Hello everyone,

I have a question.

It is the first time I am trying to set up a wadacco process - generally, I would like to set up a process in a way that it coppies the process in IFS Cloud:

  1. Inventory part in stock reservations
  2. Type - shop order material
  3. Mark the given shop order
  4. Pack the items on a handling unit
  5. Move the handling unit with Transport task into the shopfloor warehouse
  6. Start the transport task

I have tried to use the default processes like:

  1. Manual Issue Shop Order Part
  2. Attach Part to Handling Unit
  3. Process HU on Transport Task

But they do not follow .. and the material is issued already after the first step without the packaging or the transport task themselves - so I guess I am missing something.

Lot / Batch numbers would be optional, not mandatory. Handling units to be picked out of the list of handling units (not default). Transport task would be started and also finished in the same step once loaded on the highlift.

Does anyone has this set up already and is willing to share?

Thank you,

Best Regards

PetaKu

Hi @PetaKu ,

You have the flexibility to configure the WADACO process as per your business requirements using Data Collection Configuration screen.

The default configuration for the system-defined WADACO processes are configured for a general business scenario, which might be different from your business processes. Using the Data Collection Configuration, you may change the order, on/off LOVs, set default or fixed values and do many things to suit your process.

Below documentation links provide a comprehensive explanation on Warehouse Data Collection and the activity diagram to Handle Data Collection Configuration.

Furthermore, if necessary, customized WADACO process can also be developed through a customization.

Hi @PetaKu ,

It sounds like you are looking for the following to occur:

  • Material is reserved to Shop Order
    • Note: There is no out of the box WaDaCo configuration that will create the Reservation for you.  This must be completed in the web application.
  • Attach the parts to a Handling Unit and move them to the Production Floor via a Transport Task

There would then need to be another configuration to allow a user to issue the material on the Shop Order or it must be backflushed.

Can you share some additional details?
