multiple company allocation

Hello there,I have a question on the multiple company allocation function in IFS Cloud.For example, we have a scenario that which allocation happens between multiple companies and multiple locations (one of the code parts) at the same time. Allocate from Company 1 Location 1 -100%Allocate toCompany 1 Location 2 +30%Company 1 Location 3 +30%Company 2 Location 4 +40%Is it possible to use MCA in one company?

Tax Area ID

We are on IFS Cloud and have a customer saying they are getting charged the wrong sales tax rate. We are using Vertex as our tax software interfacing with IFS. I have reached out to Vertex already and it appears one side of the road is one tax rate; the other side is a different tax rate. Vertex told me to set the Tax Area ID so that can pass thru the ERP. I assume this is on the customer record and probably tied to the address we are sending it. I am not finding a field for this Tax Area ID. Anybody have an ideas?

Dear IFS experts,from 2027, it will be mandatory in Germany to import invoices to IFS in X-Rechnung or ZUGPFeRd format.Does or will IFS offer any functions?If not, what is the alternative?Thank you in advance.

POC Current Period

HelloTo test Manual POC, 5% was inputted and revenue recognition was rerun. It now shows 5% in the POC Current Period column of the Revenue Recognition Project Log. I am unsure though which amounts underly this 5% (ie. which amounts in the revenue recognition project log is involved to calculate this 5%?). Additionally, I see 14,988.747 of Calculated Revenue Recognized Accumulated but I cannot figure out how that was calculated. I would appreciate it if someone could advise. I am trying to understand how the 5% and 14,988.747 are being calculated and which amounts are being used for such numbers. I have attached an Excel output file for this. Any help would be much appreciated.

Parent bills customer on behalf of Subsidiary

Hello. We have a situation where our subsidiary will do project work and earn all the revenue and assume all costs but we would like the parent to bill the customer on behalf of the subsidiary. I would appreciate it if someone could advise on the best way to set this up? Any help would be much appreciated.

Activity sequence number on projects having no value

Hello to the communityI am trying to transfer to cost accounting the project postings but get the error “activity sequence number must have a value”. Do you by any chance know how i could get a default activity sequence number on my posting lines when the code part “project” depends on posting control and not preposting? The PRJT2 and PRJT6 are setup to have project according to employee category, but no sequence number is mapped on posting line, and the error comes from the fact that it does not have a value; i tried to exclude from project follow up the 2 accounts used in PRJT2/6 but then the project no longer comes from the posting control defined but is the same as preposting. If you have an idea on this matter, would be happy to discuss it with youThanksTanya

Consolidation Code Part in Cloud

Hi,Group Consolidation is installed. However still ‘Consolidation’ code part function is not shown in IFS Cloud. Any idea? It was there in Apps10 but not in cloud.Please advise. Thank you.

User_ID in New Manual Supplier Invoice - what view/table does it populate?

When creating a New Manual Supplier Invoice, the User Id attribute will auto-populate. Our users would like to see this User ID on the Manual Supplier Invoice page but it is not an available attribute in the Manual Supplier Invoice Group (or any other view that I can find). Does anyone happen to know where it can be found?Second question...If the User ID is not available for a Manual Supplier Invoice, can a custom field be added into the New Manual Supplier Invoice so that the creator of the Invoice (Application User) can be recorded? We would like to know who created a Manual Supplier Invoice.Thank you!

Fixed Asset with incorrect Acquisition Date

I have a fixed asset that was imported with the incorrect acquisition date and couple of depreciation have already been run. What are my options to correct this? Rollback depreciation and deactivate object and create a new object with correct acquisition date ?

Adding new control type for the standard defined list of control types

Hi All,I have a customer requirement to define a posting control based on work type to map the revenue posting generated in sales invoice. As the work type is not a control type which is defined in the standard list of control types available in posting controls related to sales invoice postings, is it possible to define this control type for the standard list of values via a development? Any ideas on such feasibility?

All outbound customer invoices stops after updating to 23r2.3

Hi,After upgrading from 22r2 to 23r2.3 we got an issue with outbound customer invoicesApplication service update: 23.2.3Framework service update: 23.2.3IFS Cloud Web version: 23.2.3.20240131160230.0IFS OData provider version: 23.2.3.20240130110039.0In the menu “Customer Invoices with Errors” the “Send Error Messages” says:ORA-20105: Archive.KEYERR: Report with key does not exist.We tried to follow the instructions from this 3 year old topic and set the default Life time for report CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP to 1826 days, but it did not work. And if i try to “Process Invoice” manually it works.Has anybody had this problem before?

Segregation of Duties - Functional Areas Import

Hi,Has anyone implemented Segregation of Duties in the cloud.If so, are you willing to export the Functional Areas you have added so that others can import these?It seems crazy that there are none set up as default and that we all need to create these from scratch. There are obvious ones (like Supplier Payment Addresses) that we would all be interested in. Then is would be up to individual IFS Customers to decide how they want to set up the Functional Area Conflicts?Thanks,GrahamPS: I will come back and upload mine when I am finished.

Cost set 5 Planned Purchase Cost doesn't work

Cost set 5 is not updated from any priselists - please advice if you have any ideas.I am running on IFSAPPS 10 UPD 17, logged on as application owner IFSAPP.The parts I have tried are all purchased many times and there is an inventory quantity.First ScenarioOn Supplier for Purchase Part I have entered against the main supplier a new prise in a future date.Then I run Product Costing > All Levels Part Cost Calculation although my part has only one level.The part does not appear at all in Cost set five, the window Planned Purchase Costs.Second ScenarioI enter a Supplier Agreement with a period that starts in the future.Then I add my part to the Parts table with a price different from the current.Then I set the agreement to Active.Then I run Product Costing > All Levels Part Cost Calculation although my part has only one level.The part does not appear at all in Cost set five, the window Planned Purchase Costs.These processes have been tried several times after checking basic data eve

Inventory on hand development - transaction sequence incorrect sporadically.

A part with two transactions appears as shown below:If we go by time created, the timeline is correct, but if we go by transaction ID, it is not.And the display by transaction id will cause the balance in quantity on hand development to be -1 instead of zero.The on-hand development screen orders the display in descending order of transaction ID so in reality, INTSHIP for the above part should have had a transaction ID higher than the OOREC.Transaction ID column is generated by an ORACLE sequence.We tried to recreate a similar scenario in the in a recently refreshed development instance and observed that for an INTSHIP to happen, material line reservation had to be done prior and that material line was not available for reservation unless the OOREC received that part into inventory.So, in this situation, the OOREC got saved later in the database with a higher transaction ID (sequence) and an earlier time, but the INTSHIP got saved first with a lower transaction ID (sequence) and later t

Allocate cost to multiple cost centers

I have a scenario like below and need to recreate in build place.Common costs are reported as follows.Rent 100,000Wages 250,000# of calls for Cost/profit center 1 = 200# of calls for Cost/profit center 2 = 350I need to allocate (pro-rate) above rent and wages for each cost center based on number of calls .I used the Periodical allocation guideline but could not recreate . Can I get advice on what is the best way to approach this?

ORA-20105: Invoice.ACCERROR1: Error (Information is missing in page 'User Group per Voucher Series' for User Group NF, Accounting Year 2024, Function Group B.) occurred while booking Invoice

Hi,How do we get more information on this Error? As we feel the users are included in the NF user group and the voucher series are working for other users posting, but for some reason when they try to authorise an invoice it doesn’t allow them to.

Cash Flow Forecast - Manual Sources - amendments

I had some manual cash flow items that I have now removed and some repetitive cash flow items whewre I have amended the value (VAT and Salaries) however they are still showing on the cash flow report when I run it. Is there something I am missing in terms of further changes I need to make elsewhere in IFS? Thanks
