Hi All, Is it possible to customize a report in a more beautiful “manner”, different then the Ad Hoc Reports or the standard UI that is used OOTB? Could this be done in a simple way ? Or potentially requires a project with .NET Framework and in this case is it possible to upload it to the FSM? Best Regards,Frederico Mendes
Hi Team, I am getting the error as “Http failure response for api/fsm/insertUpdate: 0 Unknown Error” while using client script for web instance. I am using updateRow function in my client script. Even though the data is updated as expected but the error keeps coming on screen.
We have the below XML being triggered from a business rule, after commit insert or update on the TASK table. This XML creates a new address (using a custom view) and updates the address_id of the task. We sometimes see that, if there are 2 TASK’s created almost at the same time (with just 1 second delay or less than 1 second delay) then both the task’s are updated with the same address id. The below expression that is updating the address_id returns the same address_id in both cases. <address_id xpath_node="//update_address_result[@result_name='update_tmfb_address']/address/address_id" /> However we see in the database that 2 new address_id are created but the both the task’s are updated with only 1 of them. So basically when we have 2 similar tasks created at the same time then this business rule executes 2 times and the expression “//update_address_result[@result_name='update_tmfb_address']/address/address_id" doesn’t return unique result. I have this problem with implementing a business case. The case I have is as follows. In task_steps I have filled in a quantity (lets call it x) in user_def_num1 for step_id =66 This task_steps record with a quantity needs to be processed by the business rules and add a non_part_usage record. My business rule needs to output the quantity if it is higher then 25 and then create the non_part_usage record with a quantity of x - 25. I am trying to do this with an XML business rule, but I am aware that I need to use some expression. I only do not know how to do that. This is my code which needs to insert the record. As you can see I fetch the quantity with an xpath_node from an hierarchy_select result called ‘result01’. I need to import data into the the tables PLACE, PLACE_ADDRESS and ADDRESS from a single table in an excel file containing 1429 rows. I have set up an Import map for the task, and defined the appropriate fields in the map, aligning the relevant columns from the excel file and the columns for PLACE and ADDRESS, this works pretty well. Final step in the same map is to connect the PLACE and ADDRESS rows to the PLACE_ADDRESS table, definingPLACE_ADDRESS.PLACE_ID → Parent table/column PLACE.PLACE_ID PLACE_ADDRESS.ADDRESS_ID→ Parent table/column ADDRESS.PLACE_IDI have tried many different setups, but without success. Hi ,can anyone tell me, how to apply the custom theme in FSM .i have copied the default.xaml and chaged to globaltheme.xaml and provided the primary and secondary color .The globalTheme is deployed in the theme folder.i have even given the path in app param (PATH_TO_CUSTOM_THEMES).But the custom theme is not reflecting .Can u tell me what is the step that i am missing here.Thanks Muthujayashree R
We have recently upgraded to FSM 6UPD9 to make use of the ODATA REST APIs in order to integrate our external applications with FSM. Very often we are getting a request channel timeout while using the ODATA REST API’s. Once this starts every call fails. Message:Error occurred while getting EDM model from app server.System.TimeoutException: The request channel timed out while waiting for a reply after 00:00:59.9970047. Increase the timeout value passed to the call to Request or increase the SendTimeout value on the Binding. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout. The ODATA rest API's makes a call to the FSM server "<perform_get_updated_odata_edm>" to get the data model. It basically asks for the database table structure of ~1200 tables in FSM, which looks to be a very time-consuming operation. My Question is a high level question : I understand that Customer is the one who calls and asks for service so we create a request in the system . the request than has a task in it. When do we know we need to create a RMA for the customer , if RMA has been created to Replace the part then who goes to collect the faulty part and deliver the replacement , basically what is happening on ground when we click on Post Shipment , the faulty part can be replaced by the technician but against which activity this will be tracked. If my technicians are deliverying the parts to customer then where do we track it.
Hi, I’m testing the oData REST API to download/upload attachments in FSM, but I’m facing some issues.I can get the attahcment info (but the “email@example.comReadLink” attribute). However I don’t get anything, while trying to retrieve the binary data (prints attached) Additionally, I’m not able to change the stored flag for manually added attachments. Thank you,João Oliveira
