resource analysis in IFS cloud showing future dates

In work task reporting in service management module, user cant fill the hours in future date which is understood but when I am going to resource analysis, it is showing the calendar from future date only, why? I wanna see how many hrs are logged by resource in the past.

Value in datatable gets truncated

Hi,in a datatable in the UI designer a field gets truncated (web-client).I didn´t find a solution. I tried with length an control-type but it has no effect.Custom Metadata for the field:Max Chars 1024Column Type STRING (also tried LONGSTRING) The text is completely visible in the datatbase!Does anybody know how to slove this? Thanks

Capturing a value from a json response of an FSM outbound call

Hi experts,BackgroundI am trying to make an authenticated call to an external resource from FSM. The authentication used is OAuth2 and the the data consumed and returned is in json. I initially attempted this using a routing rule with OAuth2ExtractHandler and JsonOutboundConnector, which is not working as the token extraction fails (I raised this here) . Now I’m trying a different approach.I make a dummy map to create a call to the authentication endpoint to retrieve the token. Then I store the token as a custom app param. I use the above custom param (which bears the token) to send authorized calls to resources. ProblemI created the dummy map and routing rule as following, This successfully gets the authentication token as following, I created a custom app param and I’m trying to save the above retrieved token as the param value below I tried the following approaches,1. Removing installed parts

Hi.We are currently trying to figure out how to remove parts from a site. For instance if the site gets shut down, how do I remove all the parts using the mobile app? There is a remove parts screen, but nothing shows up.The way we want it to work is have a task for the site and then select parts from a list to remove them.Any help on this would be very much appreciated.

XML Maps - Integration function result

Hi, We are creating an incoming message to Create or Update a Task. In this incoming message we will also create/update one or several task text entries related to the task.Our requirement regarding Task Text, is that for a specific task we can only have one task text per text_line_code. Example: For task with task_id = 100 we can have 2 task texts one with text_line_code = TYPE1 and other with text_line_code = TYPE2, but we can not have two task texts entries with text_line code = TYPE1.To meet this requirement we have created a integration map function to do the validations, Before mapping (we will save from this function information for fields: text_line_code, text and text_sequence). The function is working correctly when we are creating/updating only one task_text. However when sending two task_texts, the function runs two times, but it only saves the result of the second time it runs, meaning that both task text entries will have the same information(text_line_code and text).Does

App Param: FREEZE_REQUEST_STATUS

Hello, Question regarding App Param: FREEZE_REQUEST_STATUS on FSM [6u13] Our goal is to “lock” or “freeze” a request when it has reached a status of ‘complete’ , ‘CO’ so that no one can edit details of the request. We have set our [code table] to include the correct codeI believe we have set the App param correctly Currently I can open a “completed” request on the UI, and change values on the request table (like request.payment_id) and save changes Is there an additional step I need to take to “Lock” the records?

FSM6 - Mass Insert from XML Hierarchy Select

Hi All,Does anyone have recommendations on how to mass-insert records from a XML Hierarchy select? Our goal is to automatically add “person_place - PORTAL_PLACE” records when a new place is created in FSM, based on the place’s global_name. i.e. new place (PlaceA) is added for global_name (Spencer)hierarchy select retrieves all person_id’s for people that have Portal_Place entries for “Spencer” Mass-insert inserts a new person_place record for “PlaceA” for the people identified in the Hierarchy Select. We tried with Mass_Update, which seems to be limited to “update” or “delete” only.. we can’t insert new entrieswe tried with Perform_batch, but the insert portion only applies to the 1st result of the hierarchy select (multiple results, always just 1 insert) sample of the perform batch: <perform_batch><hierarchy_select result_name="ppinsert"> <primary_table>person_place</primary_table> <from>person_place</from> <attrs> <attr>person_

Hi,I would like that a technician could do quotes on FSM mobile. We have a menu “Quotes”, but what are the settings required to allow a tech create a quote / delete a quote on FSM mobile ?On the standard screen, i have the menu, but it seems I’m not allow to create a quote. What can cause the "Send log files" option in FSMi > Admin to become disabled?

Customer says, “Also my users are seeing their Send log files on the mobile grayed out. Is that something we can fix so the ones with issues can pull logs?” Customer is reporting sync issues with their mobile users.What can cause the "Send log files" option in FSMi > Admin to become disabled? Saving Input to records in Lookup screen

Hi all, I am using IFS Release 6, Ver 18.I have a custom Lookup screen. I have added a user_def field as checkbox type in one of the listed columns. My question is how do I save inputs to this checkbox field from the lookup screen? Inputs meaning, when I check the box.When I click save, I get “no changes to save” message.

Limiting DropDown value based on specific parameter

There is a requirement to limit drop down of Task-Template on contract-pm based on value of “Brand” field on Contract Product.Eg.Contract Product has Brand = A5User-Def1 of Task Template = A5In Contract PM only Task-Template (which has user-def1 = A5) will be populated There are 5 task-templates which connected to brand (user-def1 value) = A5 Expected result: the task-template in Contract Product\PM only shows those 6 task-templates.(not all templates like currently) I tried to setup using “Lookup XML” of field task_template but could not get correct connection and contraint. Address/location & region in work task

hi In FSM module in IFS, I created a location & tagged it with a region. Inside the task of that service request, I chose that location but I am unable to see region populated by default.The region to which location is taggedI entered this location in work taskRegion is not populated and I cant add that as well. (under PSO scheduling information in the work task) Since region is not there inside the task, when I am using View eligible resource in dispatch console, it is not applying any filter on region which I expected. I am trying to remove the location so that I can manually add the region but I don’t see any option to remove the address in the task once entered.

FSM 6 Installation

Hi all!We are having problems when it comes to installing FSM on our server:When we are already on this screen:Start installing and give us an error. It manages to install the DB successfully, but gives an error when creating the views, even in the installStatus logs.log says the following: ...completed. Creating views for FSM 6...Error occurred: Incorrect syntax near 'Microsoft'. Msg 102, Level 15, State 1, Procedure , Line 1. (check installStatus.log or FSM6_CreateViews.log for more info).But that other log you mention is blank. Does anyone know what could be happening? Thanks!

Person not visible in Direct allocation in service management

In the work task --scheduling & allocation in service management, in the direct allocation, it does not show any LOV in Allocated to person, so how can we bring /create a person that shows up in direct allocation. I can see that person in Allocations on demand.
