Good Day,I am in the process of implementing IFS Cloud 25R2. I am currently running the SAP application, and I need to migrate 7-year-old data to IFS Cloud. Tell me if that is possible and what are the risks come with that migration load. The reason is that our legal requirement requires us to carry 7-year-old data to the new system.RegardsRukiya

Hi All,I created a FNDMIG job using the method Eng_Part_Structure_API.Remove__ to remove subparts from Engineering Part Navigator and it does delete any records.  It does not give any errors but display this in the Last Info.I have attached my migration job herewith.If I use the Method Eng_Part_Structure_API.Part_SubPart_Conn_Removeit will remove the subpart.Which method should I use to remove Subpart from an Engineering Part Navigator?Why the first method(Remove__) does not work in the migration job?Can someone please help me to clarify what is the correct method to use and why the first method fails? Thank you!Disna M 

I want to use a migration job (Procedure Name: EXCEL_MIGRATION) for a specific view to create multiple data records where all fields—except for "Contract"—have the same values, while the "Contract" field has a different value for each record.Previously, I had to write a separate row for each "Contract" and click the "Execute" button to register them.Now, I would like to be able to enter just a single row of data and have multiple records (one for each "Contract") registered upon clicking the "Execute" button.

Smart mapping - no use? I always have to do manually selecting every object in DMM. why can’t it do the job even though my legacy file and target table definitions object names are same? I did the Re-synch and set legacy file to target before I did that smart mapping option. Any ideas? 

I am trying to update authoriser field for supplier invoice using a migration job as below , job is executing without any errors but the value is not updating in the invoice tab Can add the authoriser manually so the configuration part looks ok

This I think is one of those questions that will be hard to solve, hopefully I’m wrong. I have been using the Data Migration Manager for some time now, it works well(ish) for (al)most all containers… sometimes… well… nobody’s perfect 😁One area where I have struggle particularly is the Additional Deployment Processes, more specifically, the Post Deployment actions that update statuses.I have seen one example created by IFS R&D which is the one that update statuses for CUSTOMER_ORDER entities. i am trying to migrate Posting Control Details but the Migration Job fails with a strange error. I have confirmed that the Posting Control Master record is available with valid dates but i still get the mentioned error. Any clues what might be causing this? We are working on an effort to implement the India GET Functionality. To implement this new functionality we need to create a new Company/Site. We will be migrating from one site to another. As we work through all transactions, we have an issue regarding our open inter-site Purchase Orders > Customer Orders.Specifically:We have Intersite Purchase Orders (our India site 1300) to one of our internal Supplier: 10 where the connected Customer Order is on Site 10.When we migrate the Purchase Orders (from site 1300 to the new site with India Get: 1301) we are looking for a way/best practice to reconnect them to the existing Customer Orders in Site 10.Product Version: 24.2.6We have close to 4,000 open Inter-Site PO Lines that will need to be migrated to the new site. And are looking for the best way to update all of them in mass.

Hello,IHAC tying to update the expire date on 4,000 records within ‘report archive’.  According to support KB0084604,” To update the expiration date, system use 'Report_Archive_SVC.Do_Change_Exp_Date' method. We are trying to bulk change the status of Product Structure/ Routings Alternate from Tentative to Buildable as part of the migrated data using the below settings but the job is not updating anything and getting the below error ,not sure what is going wrong here  

Hi All, I have migrated data into Fixed assets Object page by creating a migration job with the view FA_OBJECT.And now I’m trying to import objects to each FA Object to add Acquisition data and Depreciation information.So I created a migration job connecting FA_OBJECT_TRANSACTION view but it seems like that’s not the correct way to migrate them because they’re not showing in balance analysis report. But I can see records in Post Imported Object Transactions page.I would really appreciate it if I could get your guidance to migrate them.Thank you in Advance! 

We are currently in IFS CLOUD 25R1. We successfully migrated all of our documents from our on prem non-IFS system to IFS CLOUD (600k files). Then we migrated the documents from database storage to our BLOB. However, we need to now migrate to the production environment. As we were only in UAT. To avoid migrating all the documents again. Could we clone the file storage from our UAT environment to our PROD environment. Then populate all of the needed tables that reference these files? If this is possible does anybody know what all tables would need populated. I know of EDM_FILE_TAB, DOC_ISSUE_TAB, but I wasn’t sure if there was another table I was missing. Any help on this would be useful. Thank you. *NOTE we cannot clone the database from UAT to production because we need our PROD environment to be a blank slate for our data migration.

Hello everyone,We recently migrated to IFS Cloud 25R2 (SU6) and noticed a change in the format of the "ActualShipDate" field in the Dispatch Advice messages (DESADV) we send.Before migration:"ActualShipDate": "2026-07-17T16:04:55" (local timestamp, no timezone indicator)Since the migration to 25R2:"ActualShipDate": "2026-07-20T10:29:20Z" (UTC timestamp, with "Z" suffix) This is causing issues on the receiving side, which expects the previous format without the UTC indicator.Has anyone else run into this on Dispatch Advice (DESADV), or on other outbound messages? Is this an intentional/documented change, and if so, is there a way to keep the previous format?For reference, we have also opened an official support case on this topic: CS0542209.Thanks in advance for any insight! Soumia

Do we need separate license for Smart Data Manager Migration Tool or as part of standard IFS 11 cloud license we get SDM to use for data migration.

We are implementing data purging in our Clevest Test environment and need clarificationon the recommended approach before moving to production:Current Setup:- Active Archiving feature- ETL Data Warehouse task running every 15 minutes (non-one-to-one mapping)- Web frontend purging feature availableQuestions:1. Should purging be configured via Archiving or ETL?2. What is the recommended sequence: Archive → Purge → ETL, or another order?3. How do we ensure all source data is captured in the Data Warehouse beforepurging from the source database?4. 25.1.7Using the DMM tool, if the standard unit in IFS for INCH is ‘in’, will a part migrate if it’s unit in the legacy system is ‘IN’? Does the legacy unit case affect if the part will/will not migrate?

Hi, We have just upgraded from Apps10 to CLoud.  Cloud no longer has a sticky note feature, I am trying to find the best way to convert the data held in the table to readable text.  My hope is to create a custom field on the table and then populate it with the data.  However when I try to convert I am getting the following in the field. {\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\deff0\deflang1033{\fonttbl{\f0\fnil\fcharset0 Trebuchet MS;}}\viewkind4\uc1\pard\lang2057\f0\fs20 new PO has been created\par\parplease see \fs20 E200049\lang1033\par} What is the best way to get the actual text ?

HiI have connected to our PROD environment via Oracle Database in Excel but I can’t seem to find the correct views.I have searched within the folders listed but unable to see INVENTORY_PART view for example.Is is possible to query these views in Excel? 

Is it necessary to update the manifest required for the Excel add-in in conjunction with IFS Cloud updates? Also, if you are aware of the update procedure (including steps for end users of the Excel add-in), could you please let me know?
