I've created a file storage repository and when creating a revision of a document, there is a problem with saving the file. When I try to write, I get the error below.  The repository configuration looks like below. In addition, I changed the settings here. Should I set anything else? 

Hello Everyone, There is a requirement to send Attachments  with the same email of the Purchase Order’s Print Order...The mail should contain the attachments of the Purchase Order as well as the Purchase Order report.This should be happen only if the attachments are in specific document classes eg: 4600 - 4699.This should be work in Aurena as well. Please let me know if you have any idea of how to do this.  Many Thanks,Denuka

The customer wants to direct his share-point documents to IFS application through an BIZAPI integration (using an XML file). Like we can attach oracle path/local documents by just giving the file path (eg: C:/IFS/PROD/PDM/ABCDE123.pdf) through an object property , is there any method we can use in this scenario to attach those share-point documents? If there’s no any way, what is the best approach we can give to the customer as a solution?

Hello, How can I update data in one column without using UPDATE statement? In this column I have some date values in format for example 01-DEC-24, or 03-JAN-23 but also some NULL values and I want to change those values to null with using SELECT statement, but I am not sure how can I change the data in existing column. My SQL command works but I am not sure if I can update existing column in entity configuration through + icon. Thanks

HiI am having a problem give permission of “Work Assignment Information” tree view to general users. This tree view is under the window My Task ( under Service and Maintenance module, attached ) in IFSAPP10. I have already checked both presentation objects and Database objects in the permission set window but unable to find anything related with the text of tree view menu, so, unable to give permission from permission window. The users I am trying to give permission can access My Work window.  Thank you

 In Apps 10 there was a LTU for document management. Similarly, for 22R1  is there a LTU for document management area? Or any other LTU which covers the document management functionality?

Hi, When a new record is created on the Document Revision screen, I want IFSAPP to automatically be the responsible person of the uploaded document for a certain document class. I tried to do this as an event but it doesn't seem possible. How can I do this?

Afternoon, Has anyone ever found a location for the Approval Creator? Basically, what I’m attempting to create using a custom event is to email the creator of the approval process if the approval line is ‘Approved’ I’ve checked some of the views such as Approval_current_step and Approval_Routing and neither of these have the creator of the approval process. Any ideas? Kind regards,Ryan

We have documents flow from Business Opportunity to Customer Order - in one instance a bunch of documents flowed from Business Opportunity to Customer Order but we don’t actually want them on the Customer Order.   How can I detach them without losing the original document attached to Business Opportunity

Hello All, Our customer wishes to use digital signature functionality so they have created a new custom event action for event DOCUMENT_APPROVED. Method:Edm_File_Sign_Util_API.Certify_Pdf_File (‘&DOC_CLASS', '&DOC_NO', '&DOC_SHEET' , '&DOC_REV' , 'Signature from IFS'); They have generated new user certificates in keystores window and when the user try to approve the document, below error “Invalid file name” comes.As you can see there are no special characters in the file name. Hello, My customer is using Aurena, and would like to attach documents such as supplier delivery notes to the Register Arrival Lines, so that after receiving the parts into stock, and the Receipt is then created, the same documents will appear on the Receipt.In Aurena, I have noticed that the Register Arrivals LU is ReceiptInfo, which is the same LU used for the Receipt screen. However, they have different Projections, so I am unsure as to how we would create this object connection transformation. I also looked at this in IEE, and the Register Arrivals screen uses a different LU to Aurena, as it uses PurchaseOrderLine instead of ReceiptInfo, but even when making this an active object connection its not possible to attach documents here.My question is, has anyone used the Register Arrivals window to attach documents before, and if so, how was this achieved? Hello,Surely, I must be missing something.  I have a document(s) attached to Project Definition but I cannot view the document from the attachments pane.  The eyeball isn’t there.  I don’t have a problem using view document from the document revision itself.  Any ideas what would cause this?  Patrick

Background:From the beginning of IFS Cloud (in Aurena ) , there were concerns of not being able to upload multiple document files into the Attachment section of a single Business Object. Having understood the requirements around the user experience, a fix has been delivered to all IFS Cloud tracks except 21R1 version.RnD Solution:The possibility to call “Create Documents”  was brought back when standing on an Attachment section of a business object. “Create Documents” page supports to Drag/Drop or Select single or multiple files and crate document accordingly attaching to the respective business object. This is handled by adjusting the  Document Default Value for “ATTACH_CREATE_NEW_FORM”  in the Document Management Basic Data setting.( Document Management > Basic Data > Document Default Values > ATTACH_CREATE_NEW_FORM)

 We are on Apps 10  UPD 14 and one of our departments is using Aurena at the moment. We’re having an issue with the approvals panel. The notes get cut off. This field in IEE is 2000 characters long but when the step is approved in Aurena, you can’t see what the notes say. Is there a way to change this behavior? Can I modify the attachments pane approval tab to have the cards show custom fields? I’ve looked at this for a while and I can’t figure it out. Notes are cut off. Text does not wrap and once the step is approved, you can’t view the entire note. 

Sometimes when I upload large files via IFS DocMan I am getting the above error message. Any way to bypass this?

Hello,when I attach an attachment in IEE, the attachment is not available in B2B. If I attach an attachment in B2B, in IEE is available. So the problem is just from IEE to B2B.attachment is released no matter which object (Purchase order, Customer order,…) the problem is also in AurenaI tried to set all projections and object transformation but I started to get insecure, so there can be some mistake. Thank you form help :-) 

Hi,We have set up a new report rule to get the PDF from our Project invoice print, check it in Document Management and attach it to the Project Invoice screen. It works really well if the Document Management repository is set to Database but we cannot get it to work if is FTP. We are in Apps10 UPD6.Has anyone got a report rule Check in Document Management to work with FTP or do you think it is a restriction from IFS?Many Thanks and Regards,Anne-Sophie

One of our Customer would like to implement an interface with Docusign. Seems that we have some available API like CDocusignSignerEntity. Is this standard and if yes, do we have some use case and example ?

Hello everyone,i have a question? I made a definition from the approval template.I chose the approval template that I defined in the approval process. After selecting the approval template, I cannot see which template I selected during the approval process. Is it possible for me to see the template during the approval process? Or can I learn it with the function?I would like to explain my question with an example. Template 999 has been created in the approval template(image1).I then chose the approval template 999 during the approval process(image2). I can't see that I selected 999 approval templates in the approval process.Best regards Mervan 

Hi,I’m trying to preview attachments connected to an  'External Supplier Invoice'  in cloud 21R2 but could not see the image attached.Installed Aurena agent but the issue remains the same.However I could see the Attachment using 'Preview' button on Attchment Panel, when the External Supplier Invoice is converted to an Invoice.Thanks!Bhagya
