Hi All, I am currently trying to understand how we could utilise the collective invoice feature within IFS 10.  At customer level we have set the customer to collective invoice within the Order → Misc Customer Info tab and then have raised several Instant Invoices on the customer.  Should these then automatically flow through to the customer at the date pre-defined within the customer set up? Is the Collective Invoice feature only available on certain invoice types?  Just looking for some clarification around the functionality please. Thanks

Is there a way within IFS to have charges on an invoice show as actual “charges” versus a line item in the INVOIC XML file?  As an example, when an invoice for a customer order with a freight charge, drop ship fee, etc. is printed, the charges show at the bottom of the invoice after the line item; where as the INVOIC XML file for the same invoice shows the charges as an additional line item on the order (see screenshot).  This causes issues when the X12 810 Invoice is generated as the charges are listed as lines versus in an SAC (securities, promotions, allowance, or charge information) segment.   I checked the XML file for the INVOIC within IFS Apps 9 and there is not a section for charges.  I’m sure other IFS customers must have experienced this at some point so I’m hoping there is a way to correct this without rebuilding the INVOIC XML schema.

I am in the process of setting up Positive Pay as a Batch Process file out of IFS, using the standard External File Type ExtPosPayCheck. We have multiple companies in our IFS instance that we pay from.  I would like to generate a single file to send to the bank since all of the accounts are with one bank, but I’m not seeing that there is a way to do this - am I missing something, or is it correct to say that I will need to schedule a batch process for each company individually?Thanks, Cynthia

text from bank regarding SEPA transitionI am looking for guidance on which one of the many XML Transformers in Connect should be used in Germany to meet the October 2023 mandate for the SEPA format.We currently have a rule with MESSAGE_FUNCTION = ‘SEND_SEPA_CREDIT_TRANSFER_DE_04’ that outpus the SEPA XML file to the Application Server. Our accountant in Germany has raised a red flag advising that we must use a new format. However, I am in US and unfamiliar with the work flow and handling of the SEPA XML file. No guidance that I can understand has been provided to me.

Can IFS send  automatically e-mail reminders to customers when payments are late, rather than manually create and send those?

I am getting an “unpack error” while uploading external voucher. I believe this is due to date format. Where, in IFS, i can go and change the date format that it will allow me to upload my voucher?

Does anyone know why I am getting the following error message when I try to export my Quick Report to Excel?Excel Plugin Error: ORA-06550: line 1, column 43:PL/SQL: ORA-01031: insufficient privilegesThe Quick Report runs fine in IFS and, once run, I can output the results to excel, but I can not simply  do the report function “Export to Excel”.  The report is written against a materialized view in IFS.  I can see the view in IFS SQL Query Tool and can preform searches on the view.The report is written using the following SQL statement:select * from c_pol_gl_sales_cogs_union_mvI have tried using &AO., IFSINFO., prefixes to view name with no luck.

Hi All,A user has created a Manual Voucher and he wants to delete or cancel this voucher.The voucher is in Not Approved status and this is not available in GL Vouchers Analysis window.Please advise me to cancel or delete this voucher.I’m in IFS APP 09 UPD 08. Thank you!

The customer wants to send a customer of statement automatically to the customers.He has created a report schedule as shown below:  The question is : how to connect the system with customer contact so that we can send the customer statement of account per customers automatically? 

Dear community.I want to create a customer credit invoice for my Component Repair Order. When I do this via the Customer Order invoice i get this error..ORA-20110: CustomerOrderInvItem.SERVICECREDITERR: Creating a credit/correction invoice is not allowed. Service crediting/corrections should be handled from the service itself. Does anyone know how i can create a credit/correction invoice?Thanks.David.

We are in Apps 10 and want to implement Voucher approval workflow for Voucher Type M and Voucher Type Q, instead of these Vouchers automatically going to Approved status.  We normally use External File upload to upload Q vouchers.First question: I see Ext Voucher Type Q specified as the default. If I wish to use External Voucher Assistant to upload a file of ‘M’ type Vouchers, where do I specify to use Load Type 2 (to load Ms) instead of the default?   Uploading Q (default) Voucher Types does NOT result in ‘Voucher Postings’ (tab)  - only ‘Voucher Rows’. ‘Voucher Row’ data is grayed out/not editable, but Voucher Postings can be edited (in the case that the approver requires a change to the Voucher amount, etc.)  Why does Voucher TYpe Q not result in Voucher Postings? Can we/how can we change that? Thanks for any advice anyo

Hello All, I am currently looking for a way in IFS to quickly understand the impact of material cost changes, and pricing actions that should take place. Currently, we change our material pricing quarterly. There is significant interdependence between our material cost and the pricing of our product. It seems that within IFS, we are looking in the rear view mirror, as we do not know the impact of the changes to material cost until we have made them. At times we are finding that our cost to manufacture the product exceeds the price we are selling to our customers for.  I’ve reviewed a few areas in IFS, but I have not found a module that allows you to evaluate the cost impact of a material price change. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

When I tried to change the Unit Price for a PO created through project demand and then this error appears.  There's no project cost element connected to code part value xxxx can you please guide me through the steps to set it up and what it means? :)

Hello.  We set up the project below, with only 1 activity, where planned revenue is 100K and planned cost is 70K so that planned margin is 30%. Actual cost is 85K all of which was booked in one period. We set the financial project to a Project Type of Capitalize Rev/Exp and Revenue Recognition Method of POC Revenue First.   When we run revenue recognition, it recognizes revenue of 100K and cost of only 70K even if actual cost is 85K. In this overbudget scenario, we would like to recognize revenue of 100K (ie. the planned revenue) and cost of 85K (ie. the actual revenue).  

I closed year 2020 preliminary; is it enough tp generate the profit and loss statement and trial balance. 

HiCan anyone tell me how to add a user group to a voucher type? We are trying to transfer purchase transactions but getting this error message - ‘User group XXX is not connected to voucher type  with function group 0 for accounting year 2021 in Company XX’, but I can’t find where to this.ThanksHayley

I am seeing several posts regarding the STDSIN1 and STDSIN2 external templates, but am not sure it’s clear which one I should use.  Can we use the STDSIN2 - Standard Supplier Invoice File A template to import a supplier invoice with multiple invoice lines each coded to a different account?If so, can someone please provide some detail about how to accomplish this.thanksShelley
