Hi,We are currently exploring a solution for one of our clients in the Defense sector.They aim to secure their Sensitive Data on IFS Cloud while ensuring compliance with ITAR regulations, especially in terms of Data display and access (e.g., Parts, Suppliers, etc.).Do we have an integrated solution in IFS to manage Sensitive Data and ITAR requirements, or do we have any references or documentation on how we can address this type of issue? Thanks in advance!

In DMM, I’m trying to load a file from Server and getting the following error. When loading the identical file On Client, everything succeeds so I’m assuming there is a bug in DMM in 24R2. This is the error returned when loading from On Server:Unable to Start LOAD_LEGACY_SER_FILE - ORA20110: DatLegacyDataUtil. LOADFILEERR: Legacy file load error. ORA20110: DatServerFile. NOTABEXT: External Table not created. ORA20110 DatServerFile NOTAB: Table not created: ORA00911: invalid characterTried loading a file with *.csv extension and no extension and the same error incurs. Bug? Me thinks so.

Hi Expert, The DMM documentation says that the installation environment should be PROD, and the reason is that DB links cannot be created to PROD. ・Why can't I create a DBLINK to PROD environment?・Is there a problem with the method of preparing DMM in the TEST environment and then transferring data from the TEST environment to the PROD environment when migrating data?  ーーーーDefine Migration Project - Technical Documentation For IFS Cloud

Hi,Does anyone know where (or whether) a link is recorded between two related/opposite inventory transactions in the database? This is for reporting purposes on stock movements.For example, if I move some stock from one location to another location, two transactions are created: an INVM-OUT transaction at the location the stock was moved from, and an INVM-IN transaction at the location it was moved to.However, I’ve been unable to find anywhere in the database that actually links these two transaction IDs, making reporting difficult when I want to show both the From and To Locations for a single stock movement.Is there a link between these transactions in the database? If so, I imagine this would be stored in a mapping table, but I haven’t been able to find one so far.I’d appreciate any input anyone could provide.Thanks!Wilf

Hi All,We are using apps 10 and need to Migrate Inventory Parts with revisions set at 2 or higher. When we tested this the migration worked however in each case it created a Revision 1 as well as the revision we wanted. As an example we migrated a Part with revision 5, and it created a revision 1 and a revision 5.Is there a way to overcome this and only have the revisions required. Thanks and Merry Christmas

I have a user on my team that, when opening an EXCEL_MIGRATION job on a spreadsheet, gets the results where the “Result Column” is created but left outside the Excel Table, like this: odd results from the user In spite of that, if I do exactly the same steps this executing, I end up with a table where the “Result Column” is included: it works for meAt first I thought something was wrong with the Job configuration, but having confirmed this cannot be replicated in my computer (and it also worked fine for a 3rd user who tried it...) Hi, I am trying to migrate some data into my new custom field.  The custom field is based on a custom logical unit which is referenced.I keep getting the error key violated - I have worked out that the issue is that the custom field _DB column is looking for the obj key or obj id from the custom logical unit - how do I get that please ? Thanks

As for maintenance, whats the grandparent/parent/child relation ripples for creating the right object type and those relations? which field labels are the broader items and which are the more machine-specific? How does that relation look in a stair-step map? 

Hi IFS Data Migration Friends!In APPS 10, using the migration Toolkit, we had an extremely useful feature available to us when migrating large containers called the "Container Processing Rates" form.In that form you were able to see how the processing of that container was doing, how many rows were migrated per minute and how many errors were generated as the deploy unfolds in real time. It looked like this:I miss my Container Processing Rates features :(For large containers, this was an early warning that we may need to wait for 3 or 4 hours to see this container fully migrated. Hello Community!Today I’m trying to insert some Units of Measure using Data Migration Manager. When I try to commit my changes, I see the error description “Method MODIFY failed : ORA-20122: IsoUnit.ERRUPDUSED: The field [USED_IN_APPL] is not valid for update for user defined codes.” in those UoM that are user defined.Any ideas how can I approach a solution for this? So far I tried setting the “USED_IN_APP” as “Out of Scope” in the Target Table definition but that doesn’t make any difference.

Dear All, we want to use the Excel Addin as Transport Tool to Create or Update Customer Order / Sales Quotation Lines. Now when we use the Excel Add In we have to do the following Steps:1.Open Excel 2 .Open Excel Addin and Login 3. Choose the Migration Job 4. A Popup Window if we want to Load in Same Sheet or in a new SheetWith these 4 Steps we have then the data entry Colums and van work with Search, Validation an Execution.We want to get rid of the Steps 3 and 4. Furthermore we want to Save an Excel with the alrady loaded Data Entry Colums and already Choosen Data Migration Job.  Has anybody an idea if it it possible to do so? On our Accounts Payables lobby screen there are 21 invoices showing errors on the final posting proposals page that have been locked in there for years and they will not clear. They are all paid posted, however they all include this error: (Apps 10 EE) We are moving to Cloud in February and have a testing space currently where they also migrated over to this environment. I had read that it could be a bug, but it wasn't the same specific error so i’m not 100% sure. If this is the case and it is a bug, will it resolve itself once we fully transition to Cloud?

Specifically, I want to prevent fields from being updated with empty values. Hi everyone,I’m unable to use a migration job to input a non-inventory sales parts with JUST a tax class.  If I try, I get the following error… I can however, create one with JUST a tax code.The odd thing is that if you debug the sales_part_api call when using IFS, both tax class AND tax code are supplied i.e. from the debug attr'TAX_CODE'||chr(31)||''||chr(30)||'TAX_CLASS_ID'||chr(31)||'1'||chr(30)|| Can anyone share any light on why this is?
