Field Service Management (FSM) & Planning and Scheduling Optimization (PSO)

Hi Team, This is regarding creation of a business rule. The action that I am looking for is as follows; Person One has Skill A, B and C. Place has Skill A and B.Person Two has Skill C.If I assign Person One to Place One, I am not stopped.If I assign Person Two, I will get stopped by a validation Business Rule.I am having difficulty using validation BR as it does not seem to process that A + B. It seems to process the rule as A or B. Am I able to use validation BR for the above? or Must I use XML BR?If I need to use XML BR, is there any sample XML code that I can be provided with?    

I want to add a search bar at the top of the product list screen in the mobile environment, similar to the configuration available on the customer screen. However, since the product list is a list-type screen, I am unable to add an extra field to this screen.Is there a way to add a filter or search functionality to a list-type screen? If not, is there any alternative solution to achieve this functionality?Below are screenshots of the product detail screen and customer screen for reference.Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Team,We are facing an issue in the FSM application. In the Escalation tab under the Task screen, the 'Minutes Open' field is supposed to update and reflect the total ON HOLD duration once the escalation is completed.However, for some tasks, this value is not updating.To identify the cause of this issue, we checked the business rules and found one rule where the 'Minutes Open' value is being updated. When we executed the script through XML Poster, we identified a configuration issue at the database table level. Hi All, We are getting the following error while initializing the dataset from FSM to PSO.There was no endpoint listening at https://<<mypsoserver>>:8744/IFS/Scheduling/Gateway/Service/Session that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details. Please advise, what could be  missing in configuration?GATEWAY scheduling app param has already been configured.

Is there any way to manage the FSM Mobile menu which is displayed on the left hand side of the screen when the device (a tablet in this case) is in landscape mode? We’d like to manage contents or disable entirely if that isn’t possible.We thought this was governed by the Debrief Menu but it appears not!Thanks  

Hi,When testing the connection in IFS Cloud (24R2) to PSO (24R2), it keeps failing. Upon initial configuration, the following error appeared.  “Failed to connect to IFS Optimization server account Default. Error message was: 403 - Forbidden. The user IFSSCHEDULING and the parameters OpenIdAuthority, OpenIdClientId, UserNameClaim may need to be set up manually. Do you want to continue?” I’ve reviewed other community posts that had similar errors and they were able to resolve it by whitelising the IP addresses.  I’ve checked with the customer and they said that the environments are running on the same server and able to ping each other successfully.  Are there any other issues during setup that can cause this error? In PSO, the parameters are blank.

Hi I have upgraded FSM625 V to FSM630 after upgrade  i could not able to install smart client application i am getting below error during installation i did not see any error during upgrade and web client and mobile applications are working fine. Hi,Using FSM6U13, PSO 6.7.0.30We are currently having some issues understanding the schedule status in FSM. On the task, as my understanding, the scheduling status should be changed based on the status in PSO. However, we are currently experiencing a lot of the tasks that are open have no scheduling status in the task table. Is there any smart way to troubleshoot this particular issue?

 i have created a and element and added it to lobby screen, the element has variables on it. when i try and link the variable to a look up it shows the dropdown but does not show the valuesi tried using a SQL datasource and the Query Builder and neither are working any guidance would be appricated here is the datasource it has 4 valuesadd the lookup to the looby dropdown has 4 blank values listed in the dropdownselecting any of them does not filter the results

Hi,in FSM Webclient it’s only possible to delete a note which was created by the login user.How can a note be deleted by another user?Is there any setup defining it?     

Hi IFS Community, we have several ad-hoc reports built for us. When I check to the report wizard, some reports can be edited.(“Edit” window will be activated when the “Edit” link is clicked).Some reports cannot be edited.  Although the “Edit” link is active, but it doesn’t do anything when it is clicked. Is there any setup in the design time that can prevent the editing? Version: FSM6U13. Thanks in advance for your response. Best regards,~Juni

I havce a business rule that fires off TASK_EVENT notifications, however one rule picks up a value from REQUEST (REQ_TYPE). The rule will not match the value in REQ_TYPE, even though it is the correct value and i have confirmed this in the Audit Table.  I suspect it is a join issue between the two tables. I have it set up as below, is this correct? are there any other things i should check?

I am attempting my first client script. We curently have a button on the Request screen that runs the START_WORK_FLOW MPM on the Smart Client. This does not work in the web client as I am told it must be triggered via a Client Script. I have attempted a basic script to do this as shown below.  However it errors as follows.  The syntax I have used I think mirrors what I have seen in other examples.
