Hello,After IFS Cloud update to 24R1 version there is no possibility to use Document Repository with Repository Type “Shared”.Client used Repository Type “Shared” and all document files were kept there. After upgrade client cannot access document files from Document Revision. Receives error: Error in downloading file: one or more errors occurred.First question: How to reach the document files after upgrade to 24R1 version if they are uploaded to repository with type „Shared“?***We tried to create new repository with file type „File Storage“, in the field „Path“ (in the form „Repositories“). hi , i have set up word macros in TARMAC environnement (21R2) to create word template document for business opportunity.Despite the settings done in document management  and the aurena print agent installed in chrome, the macros do not run. is there other settings to do, please ?Thanks for your help .BR Emmanuel

New to doing DocMan in a Cloud environment.What would a user be unable to perform with the Aurena Agent not installed, i.e. can most functionality (create, edit, check-in, view) be done without it?Asking as I am expecting a customer to not have the address info required for running the MSI installation, and unable to configure any User Settings. 

We have a user that when they try to open this file in Aurena, it won’t open. This is the error they are receiving. They can open other documents but not this one and I can open this document so it’s not document format related. They can also open it in IEE, just not in Aurena. This is the only document they’ve come across that won’t open and always gives this error in Aurena. Any troubleshooting steps will help. When extracting the specific errors it’s throwing, there is an error that says “This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.” The more puzzling issue is that this is an Adobe file. 

In document revision screen in general tab while clicking on View/Edit/Print option I am not able to see the report which is checked in. but from database in EDM_FILE_STORAGE_TAB I can see the PDF report. I am getting the information message as shown in the screenshot.Appreciate any lead or help for the fix. Thanks in Advance. 

Hi ,As part of the cloud migration project from App9 to IFS Cloud, we need to know how to transfer documents from APP9 FTP to Cloud Azure Blob.Currently, documents are stored on FTP, and we hope to move them to Cloud Azure Blob.We recently updated 24R1 to our Cloud environment, therefore FTP will no longer be supported in the future, so we'd need to know how to migrate the document from FTP to Azure Blob Storage.Is there anyone who has done this before? We are an IFS managed cloud customer, and we want to know if this is doable. I have a question. Is it possible to configure the repository of the "File storage" type in such a way that the files of attachments of different classes of documents are stored in different directories and not in one collective "Docman"?

We are trying to create a Report Rule for Shop Order Pick Lists, Report ID SHOP_ORD_CONSOL_PICK_LIST_REP which should connect created document revision to the shop order. On the action “Check in to Document Management”, unfortunately there is no LU ShopOrder available from the list of ConnectedLU.Is there a way to solve this, i..e. to extend the list of connected LU’s ?   

Hello, We are working in IFS cloud v24r1 SU3 In the document management structure of IFS we have a very simple set up. one person group with every user in the group. The group has full access to the access templates we have set up on the app. I would like to know the capabilities of distributing the documents in the platform. is there a way to distribute attached documents to everyone in the person group? is there a way to distribute attached documents to people i select within the group of people

Dear experts,With IFS Cloud 22R2, when using the create document assistant, the view copy (PDF file) is not imported in addition to the original document.On the contrary, if I check-in a document from the document revision window, the both files (PDF & original) are imported.Is it normal that it is not working with the create document assistant ? I remember that in V8, it was working.Thanks for your help

Many of my users are experiencing a problem where it takes several minutes or more to attach a document. Documents are stored in the database, and these are local users to the server so not a network issue.  They are in chrome with the appropriate plug in’s and are browsing to the documents. Running 23R1 Update 7

Dear Community,  Have anyone seen that error when we try to open an attached file from IFS EE Apps8?  When I checked the check out folder, it looks the attachment file was not created. It looks EE are not able to create the file there. But the test environment is able to create the file and open it without any issue. This happens in every client machine, not just in only a few. Has anyone seen this earlier? Thank you very much for any thoughts. Best regards, Balazs

Hello,I have IFS Cloud Installation Using 22R1 using remote deployment on Azure Storage.If there any way to use Azure Storage for DocMan. I have tired using Shared Path but seems its working.in This i have created Repositotary Address using \\<ServerName>\<path mapped on the server given user name password for the server. Added Same Address in Repositotary and used port 22 (SCP) as the azure storage path is mapped to linux server. But While check in the document its failing to connet to the Respositotary.Please suggest. Storing documents on Database is not a very good option.RegardsPankaj

So my company is on apps 10 upd 18 and we are migrating to Cloud here very soon. I have an open ticket right now about an issue that we discovered in Aurena apps 10. We have enabled attachments on the Payment tab of the supplier. We attach various payment information about the vendor here for reference. This said, what we discovered is that once we moved our accounting department over to Aurena, that the attachments weren’t showing up. The reason for this, we’ve discovered is that the attachments pane is only showing “header” level attachments and is no longer contextual to what you’re clicked on. In my ticket, I was told that this is a “limitation of the Aurena interface” and that a work around was to go to “document object connection” to view attached documents. I was also told that this community post was “already opened” but this is a different issue. We have been using attachments on the supplier payment tab for 4 years. Is this a known issue? If so, is there another community

Dear all,we are running IFS Cloud 21R2 as remote installation. Our IFS DB is growing and big portion of the volume are document attachments, therefore we would like to move them to a file storage service. We see “File Storage” option in document management repository, but we would like to confirmwhat “File Storage” services this option is supported with on remote installation, is it Azure File Storage or Azure Blob Storage or both? are there any prerequisites to make “File Storage” option working with Remote Installation?   can you pls. extend IFS documentation with more detailed information regarding the usage of “File Storage” and what storage services are exactly supported with remote installation of IFS Cloud? can you pls. extend IFS technical documentation with a configuration guide for the file storage repository?  is there any plan to support other file storage services with next releases of IFS Cloud?  Thanks

Hello, How can I update data in one column without using UPDATE statement? In this column I have some date values in format for example 01-DEC-24, or 03-JAN-23 but also some NULL values and I want to change those values to null with using SELECT statement, but I am not sure how can I change the data in existing column. My SQL command works but I am not sure if I can update existing column in entity configuration through + icon. Thanks

I've created a file storage repository and when creating a revision of a document, there is a problem with saving the file. When I try to write, I get the error below.  The repository configuration looks like below. In addition, I changed the settings here. Should I set anything else? 

I am working on setting up Document Management in our company for Standard Operating Procedures.  The management part is working, but I am curious how other users are making the documents available to the basic users (operators, laborers, etc) with limited access.Are you just managing the document revisions in Doc Mgmt and the publishing out to another location (Internal company webpage)?Are you creating a custom lobby to present the documents in an “organized” manner?Just looking for ideas from other users.  Thanks in advance.

Are there any plans to allow attachments to be drug in from Microsoft email?  Currently you have to drag to your desktop/temp folder and then drag into IFS.  This would cut out a step. Thank You

In Apps9 we can quickly create object connections between a document revision and multiple objects (for example several Shop Orders). When adding a row in the Objects tab in Document Revision window the Connect Object dialog appears and I can choose an Object type and then search and select multiple rows to connect to the document revision.I can’t find this functionality in Aurena (Cloud), hope someone could help me!

The customer wants to direct his share-point documents to IFS application through an BIZAPI integration (using an XML file). Like we can attach oracle path/local documents by just giving the file path (eg: C:/IFS/PROD/PDM/ABCDE123.pdf) through an object property , is there any method we can use in this scenario to attach those share-point documents? If there’s no any way, what is the best approach we can give to the customer as a solution?
