys,   I am facing an issue in Apps 10 where an Fixed Asset created through a Project cannot be moved, sell or scrap..etc. It gives error saying the project is completed. The setup was as follows. GP3 Account for Project and Acquisition Account for Object is same Reposted to same account   When Project was completed, the object was moved by removing the Project code part. In here reposting debit entry was created without Project Eg ACC01 - OBJ01   DR  XXX ACC01 - PROJ01-OBJ01   CR  XXX   Is it wrong to use GP3 Account for Project and Acquisition Account for Object as same ? What is the way to get rid of this flowstopper?   Cheers Lahiru  

Dear IFS experts We have been trying to go live with the MCPR functionality in IFS for a while. It has been an interesting project. We are facing a potential issue at the moment. Recently, we modified our customer tax codes because of the Making Tax Digital (MTD) initiative and now we are having issues with MCPR when we test the functionality between UK and France companies. Our company in France is not setup with a E2 tax code but we use this code in UK. We are wondering if the tax codes have to match for all companies in MCPR or if there is another way to deal with this. Your advice will be very much welcome. Regards Miguel

Hi Community Members,   Is there anyone familiar with allocating outbound packing material cost to specific projects or activities? Here’s our case: We purchase outbound packing materials such as crates and boxes, and post the cost from the supplier invoice to a code sting  combination that is always the same. Then we sell products and use the packing materials physically. The sale is recorded to activities in different projects. The problem is that the outbound packing costs do not get allocated to sales activities.   Can anyone open up the options available in IFS Apps 9 to handle this type of cost allocation automatically?   Any help would be much appreciated!   Cheers, Lauri

When we create a purchase order from a shop order that is connected to a project, the inventory module is not associating the receipt of those purchase orders with the project.  Then when the material is issued to the shop order the inventory module doesn’t associate the material with the project.  However, the finance module is able to make the connection of the purchase order receipt but doesn’t recognize the connection when the material is issued to the shop order.  This is resulting in the finance module and the project management module to think there is still project inventory on hand.  Which leads the project management module to show greater than actual cost for the project and a warning when trying to close the project.    Does anyone know if we are missing a connection or a step in the work process?   Below is a shop order created for a project.

How do you pick a list of customers and create a batch job to generate PDF statements of account and save the files to a specified location 

We have 215 vouchers sat in error that have not passed through to our General Ledger. All of the errors relate to Manual supplier invoices created by numerous users on or after 16th December. The same update error of “The Obj Connect Lu Transform object does not exist” relating to an IP5 posting control. We are not aware of any changes to our system, so are totally baffled as to it’s cause. Has anyone got a clue how to resolve this or had a similar issue ? Regards,
